Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Excellent and lasting results, great people, convenient location, and timely scheduling. We'll see them again soon!

They did a beautiful job, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. It took a couple of weeks to get the appointment, but it was worth the wait. First of all I just want to say I have been taking both of my BMWS to this car wash for a couple of…read moreyears, living in the city there is no options for car wash besides this location and two others. Their wash is ALWAYS inconsistent, one wash might good and the other times, 80% of the time the car is poorly washed all around, I would have to clean up the car myself after their service. THIS time is was my absolute final time to ever take my car here. They cracked my windshield during the wash , they didn't call me when this happened, instead the staff that washed my car today completely acted like it wasn't them, acted like nothing happened and hoping I would NOT notice a HUGE crack in my windshield that on my 100k car. Beyond frustrating and aggravating how the staff handled it, they made me fill out a "claim" form that looks like it came from a public library typed by a 1st grader . I wasn't giving a solution or any resolutions, all they said we will contact you when we "know more". I asked to see the cameras, which of course they didn't show. Instead they tried to feed me a possibility this might have happened else where, but it didn't, the car was perfectly fine before this wash. If you have a valuable expensive vehicle DO NOT take your car here! I assure you it's not worth your money or the possibility of them damaging the exterior of the car. Anyone who needs a car wash referral I will be happy to provide it! I would give this place a -5 * if I could. Charging people absurd amount of money for half ass job, for inconsistent washes, very possible damage that might occur is absolutely shameless. This place needs to be handled by a different management and staff who actually know what they are doing and caring about customers and taking responsibility for the damages they caused!!!

Half the brushes aren't working most of the time. Today, the rinse isn't working! I talked to the staff about it and they said there is nothing they can do. Management won't let them close, even though they know the rinse isn't working. That's sucky, at best.

I have been using this semi-self service car wash for several years since it opened. It is clean, convenient to our home in Potrero Hill neighborhood, Bernal Heights, The Mission and Mission Bay and Bay View. Today is Julyb1, 2025 and I arrived around noon with 4 to 7 car waiting in line while I drove into the vacuum space before washing. There are trash cans to use along with a credit card vacuum machine with long hoses to reach both sides of your vehicle. The vacuum suction his very strong and easy to use. The car wash associates are visible and very attentive to trash removal and assisting at check in. There is a left lane to expedite your exit & leave if you already washed your vehicle. By the time I finished vacuuming and cleaning the interior there wasn't anyone waiting in line and I was able to head toward the self service payment kiosk. The process is simple and cost $20 or they have a $39 monthly club for unlimited car washes. I previously had joined before my vehicle was out for repair for 5 months. I now just pay the single car wash since its been well over a month since I had it washed and no longer a member of the club. The car wash attendants guide you into the car wash tracks and spray your vehicle from both sides from the front hood to the back. They use some spinner brushes, rags washers, high powered blowers and a stop/wait and go light signal to proceed after the wash is complete. If you are in the Bay Shore neighborhood I recommend giving Shine-N-Seal car wash. They have a bright, clean appearance with several whimsical cartoons on the walls with a Seal.

The only thing this Shell station has going for it is the gas, and thankfully, that still works…read more But aside from filling up your tank, I would not count on much else at this location. This is one of those Loop Neighborhood Market spots, and I usually stop at these all over the Bay Area for three reasons: gas, fountain diet soda, and a car wash. I even subscribe to both the drinks and the washes. But here, only one of the three ever seems to happen. You get your gas, and then you get out. Let's talk about the car wash. As others have mentioned, they rarely seem to have soap in the system. It finally happened to me a couple of times too. You wait in line, roll in, and get what feels like a polite splash of water. It is less of a car wash and more like your car got caught in a light drizzle. Then there is the soda fountain. For the last four months, every time I stop by, usually once a week, it is always out of order. On the third month, I kindly asked if they could please fix it, and the response I got was, "Sorry, I cannot help you with that." So now I just walk out with sad, empty hands and a subscription that feels more like a monthly donation. To be fair, the staff inside are friendly, and I know it is not their fault. But it really feels like management gave up a long time ago. Honestly, this place might need a time-out from being part of the Loop Neighborhood network until things are sorted out. So if you are here just for gas, you are good to go. If you are here for anything else, lower your expectations and maybe bring your own soap and soda just in case.

No attendant at the front to lead you or pre-spray your car, receipt printing machine not working. I bought the most expensive procedure ($16.99) and left with my car looking worse - residue from the machine, watermarks from inadequate drying (in the right position, followed the lights). I wish that I had just used a diy coin pressure washer and this point bc I ended up trying to scrub it off with the free towel you get. Would not come again
