Delicious, quick, reasonably-priced, filling combo gyro (lamb and chicken) for $8 next to Koreatown/Herald Square in the year of 2025? And I paid with a credit card! Amazing. Unheard of. Good flavor and red and white sauce. Very good service--I love that man. I can't imagine a better late-night eat after being out and about.

Combo (Lamb + Chicken) over Rice

Convenient halal cart near Koreatown so a fun vibe if you want to sit and eat near by, and overall the plate was fine. I got the combo over rice (lamb + chicken), and the lamb was definitely had more flavor. The chicken, on the other hand, was pretty dry but it was a good sized portion. The white sauce was great, and the hot sauce had a solid kick, so points there. What surprised me were some of the additions: the fries were unexpected but actually added a nice texture, while the salad was easily the worst part. Slightly off tomatoes, limp lettuce, and beans mixed in for some reason. Decent stop if you are in the area and hungry but not amazing. Service was quick and friendly.

Got the combo over rice. It was about $10 when paying with cash. Generous amount of sauce & the sauce was pretty good. I think next time I just get the lamb though as I enjoyed it more than the chicken. Also there are small amounts of onions mixed in.

Amazing food truck with amazing vibes! It's only 10 for a lamb platter and the food was so satisfying! They are extremely accommodating and quick! The hotdog that I got was a nice appetizer and was only $4! The chilli cheese one is $6, I definitely need to try it next time ! I WILL be coming back!

such a solid halal food truck that gives big portions and for $10 a platter!! they are super fast and friendly as well. as a vegetarian, I'm picky about falafel and it was so crispy n packed with flavor here. everything about this bowl just hit while being perfectly filling. the salad they put on the side and being able to add more of a certain topping w no extra charge is much appreciated as well. it's in the heart of herald square too so there's lots of tables nearby to sit and eat!

One of the spots for halal in New York City, they put care into their sauces and meats that you don't find in most places. Make sure you ask for extra white sauce.

Really hit the spot after a night out. The food truck is right by Koreatown. It was a short wait for combo rice, and $10 cash for a combo rice/most of the meat + rice platters. (Staff mentioned there is a slight upcharge for using credit card, although I'm not sure how much) They also check you're okay with having all the toppings + which sauces you want.

Food here slaps. The combo over rice is delicious--the rice is fragrant, meats are great, the salad has tomatoes and beans, and they add pita and fries too. Definitely get both sauces. Service is standard for a food truck, a bit rude or focused sometimes but you get what you get. Ambiance is...well, a food truck in midtown

The service was fast and there was no line. The rush hour traffic effect ordering on the sidewalk and after hearing colleagues brag about this truck I had to give it a try. There's a lot going on in this platter for only $10. The chicken is tender, the rice is filling, but chick peas and French fries is a whole new experience on a halal plate. I'd definitely eat here if time is short and I need to buy something reasonably priced.

Lamb gyro. A bite to show the inside. You may like it.

Experience with prior customers, poor. With me? I talk and have fun. The food? Lamb was not what I hoped for. It was unrecognizable and the sauces devoured any form of meat profile. Bread was great! White sauce alone would have been enough. The red just overpowered it for me. No doubt, a different audience would appreciate it more.

Combo plate with lamb and chicken and a few falafels

OMG!!! Sharif's Halal truck was soooooooooooooo flavorful. First of all it was very easy to order, I ordered from Sharif himself. I wanted to try a little bit of everything and he said "No Problem, whatever you want!". So, I got to try the falafels which were so crunchy and crispy in the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The chicken had great flavor and the lamb was my favorite with bursts of spices that went along extremely well with the rice and salad. The white sauce was addicting and the spicy sauce was surprisingly not too spicy, however he did say that the sauce would "Make me fly" (it was not that hot, I can promise you that!) Overall, really great and we will probably go back again. My entire plate with the extra falafels was $10.

the best halal in nyc! the workers are always super nice and they give amazing portions.

Nothing fancy, just delicious food for an unbelievable price. When you walk into this large spacious "cafeteria" with steam trays, it looks clean and quiet. There was a lady at the cash register that wasn't too helpful, but I guess the communication barrier played a part. At $8.99 per pound, you can really fill up here for an insanely good price. My favorites have been the beef dishes and therefore often skip all the chicken items. However, feel free to make a plate anyway you like. At the end of the day, I'm sure it'll be great.

The spicing can be quite different from other styles of cuisine, but whether or not you like it is a personal decision. I liked most of the food that was offered. I found the baked chicken to be excellent. The stewed chicken and the goat dish were also very good. Vegetables are all excellent...from greens to cabbage to carrots...all are delicious. The whole fish has a distinctive strong taste that took some getting used to...perhaps a lot of paprika and red pepper, but I'm not really sure...certainly a nice portion size. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.

The cheese is on the lighter side and the textural combination is nice, sort of like a baklava cheesecake but crispier and lighter. I like heavier cheesecakes though. Drinks: golden negroni was spot on, but didn't like the sangria. They had a medjool cocktail that went off the menu to my disappointment. Appetizers: the octopus carpaccio was the best and I'd order again. The tuna tartare was a little too heavy on the sauce flavor, and the golden beets were unmemorable. The yellowtail was good I think, but didn't stand out either. Mains: the duck borek has more of a sausage like meat texture. I thought it was decent but the meat being duck didn't do much and I've had better boreks in Astoria. It comes with a vegetable side that is a nice offset. I tried a friend's lamb chops and this was really good with the cooked cherries.

Buns were incredibly good - a close second to a joint in Chicago we ate at last weekend. Succulent meat, plenty of sauce, and just the usual pillowy bun. The edamame didn't seem spicy at first - then my face melted. Still good but a deep burning spiciness to them as advertised. For my entree I got the beef miso ramen, adding corn and an egg. The corn wasn't just a pile of kernels - but a side slice of a cob. Cool presentation. Beef was good and the broth soothed my soul. Top 10 ramen places I've been - well done.
