So I grew up coming to this store when it served pastrami sandwiches, so we came in expecting something else. But MAN were we happy with what we found! I had the chicken kabab and I was floored--it was SO GOOD. The chicken is fresh and flavorful but the green slightly spicy sauce on the side was fantastic. I usually don't eat the salad offered with this type of meal but the dressing was so good I wiped it up with the pita and ate every bite. Excellent hummus. My husband got the gyro plate and it was absolutely delicious as well. 10/10 we will be back next time we're in Shell Beach! read more

Yeah you can come in for adult beverages, just make sure you stop and try the yummy Mediterranean dishes served inside as well! What a surprise and it's good too. A year ago I would have given these guys 5 stars. Over the last year there was a change in ownership and there seems to be a bit of disconnect with the locals, customer service is lacking and the once GREAT meals (burgers, breakfast sandwiches and burritos) are now just mediocre. On more than once occasions they have double charged our credit card and refused a refund suggesting we contest with the cc company. Employees are not as friendly as the last owners and there is a new cook . We used to pick up breakfast burritos and sandwiches WEEKLY. They do have a ginormous selection of liquor, beer, wine and spirits. You can pretty much purchase anything alcoholic that your little heart desires. They also have a nice selection of cigars, snacks and a few staples. Ohh and there is an ATM inside. I would consider their prices on the higher end but that is to be expected in touristy town. I go in a couple of times a month to pick up our local Tally Farms produce boxes DSS so I have given up on them yet. read more

As a local and business owner, I have to say that this place has Terrible customer service! Every time I go in there, the store is empty. Grossly overpriced compared to other local businesses. Last trip back here. Wow. Owner was so rude and the prices were crazy. Plus use a credit card, you get a .69 charge. He didn't care if we bought or not. Take your business elsewhere. WARNING: This neighborhood is surging with Covid cases and hospitalizations. On multiple occasions, the cooks, front desk and all staff at this liquor store/restaurant do not wear masks while handling food prep, cooking, cleaning and customer transactions. They have been reported to BBB and local government for not following mandated policies. It's really sad that they don't care about the community, safety, and cleanliness. I strongly suggest banning this business and going elsewhere. If you don't care about covid and the safety of yourself or others, then this is your jam. This establishment use to be well managed. A solid local liquor store. The proprietor pointed me in the right direction for some local zinfandel to take back to the hotel. While browsing I spotted some Olde Shandon Port Works Syrah Port from Paso Robles...I had just sampled it last week in of all places...Exeter, CA, a couple hundred miles to the east. If you are looking for some delicious fast-food this is it !!! On the breakfast menu I always have the chorizo, egg and potatoe burrito it enough for 2. I ordered a turkey sandwich & was able to pick my bread & toppings. It was delicious! I chose toasted wheat bread, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, wax peppers, avocado with salt & pepper. Friendly owners & they have a great selection of wine, champagne & liquor. If you can't find your favorite beverage there, it's not because of the lack of selection. woke up too late to have a breakfast burrito, but upon the nice deli guy's suggestion, took the huge turkey sandwich. probably one of the best sandwiches i've ever had. so good. i added bacon & avocado (extra $1 each) cause, hey, im on vacation, & it's so worth it. it made our picnic lunch out on the beach that much more perfect. they offer breakfast & lunch - i saw burgers, salads, breakfast burritos & hot & cold sandwiches. i have a hunch that they're all delicious & i cant wait to come back & find out :) when you walk in, you can grab one of the menus & check mark what you would like & how you want it prepared. all the prices are more than reasonable & the customer service is awesome. the guys behind the counter & behind the deli are really nice. it's also a liquor store with lots of variety. as a tourist, i'd recommend staying NEXT DOOR (literally!) at the shell beach inn. super rad folks own that place too. between the motel & the deli/liquor store you'll be taken care of for sure for your stay. read more

If you are at all concerned about Covid, know that they do not enforce masks on their customers nor do most of the employees wear masks. Sometimes the people making the food and working the register wear masks, but often times not. I'm not a fan for the blatant disregard of safety. read more
