At first I was skeptical because they didn't have any Kabobs and I'm a man of Kabobs. But After ordering the Chicken Shwarma plate I forgot all about the Kabobs. EVERYTHING WAS SO SO GOOD, I said it several times while I was there that I see why this place got a perfect 5 stars review. I rarely find myself in downtown Worcester, however I had to run to City Hall to get a copy of my birth certificate recently and I parked at a meter near this restaurant. I decided to stop in after I ran my errand and I got some hummus, tabouli and grape leaves to go on a whim- I am so glad I did! When I got home and tasted the food I was happily surprised with how delicious it all was. I am definitely going to make a point to stop in here again soon and try some other items. This is my favorite lunch spot in town. I go at least once a week. The line is usually out the door on a weekday at noon. Charlie, the owner, is very courteous​ and respectful. All of the employees will make recommendations for you if you've never tried Lebanese cuisine before. My favorite is the beef plate. It has a good mix of everything tasty. 1st time in and not one person in the place at noon on a Monday. Not a good sign. One employee handling food and money owner on the phone. Not a warm welcome but oh well. My food was extremely disappointing. Nothing warm. Rice over cooked and no salt or seasoning at all and cold. Chicken dry, over cooked cold. Beef same thing. Falafel was dry as sand, lacked flavor and cold. Two sauces no idea what they were not flavorful too much garlic. I was grateful the food was cold because it was all unceremoniously packed into a styrofoam container and my salad would have been wilted otherwise. It's amazing how in times like this you can have zero clue your business is literally doing everything wrong. Really a waste of money as I threw it in the trash. I don't really have bad thing to say about this place other than the fact that it's quite small and really best for takeout. I worked in Worcester this summer and Got food here nearly once a week. The owner is super friendly and started giving me a piece of baklava once he realized I was a regular lol. The food is always amazing, this was my first shawarma and it's safe to say I set my standards pretty high. I switched off between the different shawarma meat plates but I was never dissatisfied. The portions are HUGE for what you pay for. The plates could easily be split between 2 meals but it's also pretty easy to down the whole plate. If you're in the area definitely stop by. read more

I stopped in today for lunch based on the reviews. This restaurant certainly did not disappoint! The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. I had a mixed plate with all of the usual sides. The garlic sauce was my favorite, very flavorful. The prices were right and the owner clearly cares about his business and customers. This was obvious to see by he many regulars who welcomes him back from his vacation and were obviously excited to get back to eating his homemade food.
