What a cute setup, I really like the small camper outfitted for Dodo's fresh-made mini donut…read morebusiness! Their donut maker is small, looks to plop out 4 donuts at a time from the small maker machine, but the gentleman was on a perpetual loop of dropping and tossing the minus on a small racked pan for drying. And believe me people, those suckers being sold in groups of 4, they weren't on the cooling rack for more than 3 seconds before being tossed in the flavoring getup and drizzled if appropriate. For my 8 for $7, I picked Lemon Blueberry and PBJ. I'm a big peanut butter fan, so I was a bit bummed there wasn't more than the small drizzle of that. The jelly powder was good, but kinda overpowered the nut butter; note to self. The lemon blueberry was quite good - not too much, I could definitely taste the batter dough rings, which btw have a great flavor on their own. Not bland, not overly sweet, I wish they had a cinnamon & sugar donut on constant rotation, as the simpleness I bet would be amazing! Heads up! Dodo Donuts does not have order ahead capabilities, so it's first come, first serve. They also do not have a website. They are at different functions around town, so I'd say follow their Facebook page for the most up to date info.

I believe it was about $11 for 12 mini donuts. It was a little expensive in my opinion, but I love supporting small businesses and the donuts were delicious! The employees were also super friendly and I didn't mind the splurge for my first time! You'll probably only come across this trailer at fairs or farmer's markets, so be on the lookout for their next location and try them when you get the chance!

The menu when I stopped by recently at the Pearl Alley Market was limited to just three sandwiches: turkey bahn mi, ham and swiss, and their 21 day reserve corned beef. I had been kind of in the mood for a ruben even before I saw the cart, so it was like a sign from above. Corned beef it was. And boy was it delicious. Cut fairly thick, the sandwich had a hearty (but not obnoxious) measure of meat. It was griddled so that the cheese melted and held everything together. I opted for a roll instead of the rye bread on the menu. I'm not sure where they source the bread, but it was excellent with a nice crust and softer interior bite. The quality of the corned beef was top notch, some of the best I've had recently. I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. Nor would I hesitate to seek them out elsewhere. According to the operator of the cart, they also have a breakfast menu which they're currently serving on Saturdays at the Clintonville Farmers market. Some of the things he described as on the menu were quite enticing. All in all? A fantastic new addition to Columbus.

They cure the meats at their commissary. The egg was cooked to my specs. Very very tasty and nicely presented in a bowl. That's a good idea since it could have been messy. Only negative. I think you need better forks. Your's are flimsy and didn't work well. I'm a big fan.

Although it was too early in the morning for all the stores to be open, it is a lovely, cute, quaint place. The food stalls looked wonderful and they even had a little gift section. A Perfect Day at North Market: Vibrant Atmosphere and Excellent Food…read more My husband and I stopped by North Market near the Arena District today while exploring Columbus, and it was an excellent experience. With a volleyball tournament taking place at the Convention Center, the market was absolutely hopping! The atmosphere was electric, filled with a lively buzz and wonderful aromas wafting from the various food stalls. We split up to try different vendors: I grabbed a meal at Colo Market and Oyster Bar, while my husband got his at Pastaria. Both choices were fantastic, delivering on flavor and quality. Beyond the great food, the ambiance was perfect for people-watching, capturing the energy of the district on a busy day. Whether you're a local or just visiting Columbus, North Market is a must-include on your itinerary. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a vibrant setting.
