I actually did not get a haircut, but feel the need to comment on the kindness of their staff, especially from Stephanie Recio, a licensed barber, and another young man, whose name I did not note down. The shop was very busy, but the young man kindly permitted me, a non-customer, to use their bathroom, which he did not have to do. I had a tire blow out on 242 and perhaps he could tell, I was still shaken from that. After having given me the key and the direction how to find the bathroom, I had difficulties with using the facility, due to lighting issues, As I went back to the shop, Stephanie was already coming towards me, as she was concerned, that I may have difficulty there. She went back with me, waited for me, and then returned with me to the shop. Wow, what a kind young lady. My barber Stephanie used to work at a different shop in the area but in the middle of the pandemic moved to this shop so naturally like any good client I followed her to Sharp. I used to go to the original location in Lafayette so coming here was already a natural fit. Place has a great vibe. Everyone there is welcoming and more than ready to help. Second shop for the Sharp crew. It's a vintage, oak-y feel (well that could be the whiskey too) that isn't replicated other than by the first shop in Lafayette. A bit easier to access for those east bay haircuts that have been leaning to leave brentwood/oakley area looking for a cut they won't find anywhere else. And it's not because I'm a customer I say that... But it's because I kick back and watch some of the new clients that come in. Just yesterday someone from San Bruno got a cut.. SAN BRUNO.
