    Matcha Latte

Matcha latte with no sugar option. I have not tried other places for matcha tea/latte around here but decent option.

The eye-catching drinks at Drip Tea enticed me to stop by after lunch on two different occasions. It's one of the food stalls located in the back of the Lincoln Square Food Hall, but their bright lighting and signage listing their most popular beverages make this place difficult to miss. The prices here are steeper than most other boba shops, with their specialty drinks starting at $7.50, but I figured it was worth a try. At the counter, use one of the two self-ordering kiosks to select your drink and pay. Most of their specialty drinks come automatically with fruit bits, but you can substitute those for a different topping at no extra charge. During both visits, the staff kindly answered our questions about customizations. While you can modify the sweetness, one employee mentioned that the differences in levels are pretty minor and they don't add that much sugar in the first place. I ordered both of my drinks at 25% sweetness which was just right. + N.E.R.D ($7.50): This is described as a guava lemonade with butterfly pea tea and strawberry bits. I unfortunately couldn't detect the flavor of guava nor the tea... this tasted like straight strawberry lemonade after stirring it up. Despite how pretty the drink was, it was unfortunately underwhelming. Sure, it was a good refreshing strawberry lemonade with juicy fruit bits, but it was not worth $7.50. + ABLOH ($7.50): Normally a mango and passionfruit green tea with mango bits, but I substituted the mango for boba. The flavor of the tea itself was pretty subtle, but I enjoyed the burst of passion fruit flavor. It was a nice tropical drink, and the boba was delightfully chewy, not mushy. If I ordered a traditional fruit tea or milk tea, then perhaps the actual tea flavor would have been more apparent. However, I just could not pass up ordering these two specials. Despite the great service, my rating ultimately comes down to the drinks. In terms of taste, they were fine, but compared to all the other boba spots in Bellevue, Drip Tea wouldn't be one of my top choices.

You order on a kiosk which was clear and easy to use. The service was very quick. The matcha was good and tasty!

Drip tea is located on the second flour of Lincoln Square. My friend and I took a workout class at Trufusion and decided to try a drink afterwards. The two workers working were super sweet and nice. They asked us if we had any questions and offered their recommendations. I got the strawberry fruit tea that he recommended. It was refreshing, but wasn't amazing boba. They also told me to get it less sweet as the drink is pretty sweet. The drink had some strawberry pieces in it. I wouldn't ever crave this, but I wouldn't say it is terrible.

    Ube soft serve

Other folks go to Drip Tea for drinks, I go to Drip Tea for their ube soft serve. Ube, for those not familiar with it, is a purple sweet potato, a dessert flavor dominant in the Philippines. In recent years, it has been adopted by numerous eateries, eager to incorporate this curious flavor into their mix. Drip Tea does a fairly good job with their ube soft serve. The ube flavor is one of the stronger variants. For the flavor to truly standout, this aspect is very important. Their soft serve is not very creamy. It's more on the icy side, such that its texture is closer to a McDonald's ice cream cone, except much firmer with good body (mouth-feel). That's good enough for me. As it turns out, this version will become my favorite compare to two others that I will stumble upon within two weeks' time. This location is at the South Lincoln Square Food Hall. The ambiance is simple and functional. We had no wait when we went after an early dinner. Ordering is via the tablet only.

This is the best boba I've ever had in my life. As a visitor from NYC, we stumbled upon this unassuming boba place during our search for a more fulsome dinner. This place is located inside a high rise complex near a food court area so we didn't really know what to expect. We ordered the Triple S (strawberry shortcake smoothie) and it was the most delicious drink I've ever had. It was refreshing, sweet, and so incredibly addicting. I wish they would start a branch in NYC. The service was also great as the staff is down for some banter while they whip up your drink for you!

Stopped by just to check out the menu for drinks only but found a small menu for soft. Serve. Ube?! Yes please. Ordered: Ube with toppings: mochi and boba Ube vanilla soft serve with toppings: boba and matcha dust Delish. We'll be back. Quick and friendly service.

I'm a fan of Drip Tea on Capitol Hill, so was glad to see it has made a home in Bellevue at the newly updated Lincoln Square Food Hall. Just like at its Seattle location, you'll find all the favorite drinks and some soft serve and options. I visited Drip Tea on a Saturday around dinner time and the food hall itself was busy with customers, including Drip Tea. Yet, instead of waiting in line to order with an employee, you can easily use one of the two touchscreens to order and pay. I ordered the Babycat blended drink, which is a taro smoothie with Oreo and a chocolate swirl. All of the drinks are pricey, which seems to be the case for most things in the Seattle area. With tip and tax, my drink was nearly $10, so it was steep. It didn't take too long to get my drink, but had to remind the staff to make my drink when they asked if I already ordered since I was standing around, waiting for it. Yes, I already ordered and paid, dude. They apologized for not seeing the order come through, which was not a big deal since I was in no hurry. The drink was good, but it's not $10 good. I love taro, which is the main reason I ordered Babycat. It had a good taro flavor and was blended nicely, with not too much ice. I'm just not sure I'd pay $10 again for this blended drink when the menu features much more to discover, including the ube soft serve for less. We shall see.

    K.R.E.A.M. and Takahashi

Been wanting to try this place, so I was happy to see that they opened one closer to me. I tried the Takahashi and my bf tried the K.R.E.A.M. We both liked our drinks. I like all the unique and variety of flavors, so I will definitely be back to try more.

    Jasmine Milk Tea & Takahashi
    Vivien L.

The customer service is nice and friendly. One of the workers gave my friend and I milk and fruit tea recommendations and my friend got a strawberry fruit tea drink he recommended. I tried a sip of it and it was not too sweet and refreshing. I liked it better than my Jasmine milk tea with 50% sweet, less ice, and boba. I didn't like my drink because it didn't have much flavor tea wise and the boba was bad.

I'm glad there is a Drip Tea location here in Bellevue now! It's hidden in the back corner of the food hall inside Lincoln Square! The guy working was friendly and nice. The milk tea was prepared very quickly and it tasted really amazing! The boba inside was warm and soft. But the milky tea was a little too sweet (even at 25%) so next time I will get it with zero sugar! I would recommend this boba place :)

One of the worst. Can't taste the tea, be it fruit tea or milk tea. 50% ice but still tons of us. A tea/boba shop but out of boba. Price isn't good either, but it's Bellevue, so everything's expensive. Definitely pass.

    Triple S
    Meng Z.

Was craving boba and found this spot. This is located on the second floor of some mall/office building complex with a bunch of food stalls in a food court like set up. When we went up to order boba at Drip Tea, the staffs were really helpful and checked in with us to see if we have any questions about the menu. We ended up ordering the Triple S (strawberry shortcake smoothie + strawberry bits). Love trying these speciality drinks that are different from the regular flavors. Definitely a solid spot to grab boba if you're in the area.

Atmosphere: Cafe-like setting with some tables and board games to choose from if you wish. Listen, I'm all for these kinds of shops and if you love what they provide, go for it. However, in my opinion places like this are on par with ice cream shops, though I'd visit less frequently here due to the the sheer price point. $10+ for a jar of something is a little on the steep end (feels like I'm mostly paying for the glass). I know they take care in their craft but I can't really justify the price point when I can buy an organic tub of yogurt elsewhere, get my toppings at an asian market myself, and have multiple servings from what I buy instead of just one. Again, my own opinion. The desserts here are very lightly sweetened which fits the palate of their target audiences very well. I do appreciate the subtleness of the sweet vs tang and love the idea of combining the exotic flavors they have. Very novel ideas that I will bring into my own kitchen with added granola. :)

With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.
