I learned they've been in business for over 35 years, with most of it in Hoover. I was offered a couple options for repair, and having chosen a the same type of spring ring clasp, the repair took only a few minutes. I enjoyed chatting with the owner for a few minutes. They made sure to clean the repaired piece, and they even cleaned my own rings while I waited. Super service and a great option instead of the big jewelry store chains, and much closer for me! Note: I purposely didn't include any pictures of the interior, etc. I also didn't want to include pictures of any inventory that I wasn't purchasing. I want the owners to be able to share that if they are comfortable. If I had purchased something more interesting than a clasp, I would have been happy to post it. Just know that you will not be disappointed with your shopping experience or any pieces you may select.

I was really impressed with my overall experience here. Paul was more than willing to do a thorough…read moreanalysis on my laptop and did not charge me for anything. He was really kind and helpful. He gave me his recommendation and suggested that it would be better to purchase a new laptop instead of letting him try to repair the one I brought in. He explained that he would probably not be able to fix it and it would be more cost effective for me to just trash it. He also did not try to push me to purchase one of the laptops he had for sale in the shop or try to swindle me out of money for something he knew he couldn't fix. I would recommend this shop and especially Paul for anything and to anyone. I know I will definitely be back in the future should the need arise.
