I seem to…read moreremember paying around $35 an hour at any time but it seems they have adopted higher pricing for more popular time slots. $45 per hour is pretty steep when you want to play for two hours. Considering the lack of 8' tables available in the area from 8am to 3am, it's great to have the option but my main complaint is the condition of the tables. They're fine for amateur play but if you are expecting to practice higher end shooting the felt is so worn on both tables that cue ball control is out of the question. The felt around pockets is torn, bumpers are loose and the tables are wobbly. I've reported the conditions and received an apology but looking at some of the comments here, it doesn't seem that they have ever been refelted or repaired. My wife and I just joined a league and love to practice with friends but I feel ripped off playing on their garbage tables and will be looking for other options.

Long story short: CHECK SHARK'S INFRACTIONS POLICY BEFORE GOING!! ACTUAL STORY: I signed up to play pool with 5 buddies for 2 hours. When our reservation was over, the next reservation had not arrived yet so we just kept playing. After about 15 mintues, I received a phone call from Sharks, who asked me if we were going to keep playing. I replied that, Yeah we're just going to stay until the next reservation arrives and then we'll leave. The lady I spoke to, then replied Okay, and that was the entirety of the phone call. I paid $120 for the two hours, and everything was fine, until I checked my CC the next day and I had been charged an additional $40. I emailed Sharks asking them what this $40 charge was about, and they explained because we stayed an extra 50 minutes. I said, Wait, I spoke with someone on the phone from Sharks and they said "Okay" when I told them we were just going to stay until the next reservation arrived; They said nothing about us getting charged for that time. The person then replied that this information is on their website. I told them that I have looked everywhere on their website and it says nothing about this type of charge; not in the FAQ section, the Pricing section, anywhere. The person writes me back saying that it's in the Infractions Policy part of their website. The Infractions Policy is the absolute last link at the bottom of their website, where you have to scroll all the way to the bottom. It's not in the header in the FAQ section (where it should be) or in the Pricing Section (where it also could be.) I say to the guy, listen this was our first time using Sharks, we talked to the person on the phone who said nothing about extra charges. You clearly are hiding your Infractions Policy at the bottom bottom of your website, could you please just give me a courtesy, and I will know next time to not stay past my reservation? To which the guy replied, Nope! Telling me I signed a contract with them when I click accept to their Terms of Service, going all South Park HumancentiPad episode on me. So this is my warning to all future Sharks customers, make sure you check the Infractions Policy before you decide to go, because they can and will charge you for just about anything. See the Infraction charges below. P.S. (5) Misuse of Equipment: Misusing equipment that results in damage or requires repair will result in a fine. The exact amount will be determined based on the extent of the damage. (6) Rowdy, Disruptive or Threatening Behavior: Such behavior will not be tolerated and may result in a fine up to $100. (7) Alcohol, Smoking, and Drug Use: Any obvious use of drugs, smoking, or alcohol will result in a fine up to $100. (8) Excess Cleaning Required: If guests make a mess and we need to clean the area, an extra cleaning fee will be applied up to $100. (9) Noise Complaint: Any noise complaints may result in a fine up to $100. (10) Inappropriate Physical Contact: Any inappropriate physical contact with another guest will result in a fine up to $100 and potentially being banned from our premises. Mostly pool tables but they also have some ping pong tables. When we came on a Wednesday it wasn't too busy. They had a live jazz band playing with 4 musicians. They were good! We didn't make it into the show, but honestly, this place softened the blow in the best way. It's a small, lower level dive bar, and I say dive with affection. Dim lighting, close quarters, pool table, dartboards, TVs tuned to the game. The kind of place where conversations overlap and nobody seems to mind. It feels lived in, in a good way. We popped in and out between line check ins, and each time it felt easier to settle in. We met some locals almost immediately and were joking around within minutes. It had that rare neighborhood energy where you don't feel like an outsider for long. I ordered a cider that was a little sweeter than I expected, but the older bartender, wearing a Jenna Ortega fangirl shirt no less, gave us a pro tip. Pour sweeter ciders over ice. Game changer. It mellowed it out and made it way more refreshing. Sometimes the smallest bar hacks are the most appreciated. Overall, it's a great spot to hang with friends, kill time, and lean into that classic Village sports bar atmosphere. When we reported it to them, they were DISRESPECTFUL to us and simply did NOT care. They are only to rip your pockets with their hefty and tasteless cocktails. The TVs were running 15-20 minutes behind. What a shameful business who is earning money unprofessionally and unethically.
