I called thinking I'd have to reschedule, but they were so kind and found a way to squeeze me in later that day at 4 PM, even though they closed at 6. I was honestly so grateful. Two sweet nurses, Mallory and Emily T, worked on me at the same time so I wouldn't miss out on my full session. They made me feel so comfortable the entire time by talking to me to keep me distracted, and pressing down with every zap to ease the sting. It really made such a difference. Denise and Miranda at the front desk were also super friendly and accommodating, just really great energy all around. The biggest con was the cost, but I thought if it works it will be worth it. I chose to go to Elysian and have had 6 treatments with amazing results. I have another appointment scheduled, but it is basically for touch up before I go on vacation. I have had treatments done by Julie and Rhonda and they are awesome! Very professional and skilled. If you plan to have laser hair removal done, I highly recommend this spa. Go in for a consultation and they can evaluate your condition and estimate # of treatments. One thing that I advise before you commit is to make sure you will have the funds to follow the appropriate treatment schedule. When I first started I would tell them I would call for my next appointment. After being 1-2 weeks late for treatments and noticing that I was not getting the desired results, I started to have Kayla (she is awesome too) to schedule my next appointment before I would leave the spa. This kept me on track and the results were GREAT! Listen to all of their advise and you will see results. The staff were all so kind and helpful. While I was waiting for my appointment, one of the women showed me these awesome products they carry that are not only makeup, but sunscreen as well. Essentially, I could go to the beach with a full face of makeup and not smell like traditional sunscreen or look greasy. I love that. The walls of this place are decorated with gorgeous art and in some of the rooms you can see the original brick walls of the building showing. The Diamond Glow treatment itself was not painful at all, but gave me the result of cleaned out pores. The suction takes out all the gook and replaces it with the serum of your skin professional's choosing (my serum was a hydrating one). The entire treatment was short enough to fall in my lunch hour, and was non abrasive enough for me to walk out and show the world my cleaned face. This is truly a luxury experience. Anything you want, coffee, tea, water, a more youthful complexion, can all be given to you here. I will definitely be back for more sessions.
