They're in a very noticeable spot and I usually wash it myself so I'm 100% sure they caused it, but of course I can't prove it so they refused to take responsibility. Sucks. Wow, don't know if the ownership changed since the last time or what? We used to use these guys all the time, but it's been a while. My wife put her foot down and said that our car needed a wash NOW! So, we chose the $60 Executive wash because the car really was filthy. We get it back, and.... I go up to the guy who checked us in and point out the foot well mats. Yea, he says, those are dirty. They need to be cleaned. Now, I want to make clear, this is after I tipped the guys 20% ($12) in cash because I don't stiff the workers. Um, aren't you supposed to clean them? Had to take the company car for a deep, deep cleaning. A previous employee had ridden his dogs in it many, many times. The car was filty and reeked of dog. After searching for places here ine the city I found Tower Car Wash. This place is a serious placed and I was impressed with the extent of the operation. They have an army of people to clean cars. Nice. I was there two hours and watched two team members literally shampoo and scrube the interior. The car was super-dirty and they really put in the work to get it clean. Very impressive. However, its a pretty good value given the very hard working "finishing team" that completes the job! As a former hand car washer myself as a 15 year old, I truly appreciate the staff's attention to details on the windows, interior dash, console, floor mats, seats and all surfaces. Equal amount of detail is focused on your exterior including the roof, trunk, side doors, hood, windshield, bumpers and wheels & tires. Very impressive. This is a Chervon gas station, I usually fill up my SUV and car wash just under $100. I noted the abundance of Mercedes, Jaguars, BMWs and Porsches which to me means besides the price of the car wash, their customer make sure their auto get excellent care. It's expensive but they do a good job. You roll up, look at the paper menu and decide. They usually try to upsell, but you can say no if you want to. Then they take over, vacuum and run it through the wash. You walk into the gas station and pay, go to the other side and wait for your car to roll out. Then they start drying it, windexing it and clean the tires. If you have additional services they'll move your car over to a different area for waxing and detail. Otherwise when you're done they'll yell out your cars you tip and you're on your way. There's a semi permanent food truck usually stationed there, I've never tried it so I can't attest to it but it seems to have a steady flow of business. Got an interior detail and it came back super greasy. There were also plenty of places that were missed and not clean at all: along the bottom 1/3rd of the steering wheel, the rear drink holders, in the glovebox, air vents -- just all still dusty and dirty. Untouched where you can still see the dirt. It's as if they sprayed a ton of product around and barely made an effort to wipe things down. Sure, it's cleaner than it was when I brought it in, but I needed to spend about an hour drying it out and wiping if off so I don't get that "baby oil" feeling whenever I get in to my car. I considered bringing it back in to have them fix it, but it feels like they barely did a passable job here so I'm wary they won't really be able to /make it right/. I took my Rivian with a matte wrap, (which is hand-wash only) there. I spent $190. They created a new hole in the side of the wrap when I asked them about it George promptly called back... good start, right? He then sent me a few second video after they were nearly done (car already clearly wet) claiming it showed it was already there. I pointed this out and said, "Okay, if you show me that at the beginning of the wash, my problem, and I'll stand corrected." He claimed he had video of exactly that, and we could set up a time tomorrow to review it together. I set up a time, accommodated his schedule, called and then he didn't pick up! Didn't answer via text. THAT WAS 10 DAYS AGO. Clearly he was just hoping I accepted his horseshit answer and left... And then when I didn't, he COMPLETELY ghosted me. If you value your automobile do NOT use this place. immediately after washing my car here I saw a crack in the windshield and they wouldn't do anything to fix it and pointed to their disclaimer sign saying they are not responsible for broken windshields. I spoke to the manager and he said that the temperature from the outside and the temperature of the water potentially created the crack and would not do anything about it. I find this excuse ridiculous because it doesn't seem to happen anywhere else but here. Just know the disclaimer is not just for information only, you will probably get your windshield cracked and will have to deal with that. The repair quote for me is $5600 by Mercedes Benz. read more

The last couple of times I've come here for either a detailed hand-washing or a quick general car wash, I've noticed that lots of blue bits from their drying rags (all microfiber cloth, from what I can tell) are all over my car wherever they hand-dried. At first I thought this was a one-time fluke, but the last four visits I've been forced to use my own cloths to wipe away the blue bits from their cloth when I got home. I don't know if others have noticed this on their cars, or if others care - but since my vehicle is black, the bits of drying cloth really stand out for me. read more

Had a basic car wash ($39.99) here and even though I was satisfied with the wash, I was a little frustrated after seeing a chip on my windshield. I would know that it wasn't there before the car wash because I look at my dash cam each time I start my car, and that's when I noticed it. I suppose it happens in any traditional drive thru car wash but oh well. I won't come back. I then recommend going to Castro Car Wash instead where they wash your car by hand. When I arrived the person who was greeting me said that I would need a $200 service in order to address the issue. That was a lot more than I expected to pay and I expressed my surprise; he continued to insist that only the $200 service would address the issue. I felt that I was being taken advantage of and informed the man I would try a $15 drive through car wash first before spending $200. He didn't offer to work with me to try something less expensive first. I went immediately to a $15 car wash and all of the tree sap was removed from my car. Hate to dis on one of the few car washes that remain in business in San Francisco, but I just returned from a road trip to Yosemite, warned them there were a fair amount of bugs and paid $70 for a thorough wash. I did not get one. There were a ton of bugs in front. I mentioned this to the manager and he said he would get someone over to look at it. All that is fine. $45 was the midrange price for a full vacuum and windows cleaning. Detail treatments start about $100. These folks are hardworking! If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid $44.99 to get my cargo van washed. I talked to and showed the person arranging the sale about the need for vacuuming and cleaning of each area of my car. Mind you, my car was dirty, but nothing extraordinary. It is a cargo van with no carpets in the back. He said it would take around 25-30 minutes. After 15 minutes, I was told my car was done. The entire back had not been cleaned, AT ALL. No vacuuming, no wipe down, nothing. There were still visible spots all over the exterior of my car, as well. The dash and console were still covered in grime. They agreed to do it again. This time, they returned the car to me after about 35 minutes. the pictures below say it all. This is AFTER they had apparently done the job a second time. And the exterior grime was all still there. I ended up asking for a rag and literally scrubbed the outside of my car by myself. No joke. They refused to provide a refund. I will never return to this facility ever again. They lost a customer who gets her van washed at least 1x/week. I am not rich. I struggle financially but I do not have access to a garage. I felt taken advantage of and treated as if I was stupid and easily bamboozled. I am not sure if it was my gender or what, but the whole experience was offensive and insulting. I will be going to the self-wash in Daly City from now on. read more
