I have been going to May's since she took over the business from the previous proprietor. (Over 10+…read moreyears) She has altered both my daughter's many prom dresses and hemmed pants for me. I have no problem communicating with her and she is able to converse just fine in English. She'll even collaborate with you and offer her opinion on what would look best. Her place is a bit chaotic when you enter and she appears quite busy with many orders. She has always been courteous and professional and her prices are so affordable. The turnaround time for simple alterations (hemming) is in a week. For more complicated alterations, I would recommend allowing time for adjustments which she is happy to do until you are satisfied.

Did they close?!?! Atmosphere - Small local business. Limited metered street parking. Open 6 days a week; closed Wednesdays. Service - Good, easy in and out. Drop off, and pick up a month later. Yes, they are busy. Price - $28 to replace a zipper on one of my wife's purses. Owner Comment - Not sure how long you have been here, but we (my wife and I) have been customers for almost 20 years. :)

She amended the waistband to be tighter and shortened the dress while maintaining the flow and comfort of the dress. 2. My after party dress had a beaded skirt and jila carefully shortened it. Fit perfectly. 3. Lastly, my Kim Kassas wedding dress!! Its ruffled mermaid tail is what made it beautiful. I do not have a body shape that can wear "off the rack" dresses, but Mo designed me a dress that fit me like a glove, highlighted my best features, and still felt incredibly comfortable. All my friends and family raved over how beautiful my dress was. In addition to a great eye for design and fit, Mo's handiwork was meticulous. Both the exterior dress and lining were finished to perfection. Mo also made a custom suit for one of the bridal party, and it was also tailored to perfection. She looked like a million bucks in her suit! Throughout the process, Mo very carefully explained the design options and "next steps" thoroughly. I always felt reassured that Mo understood the type of dress I wanted. Working with Mo was a collaborative process (with Mo offering suggestions to vastly improve on my initial ideas).
