Came here on New Year's Day with my boys and husband. My husband ordered a bunch of different things. The vibe is fast casual. There are plenty of tables and high chairs. We got falafel bites, chicken shawarma, side of rice, chicken with hummus and chicken strips with cheese fries for the kids. All of it was good! I loved the falafel bites. Those were my favorite. The staff and food here are great. I wish they had more lamb options is my only regret. But chicken and beef are good. We order online a lot, and the food is always on time. Too bad the flavors are weak to middling. The hummus and babe ghanoush were standard. The best item was the grilled chicken skewers. The weakest item was the beef shawarma; dry and flavorless. When eating Mediterranean food, you want the tastes to be strong and popping. I probably should have written my review earlier. Now I don't quite remember the name of the dishes. However I did remember their chicken was the best. It had good flavor and will definitely order the chicken again. You go up to the counter and order the food. The service was pretty fast. They have a self-serve drink station which was nice. Beats the pants off of Casablanca across the street! We've enjoyed the Greenfield Shawarma House several times and tried to stop here a few weeks back but they weren't open (though according to their website, they should have been). Today we were lucky and they were open. The interior is casual and was very, very clean. I'm serious - all of the surfaces were spotless and so was the kitchen which is open to the dining room. The Mister had his favorite spicy chicken plate and I had hummus with shawarma which is a giant mound of hummus with fresh sliced chicken or lamb shawarma. This would be a great dish to share if you're coming with a group. I loved my food but wish you could have the spicy chicken in place of the shawarma because it's just so good! You can order right through the Yelp app, which makes ordering and exploring the menu easy +We arrived to find our meal ready on time and their interior impeccably clean +We got a small order of baklava, which comes with a nice assortment. It doesn't appear to be made in house, but it is delish! +Their portions are plentiful! My classmates suggest shawarma house as a good restaurant for middle eastern food. My partner and I got the all inn grill with hummus and the all in shawarma with babaganouj. I thought the food was okay. It was also cold by the time we got the food home and we forgot to order the tahini and hot sauces. We were used to eating shawarma off halal carts in nyc and we thought that the sauces would come free with the entrees but we were mistaken. The hummus and babaganouj were really good. The salad was bland, but you can taste the mint(?) in it which was a nice kick. The shawarma platter was a bit dry and a bit bland (why we miss the sauces) but the kebabs were pretty good (although also a bit bland). The rice was also a nice pairing for the meats. The portion is also pretty big for me! I was super full but my partner said that he was probably only 65% full after finishing the entire platter + pita. As for the price, I think the all in shawarma is more worth the money! Although the all inn grill was filling, I thought that they could've put more of the chicken kebab. The other kebabs were of mixed meats, kind of like sausage. The next time we try this place, we'll probably dine in so the food is hot and I'll most likely try one of the sandwiches. read more

We love coming to Shawarma house and God knows we have endlessly ordered from here during 2020. Food has been always been upto great standards. My favorites are spicy chicken and chicken shawarma, hummus and sometimes Baba ganoush; I also order some extra garlic sauces and it's really yum! They do delivery as well so it has been amazing to get delicious food during the pandemic! Their service is super quick so I love that. Usually there isn't a big queue from what I remember pre Covid times. The most recent order I placed, i indulged in some sweet delicious Baklawa and it's gonna be an add on for future orders :) They are decently priced. Some items are more reasonable than others but the food is delicious and you won't mind spending couple extra bucks if you need to. read more

Ordered carry out from here because I knew I was going to be in the area for an eye appointment and was craving some baba ghanouj. I ordered the all inn chicken shawarma plate. It comes with a good portion of food-- rice, chicken, a side (I got the baba ghanouj), salad, and pita bread. Wow! The chicken was so flavorful and so tender without being too greasy. The baba ghanouj here is also delicious-- perfectly smoky and again, not super greasy/drenched in oil. The rice here is also amazing! I love that it's not mushy and perfectly seasoned. The food here is really fresh, and they are very timely with the orders. I did wait a min or two for my order, but definitely prefer this over food sitting out and going cold. I look forward to coming here more in the future and would love to try some of their other items like their sandwiches! read more

I met a friend for dinner at the shawarma house. Honesty it wasn't what I was expecting. From seeing it advertised I expected it to be more of a sit down and having a server at the table type of environment. Instead when you walk in there is a large board, such as a fast food restaurant would have that listed all of your options and you order at the counter. It wa my first time there and the employee could tell I was a newb. He helped recommend a dish for me, based on knowing I liked spicy food he recommended the spicy chicken plate. There is a soda station where you also grab your plastic silverware. We sat down without a number, and the employee brought us out food about 10 minutes later. We were a little surprised when the food came out on a styrofoam plate. My friend ordered the falafel plate. I thought the food was good, although there were no stand out flavors to me. I enjoy shawarma, but I'm not sure I would feel compelled to go back over trying other shawarma restaurants. That being said, I wouldn't purposely not go back. Had them as a food service at a market today. They were supposed to be there from 12-4pm. It was about 1:30pm and they decided to pack up and leave. When we asked why they were leaving their response was "we were expecting 800+ people to show up, to be busy". There were people asking for food while they decided to leave. With the nasty attitude and rude comments you could hear while they threw out all the food they had... it was hard to watch. But I think the cherry on the cake was when they dumped all their coals in front of the shops who were hosting the market. With kids running around... they couldn't be courteous enough to find a garbage. In conclusion, food was okay but, don't hire them for any outings, unless you want issues and for them to bail. Third time to the House that Shawarma built- it's an nice alternative to the other mundane choices near by! It's mostly just fair due to the meats mainly being over done and dried out all three times here. They seem to try and get ahead of any rush they may have by precooking and storing the shawarma while the Kofta is cooked fresh but still over done each time. The usual sides have always been very good, hummus, Jerusalem Salad etc... all consistent. Prices for the portions are a bit high and the time to get served is atypical for a "fast" Persian food place which are often freak fast! Middle Eastern fast food in the suburbs sounds impossible but this place is a couple blocks from my work. I called ahead and they said "you can pick up in five minutes". Hello awesome quick amazing food! I went to pick up and waited a minute or so for the mixed grill combo. It was such a decision between this and the shawarma platter (which I will do next time). Service was prompt and very polite. For $9 you get this big platter of food plus a drink. I don't drink soda so they gave me a bottled water instead. Fast forward to me eating at work.....OMG! They didn't dumb down the spices for the kabobs and kept it at a moderate heat. The serving was very generous and there was no possible way to eat all of it in one sitting. Bonus! They deliver so I gave our admins who handle lunch ordering a menu so that I can get something different for lunch meetings. There is a few restaurants in Brookfield and Wauwatosa that I have been waiting to open and it looks like all of them have officially opened and I hit shawarma house first. I usually have to go to the far south side of Milwaukee to get good middle eastern food so this location is very welcome. The place is in a strip mall so parking is no problem. When I walked in I noticed most of the people were middle eastern looking people so I was in the right place. The place is nice looking with marble looking floors and dark brick walls, dark tables and chairs with high ceilings in a narrow space. The menu is interesting but I would have one dish the all in grill to sample many items in one dish. I ordered take out because I kept hearing how the second part of the storm is coming and my car smelled amazing on the ride home. The all in grill is beef Kafta kabab, spicy chicken, chicken koobidah, basmati rice, Jerusalem salad, hummus, bread and one falafel which is a nice cross section of the menu. Where to start with all this goodness so let's go with the rice that was tasty with great texture and not coked to mush. The Jerusalem salad was crisp/cold with a bright citrus finish. The falafel was tasty with a crunchy shell, get the side order people because when that one falafel in the order is gone you will be left wanting more. The pita bread was thin with a nice chew to it and made for a nice vessel to hold the rice, hummus and meat. The spicy chicken was moist and had a delayed spicy finish. The beef and chicken kabab looking strips had good flavor and were not dry on the inside like I have had in the past. I liked the flavorful creamy hummus the best from my dish. Everything was pretty good in the dish and worked well together. Overall the whole all in grill was pretty dam good with everything cooked perfect and nothing dry or over cooked. Everything was fresh and flavorful and exactly what I love about middle eastern food. This is a very welcome addition to the Brookfield area and it's nice to have good places not only downtown or on the east side for a change, great job shawarma house. read more

I have ordered a party of 20. Initially, he said he was going to deliver, but retracted that statement so I had to pick it up. During Pick up, he( Ahmed) missed giving me one item ( Pita Bread). I called the next day and talked to someone else ( other than Ahmed) and he told me to stop by and they will give me my money back ( refund). When I stopped by Ahmed showed his attitude and insinuated that I am lying. No Aology at all. The meat options are very good, and they have an extensive vegetarian menu! The Falafel Plate is my go-to. I'm usually not overly fond of hummus, but theirs is so fresh and delicious, it loudly demands to be gobbled up! The falafel is better than any I've had elsewhere, crispy, fresh, and with the perfect punch of flavor in every bite! And their rice! I could eat the rice here by the bucketful and never tire of it. Ordered for pick up after their announcement that customers who show proof of vaccination can get a 15% discount (great incentive!). I had the "All In" shawarma entree and was disappointed (unfortunately). The meat was very very dry which stripped out the flavor, the side salad was ok, the hummus was very good but I found myself wanting to consistently dunk the meat in the hummus due to how dry the meat was. I do want to return to try other entrees as a redemption; I'll definitely say go for it to support local businesses and support a business that creates incentives to motivate the community to get vaccinated! I'll return to see if other entrees/plates/sandwiches are better. read more

There was a group event when we came in. No clean tables for more customers. Food was ok.

Everytime I order take out they mess up the order ...the food is edible and cheap but if you order take out always check your order before you leave because they have morons working there that forget or mess up orders. Dont go here they have no decent customer service...try Casablanca instead. Seriously the staff is something to be desired Also why the fu*k do they cut the shwarma wraps into small pieces. I hate that and even ask them not to and they can't follow easy directions. read more
