Bottom line: They lure you in with a special and then try to get you to buy more services than you need. I will never go back there. I do not trust this practice. The procedure cost me $1800 and I was told that I needed surgery on another tooth, which would be about $4500! After contacting my insurance, I found Pinnacle and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gamba. He informed me that I didn't need the surgery and that he could retreat an old root canal for about $700 in total! Before the procedure, the DA, Mike, provided me with both water and tissues and discussed how the retreatment would progress. He asked about any anxiety or concerns that I had and was truly interested in how they could make this experience as comfortable as possible. During the procedure, both Dr. Gamba and Mike constantly inquired about my comfort level. They acted as "dental coaches," giving both encouragement and the time span for each step of the retreatment. I was truly surprised at how the breakdown of the procedure made the time go by faster! I have never written a review of this type but, while I hope to avoid Dr. Gamba and Mike in the near future, I will definitely return with it's necessary!!!
