This is an amazing Sheetz. Everything was clean and when I ordered the drinks came out very quick and were absolutely delicious. The food came out in less then five minutes and they still apologized for our wait. It was delicious food and very quick for being made after we ordered. The candy aisle was long and had many choices which was great after a long drive. The soda cave was fun to look at and made me and my boyfriend laugh. Even the made to go food was not soggy and delicious! For sure worth our stop. read more

This Sheetz location is a family favorite since it's so close for those of us living on Faith Circle in Carlisle. Since Wolf's Bridge is closed for construction, it's a little inconvenient to get to, but Sheetz makes it worth the extra few minutes to drive out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The service is almost always quick here and in all the times I've frequented this location over the past several years, I can't recall a negative interaction with any employees. They're friendly, helpful if I'm looking for something, and they always greet my son with a genuine smile. As far as selection goes, this location is typical of what we Pennsylvanians have come to expect out of Sheetz. They do have a soda cave and a car wash, which is a little unique. If you're looking for an MTO or gas at the average price in town, this location won't disappoint! read more

Staff is A+ and working with what they got. They are awesome. But management blows. They had one cashier, and two people making drinks and food on a Friday night. At 10:30 pm. Waited 25 minutes for chicken wings and cheese curds. The manager should know better than to overwork and stress out his/her employees like that. read more

They just recently renovated this place from the crap shoot that it used to be, so I'm definitely fan of this now. Their Made-To-Order (MTO) stuff is surprisingly good and this place is one of the few highlights in Carlisle (yes, I'm a little cynical...and yes I can say this because I lived in this town for 7 years). It's new and clean and big. What else do you need from a gas station? Oh yeah, at night, you could probably see this place from the space station, it has that many lights. read more

Quiktrip has nothing on this place. It's fortunate & unfortunate it's a family run business and they have no plans to move west... at least not to Kansas City :( I ate off their made-to-order menu 4 times while in Carlise for just 5 nights. They have it all & it's semi-gourmet. I had a turkey wrap with pesto... You can't say that about any gas station near me. Good going Sheetz family! read more

This Sheetz, and the rest of the franchise/chain throughout Pennsylvania, is a reasonable alternative to the rest stops on the Turnpike. They offer many in-house prepared fast food options and all the snacks and energy drinks you could desire. The price at the pump tends to be a few cents less per gallon than their opposite number on the toll road. Most important, if you have a few extra minutes, it allows you to get off I-76 and explore some of the local spots for a meal, restroom, stretch, or any other diversion. This one in Carlisle is very near several decent restaurants that can calm the road warrior in you, and make you smile again. At least until you strap in and resume your journey. Sheetz is one of the greatest creations in all of mankind's history. Sure, not every Made-to-Order (MTO) item is great, but let's be serious, it's a gas station. The price is right, and some of the items are solid. The appetizer sampler (mozz sticks, fried mac 'n cheese, jalapeno poppers) is totally sweet. The burgers and breakfast sandwiches are serviceably good. Beyond the awesome MTO menu, Sheetz is just an awesome place. Where else can you find 20 jugs of coffee sitting on warmers or 500 types of drinks in the cooler. The place is warm, friendly, and inviting. Most importantly, since it's in a college town, it's one of two places open 24 hours. read more

Very disappointed with the decline in customer service, cleanliness of the store and the overall experience of shopping at this location. The employees, primarily the overnight crew are rarely in the store. They are either outside smoking or in the back while customers stand at the counter. On several occasions in recent visits it was necessary to yell for someone in the back to come to the counter and ring up my purchases. I questioned the employee why nobody is working the counter, he replied we don't have to, we have cameras. This is never the case at the competitor down the road. read more
