Service - Self service. 2 star service if you need to go inside to get a printed receipt. Price - Expensive, but that is the cost for convenience. *** CUSTOMERS BE AWARE*** No wonder this Gas Station has such a low readings. I usually get my gas from here, but never a car wash. Today I decided to get a car wash. I pulled up to a pump, tap my credit card to purchase the gas and the screen asked me if I wanted a car wash and I picked the most expensive one, $14 car wash. After filling up the gas the screen saids wait for the receipt. I thought I was getting a receipt with the Car Wash code but nothing came out. So I walked inside and told the guy that receipt didn't come out for the Car Wash. He said oh you have to pay inside for the car wash. So I paid $14. When I came home and looked at my credit card transaction they charged me $14 from the pump already. They ripped me off by $14. Also, when I was getting , the Car Wash using the second code that I purchased the wash just stopped in the middle of Car Wash. So I drove my car to the front of the entrance and I told the guy hey look at my car it wasn't washed. Look at the soap. He looked at it and admitted that yeah it's not supposed to be like that. I asked him to give me a refund or give me another. Car Wash code. He said no, we cannot do that. And then he looked inside garbage can behind the counter and gave me a receipt that has a different your card authorization, not mine. I tried that and of course it didn't work. He probably gave me that receipt from another customer that was already used and thrown away I will be reporting this to. Alameda County Weights & Measures , calif. attorney, generous office and City of San Leandro Code Enforcement. When I read the Yelp reviews, I'm not the only one and they will not get away with this. I pulled up to get gas only to see the doors closed with a sign saying 15 minutes. There were two people waiting. As I headed back to my car the cashier returned. Thank God! I think they're short on a staff member today. Got my gas and continued about my journey for today. The one thing I don't like is it's located at a busy intersection so it can be difficult to exit and turn onto the street depending on the time of day and amount of traffic. Seems silly to rate a gas station, but I'm grateful for this particular location because it also has a car wash. One morning the pump I was at ran out of paper and I had to go inside for the receipt. At the register, the cashier asked if I had a stamp card and I told her I did not. As you can see from the photo, if you buy any five car washes, your sixth is free. I'm not entirely sure of the details of the sixth (if you can choose whatever car wash you want or if it's just the most basic service), but it's a pretty good deal considering most automatic washes I've been to like this don't offer a loyalty program. read more

I frequently come here to get gas and car wash. Today I came for air as one of my tires is low. The air machine is $2. I paid my $2 and tried to use it and soon realized the nozzle is missing the small hose that you connect to your valve stem. I went inside and told the cashier I was trying to use it and she said oh it's broken. I said yea I realized that after I paid. She would not refund me or even give me $2 credit on gas! She said she couldn't because the manager has to do it and there's no manager on duty today. That is just stupid. They should at least put an out of order sign on the machine. Just Ridiculous. The old woman cashier is so rude. Very bad customer service. After pay cash and pumped the diesel done, i came back to get the receipt, the lady told me she don't give out the receipt. HORRIBLE. I've been here before and usually they have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not tonight. I pull up at 10pm and get out the car. The door is locked with a sign that says "OPEN. COME IN". Came here a couple weeks ago to get my car washed and the machine stopped in the middle of my wash. I go inside to let the guy "Richard" with the mustache who drives the motorcycle know and he tells me to go call the number on the machine because it's not their machine so he couldn't give me my money back or help me otherwise. So I go outside to get the number and there wasn't one -_- I go back inside and there must have been a shift change and I explained my situation to Ken and he told me that what "Richard" had said was not correct. So I was upset because it seems "Richard" just didn't want help me. But Ken was very nice and gave me a new code to go through the wash for a finish. I appreciated Ken kelping me out and annoyed that Richard was a Richard. I would avoid the car wash there though. It's dirty and nasty on the walls and the brushes. 9:30pm-10:00pm PREPARE TO BE INCONVENIENCED BY A "SHIFT CHANGE" Got here trying to go inside and door was locked. Random man in a van parked right at the door (probably waiting for the cashier) said it's a shift change, look at the sign. I look and it's a white piece of paper written in baby blue highlighter "shift change back at 10" So many customers tried to come in to do transactions but they took forever. I knock at the door hoping to just have the air turned on and the man counting the money just ignored me. Didn't even give me a chance to ask! The car wash had ate my money and the code didn't work so I was like hm let me at least pump air into my tire. NOPE. SO I LOST $10 and about 20 mins of my time!! The cheaper gas option between this Shell and the one off Davis street by the BK, but more expensive than the Chevron off Davis near the San Leandro Bart. The staff here on a good day, pay the slightest attention to you. On any other day, they don't exactly give you the time of the day. There's usually a lot of broken pumps probably because a lot of people come in and out, as well as trucks get gas here. There's diesel pump as well as a bathroom, snack shop and a car wash- which is actually pretty worth it and does a good job. There's even the broom before the initial wash for you to wet the car and get a better clean. Downside of this gas station, there's always this company that sends their men with their cleaning products and attempts to sell you out for their products and clean your car. I guess i understand its' hard and you got to go out and find your customers, but it's really annoying when I say no and I'm just trying to get gas and hit the road. read more

Paid for a car wash at the pump, receipt didn't print. Had to walk inside for receipt and the cashier then told me the car wash was down today. I asked for a refund and he said the owner doesn't allow them to refund car washes because the code is good for 2 weeks. I told him I don't live in the area so I won't be back by then. He said sorry the manager won't let us but he offered to try calling the manager. I waited while he called and the manager told him no on the phone. Very poor business management on his part. I get that owning a business is all about the money, but you need to allow refunds in situations such as this. But the printers at the pumps are never working so you have to walk in to get receipt and code. I swung in for a quick car wash. Instead I got a gray water shower. The pre rinse comes on as you are selecting your wash and it is pointed so that you get a nice shower while you are making your selection. I spent the entire car wash smelling the gray water sludge that I had been hosed down with. read more

Just had another horrific experience at this "hell hole" place! Came in and paid the cashier woman $7 for a basic car wash. Put the code into the machine and pulled in. Machine broken, car wash did not start. Went in, told the cashier, she gave me a new code. She put in new code, drove in, car wash would not work again. Went back into the store and asked for a refund. Then the real mess began. Woman working there would not give me my $7 back. I screamed at her and told her she was stealing from me and demanded she give me the money back. She began cursing the worst words, calling me a M-F and I told her to call the police. Finally, after yelling at her for 2-3 mins, she gave me back my money. What a horrible customer service experience. Use this gas station at your own risk. I'd give this place zero stars. When I came in, the female clerk told me to hurry up because she wanted to lock up and go in break. After continuing to rush me, she threatened to not ring up my items because I took too long. And then there was a problem with the debit card reader, and she became more rude, and even snatched it from my hand. All the while, she let a homeless woman sit and eat at the coffee counter, while her make friend paced back and forth in the store. After taking my card back, I mentioned I would report her to corporate. She stated she didn't care. I filed a complaint online and received a canned response. Special needs person walk into the shell gas station here today which is Labor Day about 12:15 and asked to use the bathroom they wouldn't let her use the bathroom unless they gave her or them and ID... She was very confused and really didn't understand why I just called down their explained the situation to a gentleman that answered the phone he told me the reason is that when I give him the key they get their driver's license or ID back with that was not explain to this individual sometimes you have to take the extra effort and explain to the public or special need people And why you're asking for and identificashun.. I can understand banks are using your credit card but a bathroom that's absurd what they said was you give them your ID they give you the key you come back and you get your ID back.... I definitely need to find a different system giving somebody all your information on where you live data birth except rocks at a rock that's not right I'm very upset to the fact of 2 things they way they treated this individual by profiling and to asking for a ID with all personal information ... I will contact the proper authorities N report this problem. I'm sure the ADA organization Would love to hear this information and so with the Better Business Bureau.
