My son suggested this establishment after spending a day at a museum. This is a sports bar, billiards, eatery, happy hour specials (except for Fridays/Saturdays) feel good kind of place! We had happy hours drinks and ordered their signature "Cup Bob" bowls. I had the fried shrimp, my son the chicken teriyaki. The fresh ingredients and flavorful offerings left us more than satisfied! Special shoutout goes to the wing appetizer we ordered. So we had a choice of regular or spicy. Since I know that some places offer pseudo "spicy", I ordered the spicy. Confident in my ability to handle the heat. Well, brace yourself....I was 100 percent wrong! The Korean offerings at this restaurant clearly extend to the wings. My mouth with a measured degrees at 1000, was smiling and happy!! All in all, this place is a great laid back spot with a diverse clientele that converge to enjoy good food, and excellent service. Great social place to grab drinks and food. They have an array of games including billiards, darts, water pong, etc The food is a little pricey for the quantity and not the best bar food. The drinks are average priced with the strawberry cocktails tasting the best. The espresso martinis were good too. Service was slow and poor. Each bartender said a different thing regarding availability for drinks. They also gave the wrong food items. If it wasn't a company event being paid for I would've been more upset. read more

This a cool spot with decent prices for the pool tables in the back. Only about 6 tables so we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. They had some cool pay to play games like a punching machine, hoops, and a claw machine. The drinks were good and the food was even better. They have amazing bulgogi! Came here for drinks. It's a big spot and they have billiards, digital darts and a claw machine game. It's a decent sports bar. Kind of a mix between Clinton Hall and Krush (in Ktown). There's also a Photo Booth here as well. Fair prices - $16 cocktails, $7-9 beers. Nothing super special about the spot. My first interaction with the bartender was also slightly awkward. Anytime Billiards is a good spot if you're looking to play pool and chat with friends! In terms of drinks and food though, I thought it was just alright. I got a Blue Piña Colada which is priced at $19 and I didn't taste any alcohol in it and it was not as good as other piña coladas I had. The Wings were really crispy and I recommend ordering those! However, skip the Nachos and Bulmandoo. The chips got soggy was too easily and the dumpling skin was hard. The Sweet Potato Fries were standard but could've been crispier. Overall, food was basic bar bites, but nothing I would go back for. On the positive side, the waiters were all quick and helpful! The inside is also very lively and nice and a great spot if you're looking to watch a sports game and drink with buddies. read more

This review is geared towards the Anytime Billiards X Chef Ji-Sun collab. The event closely followed the other Anytime X Ji-Sun collabs, and all previous collabs were priced at 120$ pp. This event was the same, and the description included didn't say this event wasn't a food-centric event, unlike the others. It stated that this was a tasting, along with having other events, and since it was priced similarly, I, and many others, believed it to be an extension of the other events. For this event, we were required to pay in advance, and there were no walk-ins accepted. Anytime Billiards knew the number of people coming to this event, and with that, I would think they'd be able to guarantee everyone some of chef's food. Unfortunately, we found out that the food wouldn't be ready to be served for a few hours, and that this was simply a tasting where not everyone would be able to try the chefs food. In fact, the money that was paid was primarily for a Q&A with the chef, along with seeing her make her special sugar basi. I would say most of the group ended up eating popcorn, chips, fries, and some chicken wings. For $120 per head. A terribly organized event, and also terribly communicated. I'm disappointed that this was the result, especially since the restaurant had a full count of the number of people attending, which should've made it much easier to guarantee everyone can try chefs' food. And the staff didn't seem to know what was happening either. This event felt truly like a money grab, and I'm quite disappointed in what happened here. read more

I read some good reviews from people about "Anytime" but maybe I went to the wrong one (apparently there's another one in ktown too). This review based on the food since we went there during lunch hour, after spending time at DMV we were starving and while walking towards ktown, I saw this place so we stopped by, we ordered the popcorn chicken cupbop and Bulgogi cupbop. The portion was ok, generous on meat which was great. The meat were marinated well, it's too bad that they added Mayo sauce under the meat. At the end that Mayo took over the entire taste of the food which was sad. It's just my personal taste I guess. The service was great, fast and friendly, but again we were the only one there. The place is spacious and clean for sure. I'm pretty sure it's great place to hang out since there are pool tables on the back of the restaurant. read more

This place was quite the find! We were in the city to watch the UConn game at MSG. Unfortunately, the Husky bars were packed to capacity. We didn't think we'd get in anywhere since Santa Con was also happening that day. Our group of 6 happened upon Anytime and they weren't packed to the gills. They have several pool tables, darts, and a punching bag machine. We had a few drinks but needed food. Anytime has adult combo meals. We ended up with the one that included 2 cupbops, Mac and cheese bites, 2 drafts and a rice wine. It was surprisingly good! Not only that, it was only $50. Such an amazing deal. The portion sizes were nice and we were impressed at the high quality of the food. It was bar food to feel good about, as weird as that sounds. We were so lucky to find the place. A great place to hang out afterwork with drinks, food, and billiards! I didn't get a chance to play billiards, but I can speak on the food and drinks. First off we love a cocktail that can put on a show. Their bubble cocktails are a must! A fog machine gun blows a bubble on top of the cocktail and when it pops, fog is released and flows from the drink. Their floral cocktails are also gorgeous as flowers petals are frozen in the actual ice cube! For the food, they have a great selection of bar snacks, which are perfect to much on. The must-try items are the onion ring tower, chicken katsu, and lemon cream shrimp. These are lightly battered and fried perfectly to a crisp golden brown. It was basically empty around 2:30pm on a Sunday. We were given the pool balls and promptly started playing. The place is super chill, has a bar in the front, and also serves food; I can see this being a good hangout spot with large groups. We had a good time overall; my main issue was the automatic 20% tip that was added. We hadn't ordered anything additional and our "waiter" never came by after handing us the pool balls. What is the tip for? We had virtually no interaction with any staff there. I think they should reconsider the automatic tip or make that mandatory for large parties. read more

Came here looking for a chill spot to play pool. Pool was pretty expensive, I was quoted $33/hr for two people after 6pm. Unfortunately they had weak pours for their cocktails; got the rose lemonade which was $18 and it was mainly juice, very sweet. The toughest part of the experience was the music. It was very loud especially for a Monday night with so few people in the bar, and they kept cranking up the volume. If mainstream trap music from 2014-2016 is your vibe, you will be set. You wouldn't expect a billiards place to have delicious food, but this one stands out because it's owned by the same folks who own Anytime, a popular Korean restaurant nearby in K-town. The space itself feels pretty luxe, with purple velvet curtains making way to a a sleek dining area and billiard space. For a pool hall, the place feels somewhat upscale, which I appreciate in contrast to the usual sticky pool halls I've been to. The price per hour is comparable to other pool halls in the city. The food menu is largely standard pool hall/sports bar grub, like mozzarella sticks, wings, and fries, but they have some surprise items like burrata, chicken sandwiches, and flatbread. I ordered a flatbread with sunchokes and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Sunchokes with bread and cheese was an excellent combo that I was encountering for the first time here. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were also surprisingly good. They have a full bar and drink specials, but their drink menu stands out to me for their Korean drinks, including my favorite makgeolli brand, Makku. Enjoying my favorite beverage with interesting and well executed bites made this pool experience top notch. read more
