I usually get a good meal here, steaks or ribs, but wanted to try their chicken fried steak. The mashed potatoes and beans were fine, as was the salad, BUT, the CFS was the worst I've ever had. It was maybe a 1/4" thick, about 3"x5" hockey puck, hard, terrible. Didn't finish it. Looked pre-packaged, not what I expected for this place. It was terrible from the first bite.

    Yummy!

Slow service. 20 minutes to get a beer. 45 to get smoked brisket sandwiches. SW coleslaw is regular coleslaw with a few pieces of corn and a few black beans not the jalapeño lime cilantro SW slaw I was expecting. Cowboy beans were blah. Won't stop again.

It took a while to get seated; after I was seated and excused myself to wash my hands, upon returning there was a sign that read seated yourself in bar area. I loved all the western decorations. I was so excited and just knew I had to get a good steak here! Sirloin was awesome! Not cooked properly but I was taking home leftovers so I knew it would be good. I ordered some Bourbon Steak bites. I wasn't impressed. Honestly I was surprised my waiter didn't offer to get me something else or refund; he didn't. I took home because I paid for it; it's still in refrigerator. Waiter was prompt with service.

Waited an hour for 2 burgers well done. Get your shit together

Terrible service, always take to long for food even when it's slow. New ownership needs to look at there customers making comments of how bad it is. No wonder us locals only come to the bar, not to eat. Take notes from the original owners this is terrible

Decor was good. Food above average. Unfortunately server spilled our tray of alcoholic beverages and my husband got quite wet. Server was VERY apologetic.

We enjoy the longhorn grill and saloon. We prefer to sit at the bar. They have a good selection of drinks, the food is decent. It's typical bar food, burgers and sandwiches etc. Good portion sizes. Have only gone during the day/early evening so not sure what a dinner rush would look like but it's usually not too busy. The interior is cool and obviously the bull head out front is fun for a photo shoot. Would recommend.

This place is as average as you can get. The one thing that I loved is my ribeye steak and mashed potatoes. The southwest rice was hard and crunchy. The seasonal vegetable was brussels sprouts but some people in our party did not even touch it even though I thought it was tasty. The service was OK but they tried hard to accommodate the group of 13 of us. The food came out at very different times and ironically the people who ordered the bowl and a pork sandwich got their dishes well after the rest of us who ordered steaks and tri tips. I won't come here again but it was a nice ambience inside and even outside.

Chuckwagon salad, after I mixed it all together.

The server split it for us as we thought it might be 'BIG' due to retail price. Not so much. It was really small and off the French roll with old beef meat that was very rancid and not even chewable . The French fries were white in color and so under cooked. We should have known when we first walked in at lunchtime on a Thursday and the place was almost empty. They currently do not have a liquor license so maybe that is why they charge $3.50 for a fountain soda drink? Another Rip-Off!!!!! Sadly, we will never return to this GV establishment!!!

Then sat for 13 minutes before anyone took our drink order. We ordered the wagu sliders and the seafood pasta. Sadly I heard the waiter telling another table about the daily specials, ours didn't. The food came out within ten minutes. The sliders were well done and dry. Lacked flavor. Served with fries and ketchup on the side. Fries were good! Ranch was super watery and had very little flavor. The seafood pasta was rich, and served lukewarm. There were several pieces of decent sized scallops. No one checked on us during the meal and were in need of water refills. The place is super overpriced for the area. Too many other options in the area to come back.

Everyone we interacted with was kind, courteous, and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming. We ordered the burger with mac & cheese, a French dip sandwich, biscuits and gravy, chili cheese fries, zucchini fries, and drinks for two adults and two kids. None of us finished our meals. My son's mac & cheese had a pool of oil underneath it, the biscuits and gravy left a greasy film on the roof of our mouths, the cheese on the chili cheese fries tasted very artificial, and the zucchini fries were slimy. I also found a piece of brown paper in my food. I showed it to the staff, and they apologized. They told me they would remove the meal from the bill and even offered me a cinnamon roll for the inconvenience, which I initially accepted because I appreciated the gesture. However, when I went to pay, I realized they had only discounted the meal by half instead of removing it entirely. At that point, everything kind of fell apart for me. I no longer wanted the cinnamon roll because I was genuinely disappointed with the entire experience. I didn't argue about it because the staff had been very kind, it had already taken quite a while just to pay, and I needed to leave. Another surprise was the pricing. The menu made it seem like the meals came with a side, but we were charged separately for each one. The drinks were around $4 each, even for the kids. Our total came to $73 before the partial discount and was still about $65 afterward. I understand this isn't meant to be gourmet dining, and I'm usually perfectly happy with simple diner food if it tastes good. Unfortunately, this just didn't. It was one of those meals where you leave thinking, "Well, I ate," but not feeling like you actually enjoyed it. For the price, it was especially disappointing. I honestly feel like we could have had a better meal almost anywhere else for less money even somewhere like McDonald's, and I'm not a fan of McDonald's. I truly appreciate how friendly and accommodating the staff were, which is why I'm giving more than one star. I just hope the food quality and value improve because the service deserves better than the food that's being served.

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.

The lemon was a thick bitter goop squeezed on, in and around the pancakes. And worst of all, the berries were frozen! That's just sad. They came with eggs. I asked mine done omelet style and they did, but they were over cooked. The bottom was actually dark brown and hidden. The over medium eggs were over easy. The well done bacon came well done, but all three bacon eaters said not very good bacon. The sausage links were liked better. Grits were happily substituted for my meat as I'm pescatarian. The grits were good. Coffee was hot but just average in taste - agreed across all of us. Oh, and the food was delivered by a robot. The highlight was the gentleman hand painting the windows for fall!
