She just used scissors and combs in the cart from her first client on my kid. Also, she tried to reuse the same bib from the client before us. Really really not okay or clean. 2. We asked for no clippers and she used them anyway. She had asked us if we wanted a 2 or 3 and we said we didn't know what that meant, so she pulled out the clippers and cut his hair saying "this is a 3". But we had just said we didn't want clippers - she could've explained without using the clippers on him first. 3. She ran almost 20 minutes long with the person ahead of us and was pretty nonchalant about it. No "sorry for the wait!" or anything. I haven't noticed these in the past so there needs to be some serious retraining of the staff. I don't feel comfortable bringing my kids here anymore though.

Cutting a toddlers hair has to be similar to trying to shave warm butter. However, Vivian at castle cuts has mastered it. He came in looking like scoobies bestie, shaggy. By the time Vivian finished her masterpiece, he was a dapper little prince. I can't thank her enough! Her ability to handle him, keep him calm and when he started getting squirrelly she was a pro and knowing just how to zig when he zagged to get his hair perfect. Even more adorable was the crown, sucker and balloon they gave him as he left. I am a new loyal fan and will be back many times over.

Throughout the appointment, she never checked in with me to see if the haircut was meeting our expectations or if any adjustments were needed. Instead, she simply removed the cape and announced that she was finished. When I expressed concerns about the haircut, the stylist appeared annoyed and literally rolled her eyes before making a quick attempt to fix it. Even after the adjustment, she didn't ask whether it looked better or if we were satisfied. The interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and unprofessional. I understand that miscommunication can happen, but basic customer service and respect should still be part of the experience. After three negative visits, I don't feel confident returning.

I come in frizzy and dry due to my hair being naturally curly but I always leave with it silky smooth that lasts for weeks.
