Customer service was amazing from the front desk to the technician I had, Kayla. I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted, and they look very natural! I also got a lash lift and tint - my natural lashes are already black so the tint didn't make a huge difference but the lift came out good despite my stubborn lashes. Overall, Kayla was a great lash tech and did a wonderful job making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The place itself is also beautifully decorated and clean with a relaxing ambience. It felt like it hurt more but I figured I'm just not used to her. It wasn't until later that day I realized she had cut me on both sides! Now the cuts are scabbing. Now I do have sensitive skin which sometimes breaks out and I'm not blaming her for that. I however had never had cuts on my eyes from threading. I stopped by to see if they were willing to rectify the situation but she dismissed it by saying it happens all the time! Funny how it's never happened to me. For years, my wife expressed unhappiness with the thinness and irregularity of her eyebrows. She would spend a lot of time every morning filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result. She has gone for touchups the past two years, and this year (2023) was her third visit. It's really quite remarkable. My wife is so happy with the results, and I am relieved and happy too. The check in process was easy but for your first time here you may not know! Just go to the ipad & follow the questions! The girl did exactly what I wanted - no judgement, no putting her own twist on it, i showed her how much i wanted off & she did just that! I had wanted to get rid of a good portion of my tail & make my brows straighter & she did them amazingly!! This was also my first time getting them threaded, a LOT less painful than wax. I hate when i'm getting waxed and the light is really bright that i want to really squeeze my eye & the hot wax under my brow - it's very over stimulating. with threading, you get to hold your eye a little & get that extra blocking of light & since you're kinda covering your eye, it isn't as scary!! They don't play music, so there isn't a lot going on to distract you, but it kinda makes it a little less overstimulating! This place is a 10/10 on everything. if you need music bring an earbud!
