Went for boy's first haircut at 18 months. I recommend making an appointment through the website bc while they work fast, it's been busy both times I went (failed to make appt first time). They do take walk-ins, though. The environment is very overstimulating & each station has a tv in front of it, which does help distract them for the haircut & there's really no way to avoid it. Take your own toys to avoid buying anything. The cut, with a 20% tip, was $45, which is outrageous, but it's a cute place, you get cute pics, they work really fast, and it's equipped with distractions to keep the kids occupied while sharp objects are around their face lol. read more

Little Clippers can improve the haircuts provided to customers and the consistency in which they are provided. I asked for my son's hair to be cut collar length on the back and just above and around the ears. Instead of receiving that type of cut, clippers were used to essentially cut off 1/2 of the hair that we wanted him to keep. It will now take our son about 4 months to grow his hair back so that we can get the haircut we intended him to have received today. read more

First time coming to Sharky's for a kids haircut and I'm not disappointed!! Thanks to google search I found this place. I had a bad experience elsewhere, so I was iffy on where to go next. It was very easy to book online and you have the ability to chose your stylist, something I couldn't do at other places. Upon arrival, I was extremely impressed with the greeting I received and the vibe they had going. The stylist I booked with was Adriana, she's very patient with kids and keeps them comfortable and entertained, while she does her cut. Her work is amazing. Overall, pleased from start to finish. Definitely recommend and I will continue to book for further cuts. My son loved his haircut. read more

We have multiple visits to Sharkey's at this location. My takeaway is that this is a real mixed experience. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it is truly awful - like it was this past weekend. Before I made this review, I have made 5 attempts to contact the store manager directly to provide feedback via both phone and Messenger, and have been ignored. This past weekend I booked an appointment with Jessika at 10:30, only half an hour after opening. She does a fantastic job, so we wanted to go with her. When we arrived, 15 mins early, she was with another client. No worries, we were early. We get to 10:45 and she is still not available for our appointment. Without asking if we were okay with not using Jessika, Nancy comes over to start cutting my son's hair. I show three photos of a "longer on top, shorter on the sides" hair style, and we discuss his cowlick/fringe and that Jessika previously used texturizing scissors to thin it out / make it a little shorter. Things are going okay, until she gets toward the end of the cut and I ask for her to take care of his fringe a little as it was still in his eyes. Instead of doing what we agreed and using texturizing scissors, she grabs the clippers and basically shaves the top of his head saying "since you want it short" in a spiteful tone. He is now short all over and his cowlick is poking up ridiculously. I tell her I am unhappy and she blames me "you wanted it short" - no, I wanted a little off his fringe as discussed, and you've basically shaved his head. She then proceeds to get a huge handful of bright blue hair gel to "save" this terrible haircut. His hair is literally blue. I tell her to wash it out, and then I towel dry his hair. At this point I just want her to stop. I am on the verge of tears, I feel terrible that I've let her do this to my son and I didn't jump in and stop her. She is telling me it's a good cut and it is fine, and that I wanted it short, just completely gaslighting me. The photo I showed her and what we got are light years apart. I pay and I leave. I've tried to call so many times and the manager is not in the store, I've sent multiple Messenger messages and so I have no other option but to warn people about this woman who seemed to take umbrage at me simply (politely!) asking for a little more off his fringe to get it out of his eyes, and punished my son as a result. I really cannot believe I left a tip, but I didn't want a confrontation as I was already upset. I really want a refund for our treatment last weekend. I was absolutely disgusted, not only by her deliberate actions but also her denial of the problem. Nancy does not seem to care about her customers at all. We pay top dollar at this place because he is excited for the balloon, and the environment. Adriana and Jessika are lovely do a great job, so I feel bad leaving this. But I really did try to give the feedback directly. read more

my son got the worst haircut I have ever seen! the stylist blamed it on the child for her lack of skills. not only did she avoid accountability for her horrific cut, but she also charged for the cut! I will never bring my kids back here again!! read more

Went here being so nervous my 13 month old would be very scared and not cooperative and then Ms.Jessica came and was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My baby loved her me and my husband loved her she was so kind and so patient and knew exactly how to make my baby feel okay and not scared. She explained everything she was doing and kept making sure what we wanted. She made it so FUN. 10/10 we are now a new customer here and only go to her!! read more
