[[HIGHLIGHT]]LOVE SOREDA! Such a beautiful kind loving little lady! I will never not come back to her![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Have been seeing her for a couple years and she is the best! Today I brought in my little sister (20) to have a cut she hadn't had since the last time I brought her in which was 4-5 years ago! Soreda never disappoints ! She exceeds expectations and I think all the stylists do as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The feeling I got when I watched other guests was that they definitely have been here before .. asking about family or personal things.. it's a great vibe in there[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Benz has done it again folks!! I came here a few months ago for my first haircut with Benz. It was by far the best haircut I've had in years. My usual hairstylist whom I've been going to for over 15 years was unavailable for color and highlights so I thought why not give Benz a try. He exceeded my expectations. The top of my head upon arrival had about 6 inches of dark almost black roots. And my hair was extremely faded. Benz did the most beautiful shades of blonde and soft brown. When I posted the photos to my Instagram after EVERYONE was asking where I went and how they can get in too!! lol I took that as the best compliment ever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also I was so surprised that Benz did a scalp and temple massage during washing, and a shoulder massage before blow dry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm absolutely blown away by the amazing treatment and quality I received. I desperately needed a trim and decided to try this little salon. Because I have curly hair, I was a little hesitant to go. I don't trust people with my hair but, I read the great reviews and gave it its best judgment. When entering it was clean and very welcoming. Nika was the gal who cut my hair and she was extremely thorough and even cut my hair DRY because she KNEW how curly hair worked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She gave me so many helpful tips on how to keep my hair hydrated, it was extremely comforting knowing she cared about my hair and the way I like to style it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got home this evening and washed my hair, I kid you not my hair looks so cute after air drying! I truly love coming here. It was my first time ever coming in for hair dye, and Ben made the whole experience so comfortable and it came out absolutely beautiful. I get compliments everywhere. I loved it so much that I came back a few days later for a haircut, and once again I left so happy. Update: I don't want to mislead people but after a few days as I washed my hair I suddenly noticed the difference of the first time I had my highlights. I saw some uneven parts of color after I straightened my hair to have a better view of my hair. It took me 4 days before I washed my hair and I already noticed the uneven tones. I even used a purple shampoo. Ken offered a free toning service but I had to pay $30 for shampoo and styling but what's the assurance of my hair getting fixed? And I have previously bleached hair so I can't afford to have breakage or have a worse outcome. I think somehow him being on the phone and with other clients without assistants checking on my hair took a toll on the process of bleaching of my hair. I had to get on and off his chair coz he had to cut another clients hair and it's not only once. Coz he was pretty booked. I'm sorry as much I would love to have a perfect rate for this salon especially because of their friendliness but I wasn't overall satisfied. It's salvageable if I will have to curl it so you won't notice but as a busy mom I can't afford to do that everyday. I had my hair done somewhere else that I didn't have to do that and my hair was completely fine. Maybe it was a miss that day. I don't know, but it's hard to gamble when it comes to your crown of glory. So just something to consider. read more

10 out of 10 experience! I highly recommend I haven't had a hair cut since 2022 and I have extremely long and thick hair. I set up an appointment with Benz because I seen so many great reviews with him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was nervous because my hair is my "safety blanket" but i was planning to chop a lot off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Benz was so nice and gave me exactly what I wanted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a huge chop, layers, curtain bangs, and it was styled. What a wonderful and relaxing experience! I went in with significant split ends, and thought I would have to chop a lot of hair off, but my stylist Nika, gave me a thoughtful and careful haircut to reshape my style and preserve as much lenght as possible. Her demeanor was so peaceful and gentle, and the haircut so peaceful, I almost fell asleep. That alone, made my experience so pleasant. I've done the so fancy for you salon life for almost all of my haircuts. The wine and hair wash at upscale places is nice but at the end of the day the cut is the most important. Ken gets it done and he is so calming, sweet and thoughtful with styling. He knows his stuff and makes sure to understand what you want while also suggesting things based on your hair type. $25 a cut. He styled it so beautifully like I was going to a gala. So the test was what it would look like after a shower and no styling (aka my normal daily life) and... I LOVE my new layers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I made an appointment on Monday for today (Friday) at 9am. The man who scheduled me on the phone that day said I was all set for my appointment for Friday the 7th at 9am! He said it himself! Just for me to wait an HOUR in the parking lot and have no one show up. The place was closed. I decided to leave after waiting an hour just for them to call me 10 minutes after saying they had me for tomorrow. Which is WILD. I came here back in 2021 and it was a great experience clearly I've been gone for to long. Keep your money spend it on a place that values your time. read more

I have premature grays all over my head since I've been in high school. It was a pain. I had to dye my roots every month just to hide my embarrassment. During quarantine I let my roots grow wild and after six months I decided it was time to tame the bean sprout farm amassing all over my scalp. I just let Ken do his magic and he was able to do a low maintenance hair color that blended the grays. They way he balayaged my hair allowed my grays to grow longer in between root touch up. I love how my hair color came out and next time I plan to go brighter and go full on mushroom gray. Even if you're in your 20s and graying, Ken and Soreda have the best solutions for you! I was referred here by a coworker because I needed to find a new stylist since mine left town!…read more I actually scheduled with Sebastian, but when I told him what I wanted to do -BIG CHOP - cut off 10 inches for a bob for the first time, he was honest and suggested another stylist that specialises in short hair. I was thankful for his honesty and appreicate that he wanted me to get the very best outcome. I then scheduled with Jen and she was like a bright lil sunshine. We cut off the 10 inches and it was so fun deciding what to do with it next. She truly knows hair and is very high level professional. I will be back! The location is in the LBX shopping area with plenty of parking, but it can be busy after 5 or on the weekends. Inside the salon is stunning and they offer you drink services which was so nice.

Myla -I think that's how you spell her name cut my hair. As she was doing it I wasn't sure what the outcome would be but once she was done and she blow dried it to give it a bit of a style. It looks so beautiful. She cut about 3 inches to get most of my dead ends out. If I'm ever in the area & I need a haircut. I would absolutely come back again.

For me, I got a fresh balayage. Maly fixed my previous bleach, toned my hair twice for the perfect shade, then gave me a nice cut & styled it beautifully. I honestly didn't know how to explain what I wanted, but I showed her a few inspo pics & she immediately knew what to do. Her salon is small & tucked away in a little plaza in Long Beach, but so worth finding! We actually know about her because my mom's coworker referred us! The atmosphere is so intimate with only 3 salon chair. Oh! She treated us to complimentary ramen & donuts lol. Prices are unbelievably affordable.. only $400 for both of us, including tip! That's rare these days!! The only small note is that Maly has a bit of a heavy hand while working!! My mom on the other hand said she actually loved it because it felt like a scalp massage . Overall, we're obsessed with our new hair and will definitely be back.

This can be hard to do, especially since I have ethnic hair and about a decade of vivids, henna color, and other experiments in my hair. I came in with blue and purple fun hair. This is my hair after two sessions and she's done a great job delivering on Grey blending. She found an ashy beige that would work with blending in with my silvers. She really understands color. Rizza also has very chill energy and listens to your requests. I also needed to handle personal medical stuff during my appointment and she was very helpful about it.

One of the things I appreciate the most is how accommodating Shannon is willing to work with my unpredictable schedule. That kind of understanding and flexibility means more to me than they probably realize. It's rare to find a salon where you not only love the quality of the work, but also genuinely love the people and the way they treat you. Today, the owner went above and beyond for my daughter and I, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of here. I had a flight the next day like at 6am 2. when I return I go back to school Mon- Thurs literally 10am -3:30pm and then 6:30pm-9 3. I work 14 hour shifts Fri- Sunday . Not once did she offer if I'd like another stylist , not once did she offer a real accommodation . Let's be real and hold accountability , because this second cancel the day of appointments, messaging me hours before on IG asking to move my appointment earlier to then canceling is WILD . Original : I know the stylists have their own way of booking or dealing with affairs apart of the salon but I think it's wild they have a rebooking fee of over $30 if client has to reschedule last minute their appointments BUT when I get my appointment canceled TWICE by the stylist ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT , due to "family emergencies" that apparently always happen. I think it's wild that a stylist can waste a clients time and day considering the first time it was canceled I had planned to get my hair cut before my birthday trip and today it got canceled I had just told my boss no to coming in for a shift because of my scheduled appointment ... what do we clients get in return besides wasted time and lost money ? At least she returned my $20 deposit that has been kept since August but damn , homegirl really needs to take care of home before taking appointments , we have a life out here too.

Basically you get what you paid for when you go to sheer and shine. The pricing was affordable. The customer service was nice and comforting, but the one thing that I could not stand was that I put an appointment with Soreda, but she pass me on to her brother to do my hair. Ken was a great person, but when I ask to keep my hair long he went ahead and cut it shorter than it was suppose to be. My hair before we started was at my waist and it took me 2 years grow it out, but he cut it to my shoulder length in a matter of a few minutes. I showed them picture reference and was hoping this place can be it, but I was wrong. If it wasn't for the great customer service I would have rated this place 1 star. read more

Loved my experience here!! I asked for layers, but I wasn't too sure the length I wanted. My hair stylist showed me all different sorts of lengths before cutting my hair so I could see which I was comfortable with. She was understanding, kind, and super efficient. All this great service, for super reasonable price! Will definitely be back, and have already recommended this salon to many! read more

I have been disappointed with new hair salons but I got to say my luck has gotten better. This is a great place to get a men's hair cut. Definitely bang for your buck. 10 cash plus I left a good tip.
