Boy was I glad I did that. It was some of the nicest customer service. I met the owner, Dave, who is just incredibly helpful and talking me through all the different components gave me a little test drive demonstration. Showed me a lot of the ins and outs in order to make sure I don't snap belts and just good solid advice. You never would've gotten that kind of professional courtesy from the big box stores. Plus machine had a great warranty and was solid customer service nearby. Just really nice salt of the earth people. I'm positive mowing these fields is going to be very peaceful experience. All of the lovely artwork on the towels is done by Mary and her daughter and made in Oroville, California. 5 stars for service! The two women who were working here were extremely helpful in showing me choices for a cheese spreader. I didn't find my perfect match but my husband and I both found lovely gifts for each other to remind us of our trip to Mount Shasta. My husband's was a cool, double walled stainless steel mug with artwork of Mount Shasta by local artist, Cailin Henson. The special addition on this was a red carabiner which does double duty as a "handle" and an attachment. My gift was a pretty 2 cup ceramic teapot in sage green with a stainless steel filter. Both are from a British company- Price and Kensington. If you're looking for gifts for yourself or someone else while shopping in Mount Shasta, be sure to make a stop here. If they could find something it would likely be $80 to $100 for the part and would have to order it. Having done business with Aaron (Grants Pass Power Equipment Repair) in the past I gave his shop a try on an off chance he might have something or an idea how to fix it. I should have gone to Aaron first stop!!! He looked a couple part numbers up and said hold on a second. Shortly after he returned with a new exhaust that was almost an identical match. As he thought about what he should charge he sold it to me for $20!! As I tried to explain I had no problem paying more because I knew what it had to be worth, he said no $20 was fine. I stopped trying to argue the amount and paid. Thanking him very much for always coming through when I needed a repair or like this a hard to find part and an AWESOME and beyond a great price!!!!!
