First off.. if you're looking to buy groceries.. there is no price on anything.. I hate going to indian grocery stores, and I'm afraid I might get jip off. Kebab! This place is amazing. The grill is inside the grocery store and everything is made to order. I've had the sandwiches twice now and they are super good, and cheap to boot. I can't think of any other place in town where they grill the meat and make the bread using the same style of cooking, it's fun to watch! Friendly staff and it's never a long wait. I have seen this place getting ready for months to finally open so I was excited to see what it actually was and to my surprise it's a Middle Eastern style menu, nice because it's probably the first one in the area and you usually find them on the south side. This is a take out restaurant only inside an international store with some limited fresh meat, frozen items and lots of dry and packaged items. The menu has some great items so I had look out over for a few minutes before deciding on the Lamb combo, two kinds of Lamb with rice and flat bread sounded really good. The flat bread is rolled out to order and cooked to order which was cool. I have had plenty of mixed grill and rice plates to know that my bag felt light so I just thought it's skimpy. When I opened the box I'm like WTF is this because no rice in the box and that's the whole reason I ordered the combo. I called the place and the guy remembered me and he said he had no rice today and I tell him that's why I ordered the combo and I would have ordered something else if he told me that, he says next time he will give me twice as much. Just be honest if you can't execute a menu item so I can choose something else. After looking the combo over it was 4 kinds of Lamb with two patties, one chop, one Lamb chunks kabob and one ground Lamb Kabab which ended up being a better sampler. WOW what great flavors from all the meats in different flavors and textures. I have to say that ground meat kabab was my favorite with big bold flavors and a little spicy with some heat. The fresh made flat bread was perfect to wrap all the flavorful meats in. This is very simple and so satisfying having tasty meats wrapped in a fresh made flat bread but I was disappointed with not getting the rice I was looking forward to. Not being honest with me about my order definitely cost them some star rating but I have to say that the food was fuc#ing delicious and I would definitely recommend stopping here if you like this style of food. If the rest of the menu is fresh cooked and tasty like my sample was then this is going to be a great addition to the area. read more

It was kinda cool because the Grill is part of the grocery store, which is kind of cool. And I was able to get a rarity for me ... Lamb. It was delicious. My wife had a shawarma that was fantastic. The snacks are delicious, unique items that are tough to find elsewhere. I love the tea selection and spices (I get the crushed ginger/garlic mix) and the staff is always very friendly. It's worth trying the food too, I don't think I've ordered anything that wasn't good. read more

My husband and I tried the shawarma and kebab, and really liked them. It's a good option in the area, I encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and try it. The shawarmas are spicy. I recommend the business to mention it to patrons. My husband really enjoyed them but they were too spicy for me. Another suggestion to the business: it'd be great if one of these two orders came with rice. A (small) portion of rice or another side would complement the orders wonderfully. Mom & pop shop with great Pakistani food. Their pani Puri and Lahore grilled fish are quite good. Food is always freshly made. I loved their fresh carrot juice. For me the highlight was their chai. read more

Ordered goat and veggie biryani, beef kabob, naan, jeera rice and samosas. All amazingly delicious. The person at the counter was very friendly. We ate the biryani for days as the portion size was quite large. I struggle with getting delicious veggie biryani normally, but the one I got from Zaika hit the spot. It was very flavorful, very fresh and had enough kick to satisfy my taste buds. The samosas were literally my favorite as they were very fresh, had a kick to it and pretty big in size. This is a very special Halal market featuring takeout Shawarma made from scratch with all natural ingredients. Seriously the best Shawarma in the world! They even make the pita bread from scratch. Now this may seem unbelievable but honestly I stand by my claim. The food here particularly the kebab rolls are the best I've ever tasted. I would stake a claim that this is the best traditional Pakistani food I've had in the entire country. Partly because the food is made fresh, the paratas were rolled out and cooked I front of us, the meat was moist and tender and perfect cuts, the sauces and condiments were magnificent. Firstly the food prices on their website was at least $7 cheaper than when you actually pay so we got a sticker shock when we picked up the food. We ordered lamp combo, goat curry and goat biriyani. We also ordered a meat platter and a malai chicken. Every dish we ordered was bland, dry and taste less. The biriyani was cooked using ordinary rice instead of basmati rice and the taste was forgettable. Overall too pricy for the quality of food. Not going there again. read more

This place is awesome. I went here off of the two reviews that were already on here and the fact that it's right by my work. The grocery store itself was very cool, with lots of unique international items and cheap bulk spices. I came to get the chicken schwarma wrap and wasn't disappointed at all. They rolled out the pita and cooked it right in front of me. The chicken had incredible spice and was not dry at all. It also came with some vegetables on it (some of them pickled) and was topped off with an amazing garlic mayo. I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

My wife and I stopped in here because we were looking for tea rusks. We didn't know that they had take out food until we got inside. We ended up ordering the chicken combination platter on total impulse. It came with rice and naan bread. I feel it was a mistake to order take out food because now I'll end up addicted to it. Noticed the "halal" sign in front, and we like to explore ethnic food markets, so we stopped. They've been at this location for 2 months, so we were told. This is a middle eastern (Indian/Pakistani) food market with refrigerated and dry goods, a halal butchery and take out food counter. They feature combo and individual plates of many of the favorites we all know. Shwarma is available in a wrap, which I'll try on a future visit. We took out the lamb biryani special of the day and it was really good. Very complex spicing, fair amount of heat and generous portion of tender lamb. The lamb was cooked on the bones, which we removed from the plate. Meat cooked on the bone is more moist and flavorful, so that's a plus. I've read other favorable reviews on other websites, and look forward to trying more of their take out foods. We are happy to welcome this business to our suburb and hope they thrive here. read more
