We were so excited about the Middle Eastern food truck from Shawarma House. This was our first try for shawarma. I got the spicy chicken ($9.99 each) and my hubby the beef. We were a little disappointed with the size and flavor. Spicy chicken wasn't really spicy. It had some seasoning, but I wanted to be wowed I guess. I wasn't. It was also a bit dry. My hubby didn't enjoy the beef much either. He felt onion overwhelmed the meat seasoning. Overall, for the price - won't be a regular stop unfortunately. I wanted it to be an awesome experience and new go to place. The pluses- Service was friendly at the window and fairly fast as well. I wish them luck in the location because it's nice to have food trucks nearby.

Stopped by to pick up food for the family. I'm glad I did! The place itself is small, but clean. They do have a good amount of seating inside. Staff was all very kind. The food is clearly made fresh because it did take about 15 minutes to get my food after I placed the order. I ordered two different combo platters to try different meats along with a side of falafel and tabouli. All of the different meats were incredible and very juicy/well cooked. The rice was well seasoned and cooked appropriately. The hummus and baba ghanoush on the sides were also very flavorful. The tabouli was extremely fresh and even lasted a couple days in the fridge. The falafel was very well cooked. My biggest complaint and honestly only complaint, is that when you order falafel no sauce comes with it. Their sauces are kind of expensive and with this type of food the sauce is absolutely necessary. I would definitely come back but just mentally prepared to pay a lot of money for sauce on the side.

I look forward to every trip to Shawarma House. I always get the Beef Shawarma in the laffa wrap. It is delicious. The food is well-prepared and consistently good. I will be back soon.

Im just going to say this about this place. BIG FAN. I love a place that gives you a ton of food and they deliver. It helps when the food is also delicious. The place itself is clean and has a cool color contrast inside. They served me right when I got in and got me in and out with my food to go. Cheers!

I called for takeout and was told to hold on. I think they just set the phone down and forgot about me. I called back two or three minutes later and no one said anything I could hear people talking in the background and was either put on hold or disconnected. I called back a third time and was able to place my order. The new menu item is labeled as "lamb chops" which is commonly confused with Rack of lamb. The pictures on the menu and on the restaurant wall shows sliced lamb, ribs, "rack of lamb". It is lamb chops. It was very overcooked. I watched them cook it. The lobby was freezing cold. I was told for my take out order, " ready in 15, 20,...30 minutes". I arrived 15 minutes later and was told "ready in 5, 10, 15 minutes." I waited 20 minutes more. The person cooking my food came to the lobby/dining room, sat down on a bench and began praying. I have no problem with this other than the fact that my food was extremely overcooked. Lamb was extremely salty and overcooked. The Israeli salad was wilted and not fresh at all. Needs some major work.

Very clean inviting place. More modern look. More seating space inside than I thought. The chicken had a unique flavor and was very filling! The service was fast and friendly. All of our questions were answered and the food was brought to our table after we ordered.

We stopped here after a hike out in Kettle Moraine - we were hungry! There were six adults, two of them were hungry college students. It was a Saturday evening and there was plenty of parking outside. We walked in and looked at the menu and ended up ordering the giant platter for 6 people, which includes 3 kinds of meat, rice, salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, falafels, garlic sauce, tahini, hot sauce, and pita bread. Without seeing how much it would be, I wasn't sure if it would be enough, but we ended up going home with leftovers and everyone had plenty to eat. You place an order up at the front with the desk, then sit down. They brought our food over when it was ready (but there are no servers). I noticed that there were a brisk number of to-go orders, and a few patrons were sitting down. The rice was tasty, we all liked the falafels, and the chicken. It was a good amount of food and a good, tasty meal. I remembered to take photos after we already started digging in, but this gives an idea of what the tray looked like and get an idea of the quantity. The decor and atmosphere was a little sparse; it could use a little warming up a little. I'd come here again.

First time coming here! Items we got were very good and very flavorful. All around an affordable stop for quality food. Service is via counter cashier so it is very quick and casual. Some background music would do this place great! We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and the quiet made holding a conversation feel a bit odd. All around though, would get food from here again.

Love stopping here when we are looking something different. We got the Shawarma platter and falafel. The staff was great and brought out the food. It was pretty busy for it being 3 o'clock which was good to see.

This was the first time that I have been to this place and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was so fresh and delicious, also didn't have to wait long for it. You can dine in or pick up to take home. They give you a generous amount of food, so much that I have dinner for tomorrow night! They an excellent selection for vegetarian meals and can also have gluten free, just ask them to hold the pita bread. I chose the falafel with basmati rice, hummus, salad and I also had a side of babaganoush. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. Others had the Gyros plate and chicken sandwich Everyone was happy and left the restaurant with their leftovers in a container. They of course had baklava which I'm sure was delicious but I was full. The staff was so nice and friendly and attentive to everyone. Highly recommend this restaurant!

My second best spot for chicken wraps. Good favoring, not just plain grilled chicken. Good service. Reasonable prices. For some reason they cut the sandwich into smaller pieces. Not sure how I feel about that. The fries are top notch. I could go and just get fries. But I would miss the tasty meats.

Is this like Halal Guys? I am looking for an item similar to the Halal Guys Chicken Gyro platter.

It's similar, yes. I recently ordered their All Inn Shawarma, which I would say is similar to the chicken gyro platter.

I honestly wished the beef kebab would've been more tender so I could have eaten it since the flavor on it was so delicious. I just hope that they get more than one server working and also go back to their old meat vendor as soon as possible.

We would have liked to try a couple of the appetizers, but then we would have risked filling up and not having enough room for the entrées. We decided on the Great Greek Gyro and the Combo Souvlaki Plate with lamb and tenderloin. We also ordered the Feta Fries. After a short wait, the food was delivered to our table. Everything was well presented, and the hot items were served at a good temperature. The Feta Fries were well seasoned, crispy, and topped with a generous amount of cheese. I think there may have been mozzarella along with the feta. Super yummy. The salad that came with the Souvlaki Plate was fresh and had a plentiful assortment of vegetables. The meats were well seasoned and served in nice-sized portions. The tenderloin was medium rare, just as I requested, although some of the lamb pieces were slightly overcooked, but still tasty. The gyro my wife ordered was a very large portion, with tender and flavorful meat. The additional vegetables and tzatziki sauce were both generously portioned as well. There were plenty of leftovers to take home. Service: There were several people helping behind the counter: a couple of young ladies taking orders and running food, along with another person, possibly the manager or owner, assisting with additional questions. They were super helpful with my Souvlaki Plate order and suggested trying the combo option. They also offered us a complimentary sample of one of their new refreshers. The cucumber mint flavor was delicious. Atmosphere: It's located in a small strip mall, but the interior is nicely laid out. There are lots of large windows bringing in natural light. The smaller tables can easily be pushed together for larger groups, and there are also umbrella tables outside in front. The noise level was comfortable and allowed for easy conversation. A good spot if you are looking for tasty Greek food.

When I'm in the Brookfield area shopping I prefer to make a stop here. I love Mediterranean style food so it hits the spot! Details below are all positive. No complaints. 1. Food I ordered a falafel bowl with plenty of fresh toppings. Everything tasted very fresh. As always the vegetables were crisp. Please get the pickles they add a nice flavor. I ordered a pita on the side, instead of a sandwich because I feel you get more for leftovers! Lol! The pita was soft and so good! The falafel itself tasted freshly made and had a good texture. Not too crumbly or stiff. I did take off one star because they had some type of Moroccan red sauce and the staff members were unable to let me know if there was dairy in the sauce and there were no details of the sauce on their allergen card displayed near the food. 2. Service The service was fast and straightforward. The staff was kind and efficient. They didn't wow me or respond with "my pleasure" after every request/question but their kindness was exactly what you want in a build your own type of restaurant. 3. Price and Process The pricing is reasonable. I would compare it to a Qdoba or Chipotle. Anywhere from $10-15 depending on what you select and add. They're set up very similar as well. Tell them your entree, pick your base, veggies, and sauces. They have fries too but I don't go there for fries! 4. Cleanliness & Atmosphere Overall, the restaurant looked fine. Nothing stood out as overly impressive and I didn't have any concerns either. The trash was a little full, but they were busy when I visited. There was an entire basketball team dining inside with a coach bus parked out front. That's probably why the trash was full. Now, to answer your question. Yes! I would absolutely return! Next time I day shop in the area I will get another bowl! And yes you should visit as well. I'm mean if you're tired of fast food burgers and burrito bowls and want something quick and fresh! Go! It's probably the closest thing we have to CAVA here in Wisconsin. It's worth trying.

I would order the mixed grill that the menu states 1 lamb kofta, 1 lamb of kebab, 0skewer chicken shish tawook , bed of rice and a side of Jerusalem salad and hummus. I love lamb. I thought it was weird that the mixed grill had lamb kabobs and lamb kofta when these items are no where on the menu and lamb chops were the only lamb on the menu, let's go for it. The plate looked amazing and they got most of the dish correctly with the salad and hummus being cold and the grilled meat and rice being warm. The hummus was delicious but I wish the grilled meat dishes came with some sort of bread to dip in it. The salad was minimal with cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce in a vinaigrette dressing. The rice was cooked past Al dente but not total mush with a nice curry flavor and good. The lamb kabob had a nice beefy/grilled flavor, it was not a lamb kabob that I was served but a beef kabob. The lamb kofta was a moist flavorful beef kofta and not lamb like the menu states. The chicken kabob was moist/flavorful with small grilled flavor and the only correct grilled meat that the menu states. Overall the food was very good that I drove all the way out to Brookfield for a specific grilled lamb dish that ended up being a beef dish was very disappointing, I should have known better when the two lamb items were not even on the menu. I don't know if this was an honest mistake or they thought I wouldn't know the difference because of ethnicity or were they out of lamb that day and who knows. The Mexican butcher had an attitude from the moment I said hello -- short answers, no eye contact, just slapping meat on the scale like I was bothering him. When I got to the register, the total didn't match the prices on the tags. I politely pointed it out, thinking it was probably just a mistake. Instead of checking or apologizing, he got defensive immediately, insisting the price was correct even though the tag clearly said otherwise. When I pushed back and asked him to double check, he raised his voice, started talking over me, and acted like I was accusing him of something criminal instead of just asking a simple question. Other customers in line were visibly uncomfortable. I ended up paying just to get out of there, but I've lost this shop as a customer for good. I'd genuinely warn anyone nearby to be careful with this place -- between the attitude and the pricing discrepancy, it's not worth the hassle. No matter how good the meat is, that kind of treatment and lack of honesty isn't something I'm willing to put up with again.

I have newly moved to the Milwaukee area from Metro Detroit (home to the largest Arab population outside of the Middle East) and therefore not only did I grow up with great food our restaurant options have always been elite. If I seem nitpicky I'm sorry but let's get to it! I got the mixed grill plate, Turkish salad, and a lentil soup. Highlights: the shish tawook was perfect, juicy, not over cooked, the kafta loaded with flavors, the hummus was solid, I loved the bed of rice it was on, and the soup delicious... "so T, what happened to the half star?" This is where I might be overly critical... the chopped veggie salad was in dire need of salt, or consider dressing it with the jalapeño mix that was on the hummus. The Turkish salad put me in quite a conundrum... was it delicious? Oh hell ya, was it spicy? Yes (inject it my veins), so what's the issue? My issue here was just that it wasn't a salad. It was an excellent salsa, but I didn't have chips to eat it with and this isn't a "salad" you can eat by itself. If they had fried the Arabic bread and seasoned it like the fattoush chips and gave me a bag of it with the Turkish salad that might be the greatest combo known to Milwaukee. Finally, the only true criticism of this place, the beef kabobs... flavor was amazing, it was tender too but it was severely overcooked. I don't blame the restaurant because as an Lebanese person I grew up with way too many over cooked bbqs and aunts and uncles thinking red meat was blood despite eating kibbee nayee (beef tartar-Lebanese style) but if that had two minutes less on the grill it might have the holy grail of mixed grill plates. All of this to say I was very impressed, Milwaukee has some good spots and I wasn't sure what to expect when I moved here but this place does it for me, will probably make it a rotational spot
