I believe macerating some raspberries and sugar and finishing with some fresh lemon zest or even a little lemon juice and adding that to the fresh raspberries would knock it out of the park. What sucked was they were out of ice cream so we couldn't order a shake, they were out of lemonade, so we couldn't order the rasberry lemonade (these two things were why we chose to eat here) and then the fountain drinks were all either water or the syrup was out so we paid for drinks for bad water. I got the beach babe water, very strawberry forward. I will try something different next time. The Æbleskivers were well prepared and my entire family enjoyed them. I'm not a big fan of pancakes, I prefer a crispy waffle. The stand out of our experience however was the friendly service from the woman taking our orders. She was so welcoming and talkative even though they were very busy. It was our first time here and she treated us like local friends. Once she spotted our dog she immediately searched for her dog treats and offered one. While we were waiting for our food I asked for a small cup of water for our dog. A minute later the woman who took our order walked out with a large, clean dog bowl filled with cool water. It really put a special touch to this darling place.
