I explained my order to him which was a large perch order but add an extra perch to it (one large order equals 5 perch); he said it was $18 but when i added just one extra piece of perch to it he said it was $30 something i tried reasoning with him but instead he just hung up on me. Well I visited this Sharks in lansing on 4/11/2021 I called in an order for 6 wings, the price was $9.84 all together, I was already on their lot when I called and was told about 10 minutes. I go inside after about 5 minutes and notice they had a 5 wing special for $6.99, I had already paid 9.84 and decided to just get 5 instead of 6 wings saving myself 2.35. When I informed the young man who took my order I only wanted 5 not 6 he said well it will still be almost 8.00 for the 5, I said no it should only be about 10% tax on 6.99 he ended up refunding the difference. Meanwhile its been about 15 minutes since I placed my order the cook had dropped about 60 wings in the fryer so I guess mine were comming out of those. The problem was now I was suppose to wait another 15 or so minutes instead of the original 10. Why would he not drop my wings separate? I was the only one in the place? The young man was taking large phone orders of chicken but I only wanted 5!! Also they were for my elderly Mother. While the wings were cooking I was watching the cook the whole time he pulled out some raw catfish with his gloved hands after dealing with the chicken and proceeded to bread the fish with his same gloves on. Well after what seemed like forever, the cook pulled the chicken from the grease he dropped fresh fries and when they were done, with his same gloves on he used on the raw fish he proceeded to take his contaminated gloved hand and grab my fries and grab my wings!! I couldn't believe he did that where were the tongs? I have my Safe Serve Certificate and I know proper food handling,I yelled out you did not change your gloves from the raw fish now you're touching my cooked food that is for my Mother!! you could make her sick!! The cook yelled something back at me and I think he threw one of his gloves. I asked did he have his Safe Serve Certificate? he didn't answer and I didn't see it posted anywhere. Moral of the story this behavior probably goes on all the time and someone could or maybe has gotten sick before. We have enough going on with Covid to take chances with poor food handing when it can be avoided. I asked for a refund and walked out!! If you can see in the kitchen watch how they handle your food!! The sad part is, it's not even one person because my family and I have visited on multiple occasions, with (3) different (female) employees, and we catch attitude every single time for no apparent reason. It's extremely unnecessary, and we are nowhere near rude customers (trust me) - we actually handle rude customers daily so we go out of our way when visiting businesses to be kind to employees. Didn't care for this spot, I got fried shrimp and fries and you could tell they used the same oil for do fry their fish fries and shrimp. Also the oil was old.
