He chose not to call, prompting me to write this review. As part of my visit on 9/24, before the cleaning I specifically went there for, the dental assistant performed a gum charting exercise (if not familiar, it's an easy Google lookup to describe what the charting numbers mean). For each tooth, she read out to her assistant 4s and 5s. A 12 year old failing implant had a much higher reading I'm sure was accurate. Dr. Noll told me I need a deep-cleaning to the tune of approximately $600...I subsequently saw my periodontist a few days later to evaluate the old implant. He performed another charting that revealed 2s and 3s. I then asked if I'd benefit from a deep cleaning, and I guess because of professional courtesies between doctors, he reluctantly told me I won't benefit from the procedure. It was the difference between what I was told at this appointment and what my periodontist said that led me to move on.

I told the front office that we recently had a terrible experience at a chain dentist. The dental assistant talked with me about it and asked me if there was anything specific they could do for my son to make him feel more comfortable and less nervous. The dentist came in, showed me x-rays and exactly what was going on, then discussed the plan of action. There was no hustle or hurrying us out the door. The dentist wasted 15 minutes bragging about their "superior" practice before suggesting additional exams, vaguely insisting I "needed this and that". I asked for a written treatment plan--nothing was provided. When I requested the advertised basic cleaning, they denied it and pushed upgrades, slapping on two $30 upcharges for extra testing and a "deeper" cleaning I never requested. Felt pressured, shady, and unprofessional; I left ripped off. Avoid at all costs--zero stars.
