They're very busy here. Which is usually a good sign. The young man running the show did an excellent job of juggling answering the phone and prepping the food. At 12 o'clock he got some backup to help him. There waz a lot of steak in my shwarma wrap - yum. I really loved the pickled turnip and cucumber and also the fresh tomatoes and tahini sauce. It was overall an excellent wrap. I would suggest ordering in advance. Because they are very busy

I'm giving it two stars because the delivery was quick. But that's it. I ordered a chicken plate that came with rice veggies pita etc. The chicken was a large tray of literally diced pieces of The most dried out god awful chicken. As in inedibly dry and bad. Even smothering it in their pretty good hummus wasn't enough to make the chicken palatable. Really don't know how they placed that stuff in a takeout container and thought "yup. This'll wow the customer". The fried kabbeh was good to be fair but if you order a dish where the cooked chicken is the main event it's criminal to serve what they did.

This simple Middle Eastern restaurant was a great find. It features a walk - up - and - order format. The service is efficient and no - nonsense. The food is quite tasty. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate with cole slaw and fries while my wife had a Beef Shawarma Pita. We were both very happy with our choices. The facility is nothing elaborate but it is clean and comfortable with a decent seating capacity. We were able to get out of there for less than $10 per person, which included food, drink, tax and tip. I thought this was a good deal. We'll definitely go back when the opportunity presents itself.

When you want something quick, fast, and very YUMmy, this is definitely the spot. The staff is nice and the freshness of the ingredients comes through bite after bite. It's located in a shopping ctr nearby hotels and retail stores.

Must be alive before it is killed. Hmm. Something's not kosher there. Lol. Food is fantastic though. Love this place.

Great shawarma sandwiches. Both beef and chicken. I prefer the beef over the chicken. Salads are also very good and fresh.

My first time here, wonderful food and super nice people running the place. You can definitely feel the family vibe here - it's very warm and welcoming. Cozy place in a shopping center with easy parking. I had the chicken lemon rice soup and a supreme bowl with gyro meat and a bunch of wonderful toppings! You decide whether you want a pita or a bowl, then you pick your protein, toppings and sauces, and any sides that you might like. If you still have room after your main course you can select from a number of delicious desserts. Everything is really super flavorful which I really appreciated. I can assure you the next time I'm in the area I will definitely stop here again. I recommend you give this place a try - I think you'll be very happy.

The Mediterranean Latte is my usual go-to, sweetened with honey (they offer other sugar substitutes as well!). It's like a warm hug. They always have several excellent seasonal flavors as well, so we try those every time. This winter, the Peppermint Mocha and the Cinnamon Latte are delightful. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. They remember us even tho we are only here twice a year, and I find that very sweet. We have had their bowls as well, all of which were good quality. There are lots of protein, topping, and sauce choices. They have grab n go desserts and some side dish items in the cooler with the sodas (they have Coke *and* Pepsi products). This location is clean, bright and warm with a clean restroom (for customers only) and some outdoor tables to enjoy in the warmer months. We have been and will be back many many more times to come!

As much as I'd like to say I've tried more dishes here, I can't... because their chicken shawarma is too good to steer away! Lovely portions for the $20 price tag. I'm very hard to fill-up, but they manage to do it here. The large portion sizes is what ultimately keeps me coming back. Owner & management - please keep it up! Kind staff. Very accommodating. Treated like family while dining in. Newly remodeled dining area that's especially nice. The ONLY knock I have is a 7% fee for dining - which appears to be a new charge. Food is prepared on a paper plate and served on a plastic tray that you return when throwing away trash. The additional expense to eat in is not justifiable. There is also a 3% non-cash fee. Be prepared to spend an additional 10% menu price if you plan to dine in & pay with card. Overall, I thoroughly love this place, and will continue to eat here a LOT as long as prices remain manageable and portions stay large. I very highly recommend!

Last person in our party was served almost 2 hours after we were seated. He boxed most of his food. We all did. People came and went and staff was wrapping up, we were all ready to leave. How is this ok to arrive anticipating a shared experience and leave paying a premium for carry out? We waited an hour for hummus. We were asked if we wanted appetizers served first, yes, which leaves the expectation that items would arrive timely and in order. One in our party asked for a drink on the house due to the unacceptable wait. And clarified "on the house" a second time. I felt like the acknowledgment was conciliatory and a show of good faith. I regret ordering a second drink based on that. When we got our bills, his drink was on the tab. Was there some disconnect? Plus an automatic 20% gratuity due to "large group" of 7 people. 20% is standard to me, but in this case doesn't help the cause of what might be assumed to be an overburdened server. And makes me think they feel it's the customer that's the problem for expecting anything remotely what the brand implies. The server was congenial initially, but avoided us the longer we waited for our food. No water refills, no updates. I don't blame her for not asking if we needed anything because what we needed was our food ....how uncomfortable....whatever was going on in the kitchen might be making her job miserable. 2 hours on a cozy patio enjoying decent food and drinks, yes. Waiting on food, not so much.

While I did not experience the ambiance at Grape Leaf Diner today, I can say from a past visit that the atmosphere is clean, bright with lots of windows, and with comfortable chairs and booths. The restaurant is located near or within a small strip mall at the Holland, OH location. (The Grape Leaf Express location in Toledo, OH located on Monroe St near Franklin Park Mall is also in a strip mall.) The food ordered today included chicken shawarma, yellow rice with vegetables (green beans, corn and peas), hummus, pita bread, and a Greek salad. There was also a dish of grilled vegetables that included squash and zucchini. While I didn't want to be rude and photograph food in the middle of the party, I took some screenshots posted by the restaurant to give you an idea of the food presentation. The salad ingredients were very fresh and delicious. Hummus was perfectly flavored. I always wish that Mediterranean rice had more vegetables, though it was delicious. I found the chicken shawarma a bit salty, but I'm salt-sensitive, so most people probably would love it; the meat was lean. As for the zucchini and squash vegetables, they looked delicious but we didn't have plastic knives, and I couldn't manage to cut them or eat them with the plastic forks. It was a beautiful presentation and I recommend that you give this restaurant a try! A tip for summer weather: the A/C was cranked up high when I was last there... maybe bring a jacket or sweater if you tend to run cold.
