It's hard to find a coffee shop that delivers a great coffee consistently but they always do. In addition the staff is always friendly. If you ever get the chance you should stop by.

It's just a brief walk from the Marymoor Village light rail station, so you can hop on in downtown Redmond, ride 2 minutes, walk 2 minutes, and you are there .

Months ago, the district manager made sure to tell employees to not allow me to split my two bags of tea into two orders because I wasn't paying for the added honey. Seriously?!?!! When I used to spend $30 a day every day they want to give yet another reason to not give them business. Ugghhh! Customers are numbers and not people. Point made over and over now. I guess I am a very slow learner or hoped for better.

Finding parking was a breeze, with ample free spots available even during the busy weekend lunch rush. Upon arrival, there was no line, allowing us to place our orders promptly. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and various topping options. Sharetea has always been one of those boba brands that doesn't break the bank, offering a wide range of tea options. I was particularly pleased to discover they offered a no-ice option, perfect for someone like me who can't handle cold drinks well. Opting for my go-to Oolong tea, I noticed that Sharetea has its own distinct flavor profile. The pearls were generously portioned, adding to the overall enjoyment of the drink. While the wait time was short during our visit, it's worth noting that this may have been due to the lack of other customers at that time. Tonight my friend and I came in to grab some drinks. We have always been huge fans of Sharetea! Drinks 10/10. We were helped by a male who looks like he's college aged. His service was phenomenal! But his two other female colleagues on the other hand seemed to just stand there talking amongst each other while the male was taking orders AND making drinks! Did I mention it was busy too? I know how it feels to be in that male's position when you have coworkers who don't do anything. @manager if you're seeing this, that young man deserves recognition. And you need to reinforce to your employees that this is a JOB, and it looks poorly on them and the franchise itself when you have that poor of a work ethic. read more

Sharetea is hands down one of the best bubble tea spots around! The drinks are consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced -- not too sweet, with just the right amount of creaminess. Well, the tea is just so-so, not impressed. And the place is really just for you to grab a tea and go somewhere else. It is small and their servers seem do not want you to stay anyway, feel like that you owe them money. ERR... Atmosphere: no seating, long lines for ordering, waiting for your order to be completed is longer than waiting in the line (I presume it is because they fill mobile orders at the same time). Menu: posted on the back wall above the register, also a smaller menu at the beginning of the ribbon divider. Service: order and pay at the front, wait for your order to be announced, grab your own straw. Mango Sago Smoothie: I requested 30% sweetness and it was still very sweet but that wasn't the worst part--it wasn't until I reach the bottom of the cup that I saw the sago was nothing but two large coagulated clumps. It was clearly poorly made and not fresh. The mango tasted mediocre and was nothing to write home about. The boba was also very unevenly cooked and was mushy on the outside and rubbery/hard inside. I noticed this on the first sip and wasn't going to stand back in the 10 minute queue to get it remade. I'm all for bubble tea joints and I honestly thought the drinks would be better quality for a chain so large that I hear about.

Still, since this is the only non-chain boba shop in Redmond, and I was in the area for an event, I decided to give it a chance. The menu at this location is a bit different, since it doesn't allow tea selection for the milk tea at the kiosk. There are two kiosks even though I doubt this place gets too busy, given that it was just after lunch at 1PM on a Sunday, and there was only one other party inside. Boba Milk Tea, 30% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea is a very pleasing almost orangish color that's actually quite a fragrant, tasting more similar to a Ceylon than an Assam that most other boba shops use. There's a caramelized milky sweetness to the drink, like they use pure condensed milk as a sweetener. It all combines together to give vaguely Hong Kong-style milk tea notes. At 30% sweet, it's pleasingly only slightly sweet, much better than the harsh sweetness at 50% from the other location. Note this drink comes with boba by default, but I wasn't paying attention and ended up adding additional boba (adds 75 cents). At least, I think there was an additional order in the cup, given that it seemed to be a larger amount of boba than is usual. The boba is surprisingly pretty good. While the pearls are smooth, not that sweet, and are a bit inconsistent in size, they have a surprisingly good bounce and the chew is quite good, albeit a tiny bit on the firm side. Overall much better than what I received on Capitol Hill. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 I was really surprised at the quality of the drink I received at this Meetea location.
