My hands down favorite taco spot in all of LA!!…read more I've been coming here since they were actually on Avenue 26 lol but I'm happy they found this big spot in Little Tokyo to call home. The tacos are amazing and I like how all of the salsas and toppings are self serve. Service is super quick and they accept card and Apple Pay. No tables but eating on your car hood is the true LA experience and correct way to eat here!!

I really…read moreappreciate that they're open 24/7 every day, so I can visit any hour I'm craving tacos in LA. The first time I went on a weekday in the middle of the day, so it was super empty and not the best because nothing was being made fresh- the meats and potatoes were kind of just sitting in bins so although the flavor was there, the cooled down temperatures really affected the taste. HOWEVER, I visited a few more times after that, these times all late at night, which really turned my experience around. I think at those times there were a lot more people and long lines, so everything was being made fresh and it being hot just made the food taste so so much better. I love how the toppings are all self-serve, and the hot potato is my favorite side. Carne asada, lengua, and al pastor are my go-tos. You'll want to add hellaaa green sauce to everything- I could literally drink that stuff straight. Love the big easy parking lot here, I'll mention that I saw a few security people checking all the cars and plates so I wouldn't recommend trying to park here and walk somewhere else!

This taco truck is seriously a hit. The tacos were flavorful, especially the al pastor with…read morepineapple, which wasn't greasy at all and had a really nice balance. The lengua was the standout though! Soo velvety and cooked perfectly. The tortillas are a little hard to describe... kind of on the thicker side but still soft? Not bad, just noticeable. Only downside was the champurrado. It was lukewarm instead of hot (I personally like it piping hot), and it had some thick film pieces like it hadn't been stirred in a while. I wish they had mixed it better and reheated it. Big plus: there's plenty of parking, which makes stopping by super easy. Overall, definitely worth it for the tacos alone.

I came on a Sunday afternoon with a friend after a long hike, getting two Al Pastor tacos, their specialty, and a single Asada (each taco $2.30). The tacos were small (see photo) but decent. While I found them slightly dry there's flavor there, but definitely needed the acidity and moisture of the added onions and salsa. The Pastor was decent with more flavor while the asada was fairly bland. We also got a Horchata ($4) which was good, not too sweet, but not extraordinary. Despite being reasonably busy the service was quite fast, about 4-5 minutes. Value, prices above, was quite good but not extraordinary given the small size of the tacos and good but not extraordinary quality. I will defer on the ambiance as this is a taco truck in a parking lot, but it seemed clean enough. Overall Leo's is not worth a detour but brings a cheap, respectable taco worth a stop if you're hungry and need a fix quickly. Food: 4/5 Service / Speed: 4.5/5 Value: 4.5/5

Once you eat here you'll never go anywhere else. The tacos. The torta. The burrito. I should have reviewed months and months ago because I'm here once a week and keep coming back. The seasonings or the way they cook - the flavors and textures are better than a lot of other places I've had tacos from. I got two carne asada and two al pastor tacos. Total as of early 9/2025 was just $10 for four tacos! We came here on a weeknight a little before they were packing up for the night, so the vibe was chill. They also have a good spread of salsas and a DIY fresh toppings area. I just found this taco stand in East Hollywood because I was leaving a comedy show and it was on the later side. Most places were either closed or closing. Saw this place and it seemed perfect for a quick bite that wasn't a big strain on the wallet. Maybe there's more of a line on the weekends, but if not, this is the type of spot where I wouldn't be surprised if there's a constant line at some point.
