I received sister Cotons from Sharon. They are healthy, beautiful, great personalities, and very loving. I've had a great experience with her and still keep in touch with her. I've texted and talked to her for over 1 1/2 years now and I find her loving, caring and protective of her dogs. I've loved hearing about the new litters and think she is a pretty awesome person. There are always two sides to every story and my initial thoughts upon reading some of the reviews is to wonder what these people were doing to sour the relationship. Perhaps Sharon had to step in because she was concerned about the dogs. I have no idea, but I've loved my experience with her and couldn't be happier with my babies.

    Our sweet Coton

We had an amazing experience with Sharon from Elite Bichons and Cotons, the only American Kennel Club certified Coton breeder in California. From the moment I first reached out, Sharon was incredibly responsive, and she remained that way throughout the entire process. She provided us with a lot of detailed information about the breed, availability, and the next steps. We were able to schedule a visit with the puppies very quickly, and she even introduced us to a few of the adult dogs so we could see what the puppies would look like when fully grown. Sharon welcomed us where we were able to sit comfortably as she took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. There was absolutely no pressure during the purchase process. She gave us the freedom to come back and place a deposit at our convenience to secure our puppy. Sharon was very open to us visiting our puppy before pick-up, and she was completely transparent about when the puppy would be ready, what shots they had received, and what future vaccinations would be required. She made sure we fully understood all aspects of our puppy's health and care. Sharon's love and passion for her dogs were clear from the beginning. All of the dogs in her care, including the puppies, were happy, healthy, and well cared for. We are beyond thrilled with every part of our interaction with Sharon. Our puppy recently turned one and is in excellent health. We receive so many compliments on her every time we take her for a walk--people often ask what breed she is and love petting her. Cotons are incredibly intelligent and affectionate. Our dog has been a joy to train; she knows several commands already and even sits and waits patiently before eating. Everyone who meets her simply falls in love with her, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. I can't thank Sharon from Elite Bichons and Cotons enough for making our entire experience so pleasant and kind. I highly recommend her as a breeder and have already recommended her to several people who have met our dog.

Sharon and Elite Bichons and Cotons surpassed expectations! we've had our little girl for about 3 months and could not possibly be happier. She is healthy, adorable, smart and hilarious! Sharon promptly answered all questions I had before we went to pick out our puppy, provided copies of all certifications, and made the transaction comfortable. She clearly loves all of her 'house' dogs - it isn't a business, it is a passion! I just wish I had room to ade a few more to the family!

To my horror, they have gone through the same issues and worse. soft palate issues, spinal issues, eye issues, many have dealt with brain disease and cancer, paralysis, their immune systems attacking their muscles and wasting away, dental disease despite regular cleanings and daily toothcare, neurological issues seem to be extremely common among these dogs. This breeder would stop what they're doing once they heard from even 2 people with these issues in their dogs from family bullies. This is a life of medical torture for money.

Purchasing a Frenchie was difficult to find a reputable and humane breeder. They definitely gave our little Remy lots of love until he was ready to come home. He was raised with the rest of the litter in the home and they answered all my questions and showed me the environment to make sure everything checks out. Frenchie's are prone to lots of health issues as a breed, so it's important to go with a reputable breeder. Our vet has been so impressed with Remy's health and personality they have actually been referring other customers to Family bullies. We love our little guy and can't thank you all enough for being such great partners to help us get our new family member.

As I sit here and I write this, I am in tears. I was expecting to get home from my trip and pick up…read moremy girl only to find out that they adopted her out to what was supposed to be a temporary foster while I was away. They said that they did it because I asked the size of the mother and discussed the potential size of the puppy. I just think that's kind of weird. I thought you were supposed to ask a lot of questions when you adopted a dog we are semi retired and home all the time we have a large property in El Cajon with large fenced in area. I video taped my entire property for them to view. In addition, we also own another property in Arizona. We are in a very good place to have a pet we've adopted many times from shelters sometimes across the country! I've even paid for dogs to be sent to me from rural shelters in Mississippi to save their lives . I have never gone through the mental anguish as I have gone through dealing with this rescue. The emotional drama of going back-and-forth with them over the last couple weeks has absolutely worn me down. My heart is broken and I am crying. It is very emotional... certainly, they must realize that people to get very attached when they are about to adopt a puppy. These folks that I had to deal with had no compassion or humanity as to the pain that I am feeling. The foster mom Lesley was amazing, compassionate and kind. I wish I could've just out directly with her. I was told that they would notify me if anything changed that there were no applications for the dog that I wanted. I asked for the ZELLE to pay them. They told me not to rush that there were no other applications and that they would let me know if anything changed. Well, they did not; they simply adopted the dog out to what was supposed to be a temporary foster. My heart is absolutely broken. I am crushed to the core. Please be careful dealing with this rescue group. I understand that they are all just volunteers, but certainly they must understand that people become attached . when I expressed how upset I was and that I couldn't understand how this happened. They basically told me to put my adoption process on hold which I think means they won't allow me to adopt from them. I don't know. I guess there's other puppies that are available from that same litter. I was not aware. I thought they were all adopted, but I don't think that they will allow them to be adopted to me . Essentially they would rather have the dogs never find a home rather than to be adopted to someone who really wants the dog. Pretty absolutely amazing if you ask me. They also were very against me fostering to adopt, however, allowed someone else to foster her and after five or six days, they apparently decided to adopt her. They had initially told me that the foster did not intend to adopt her and that I could pick her up when I got back from Arizona. Today, I leave to go home to San Diego and I am so sad because I won't be able to pick up my girl... I hope the person that has her gives her a good and can give her an amazing life . I will not have that opportunity.

While I would recommend at least six months between grieving and taking on the work of a new puppy - we dove right in. We picked up our new puppy at nine weeks and he has been the best boy. This breeder told us her labs were more on the calmer side of labs, she wasn't kidding! Our first lab was hell on wheels for a good 9 years. Our Rocky is so chill, we still can't believe how easy going he is. He is kinda an "old soul" with an occasional zoomies moment here and there. He is such a sweetheart. People ask me often if we got a rescue. There's such a stigma with using breeders, we are often asked "did you rescue him?" I always answer, he rescued me.

She is so smart, has been super easy to train, is confident yet so sweet with our 8 year old female lab. Our past couple of labs have come from a breeder in the Prunedale, CA area. Unfortunately they both had various issues...one we had to re-home due to resource guarding issues, and our current one has had to have ACL surgery in both knees. Although she has been sweet, she has been a money pit. I concluded I could not get another lab from that breeder. We could not have found a better pup than Joy. She is beautiful, super smart, and has not had any medical issues. No ear infections, skin irritations, nothing! She is also very well socialize and not as nervous as our other Lab.
