I've treated two previous areas and I'm currently working on my 3rd. I've always had consistent, thorough treatments, until last night. My most recent session with Lyssa was the complete opposite and honestly was a complete waste of money. I had gotten off work at 4 from north county and traffic was bad so I was about 10 minutes late for a 5:15 appointment. However, the clinic was not busy and I didn't see anyone after me so there was absolutely no reason for the session to be so rude and rushed the way it was. The first thing Lyssa said/asked upon us meeting for the first time was if I was there to treat my lower-face treatment. I told her I had never done that before and that maybe she was looking at another Jessica's chart since my name is so common it happens often. When Lyssa starts the laser, she asks if it was painful and I say yes, so she asks if I want to turn it down and I say no, just turn the air up higher. She said it was already at the max setting which it wasn't (I know exactly what that setting feels like after multiple past sessions), but she insisted it was without checking. The entire treatment took under TWO minutes, and she did not go over any area twice, which is the standard every other technician here has followed. That's a $70 per MINUTE session. She asked if I needed aloe and then left the room. Cold. Abrupt. Dismissive. Such a disgusting attitude. I walked out feeling like I she ripped me off and treated me like trash. I should not have to pay full price for a session that was rushed, incomplete, and performed with dismissive attitude and zero care. Instead, she gave me a horrible experience. In my way to the receptionist, I see Lyssa in the hall and she quickly turns into an EMPTY room then closes the door behind her. When I get to the receptionist, I ask for the managers info, which I only do in extreme cases. The receptionist asks me, did you not get the treatment? And I said, "Exactly... That's how short it was!" If the clinic wants to maintain its reputation, there needs to be consistency in training and expectations. What I experienced with Lyssa was unprofessional and below the standard of this location. Sometimes employees get an entitled and rude attitude when they've been somewhere for a while. On the day of my appointment, my provider texted me at 5 am (4 hours before the appointment) cancelling on me and asking to reschedule. I understand people get sick and things come up, but that's when you need to find a replacement when it's that short of notice. Whether her being sick was the truth or not, cancelling on Mothers day just give the impression you didn't want to come in on the holiday. I texted back and asked if there was anyone else who could do it because I am leaving the next day and I didn't hear anything back from her. I then had to scramble and spend double the amount I was going to in order to find a place that was 1. even open on Sundays and 2. had an appointment sometime during the day. It honestly ruined my whole schedule for the day and interrupted my time spent with my mom. Under normal circumstances and I wasn't leaving for a trip the next day this wouldn't be a really big deal to reschedule. It was just incredibly frustrating. After looking over several other reviews for this place it seems like attendance and being punctual from many employees is not this place's strong suit. If somewhere is charging cancellation fees for clients for last minute cancelling, the providers shouldn't be able to do it 4 hours before the appointment, or if they can't make it, find someone who can step in. Second, there is very minimal talk and she didn't seem to want to be there, simply "having to work Saturdays and every other Sunday soon because she needs money". Third, there is INSANE road closures and noise with the windows open, there is ZERO chance of relaxing. The service was 45min, yet it took 20 min to numb me and then 5-ish minutes of microneedling itself. The needle depth was set way too high. I should be on 0.5mm it seemed higher based on feeling so much when I was numbed already. The gliding and pressure was too much and yet, I'm almost 2 weeks in and I don't see much of a difference. Lastly, she was rushing through the service I'd assume because someone was late which delayed other services. The movement of the facial, needling and moving stuff around was obvious she was stressed, rushing and not attending to clients. Unfortunately, I will never return, and I'll wait for my microneedling person instead.

She told me to get undressed, I told her I'm fast yet, she took what seemed to be 3-5 mins to come back in. The Brazilian went smoothly, I don't need extra care, and I don't make small talk. I went out to pay and no one was in the lobby waiting. The receptionist bumped my appt from 10:40 to 11:00. Nicole was done and I had paid at 11:03. I sat in my car and handled a few things to see if anyone came in the front doors. Not one client walked in. I left at 11:15. Nicole had PLENTY of time to do my brows. PLENTY. She was just being petty. To top it off, she had the nerve to get offended and drop an attitude on me when I didn't tip here. Was she actually surprised? Unbelievable. There are WAY too many choices for waxing here in San Diego for one of your employees to act like that. As a side note: the woman who answered my call at 10:36 when I was on the road to the store was very kind.
