On the basis of that long experience, I would highly recommend this fuel center because of its convenient location in a good neighborhood, easy-in/out, and their clean/uncluttered lot. Now it seems, I have to drop the "highly" from my praise. In the past week I've been inconvenienced/delayed on consecutive visits by malfunctions of their computer system - momentary interruptions or unexpected reboots - either before or while I was pumping gas. Long lines form at the window while the clerk vaguely explains to each customer that we can't pump gas (or pay with credit or debit card, or get receipts for gas already pumped), because their "system has gone down". Not good, Fred Meyer. Ger 'er fixed, or customers like us (who pass up other gas stations to get to your fuel center) will soon stop visiting your location.

I told her I would like to pick my own #'s. I picked up a form and asked her how does it work. She told me to read the back of the ticket. I did and filled it out. The entire time this girl was on her cell phone and texting. When I went to pay for it my credit card would not go through because it was credit card. She told me that put it as debit. I told her its a credit card she insisted I put it as debit. Then she wanted my pin # I told her again it was a credit card. Entire time she is on her cell phone. At this point I lost my cool and told her that maybe next time she can get off her cell phone and help the customers in store. She told me she was talking to her manager. It was shocking because she was telling her that she was at work and needed to get off the phone. I found it weird that her manager was calling her on the cell and she didn't know if she was at work. At this point Dustin the name tag employee for life in orange vest told me to stop being a bitch and fuck off. I went back in to to get the managers name and now she was taking to her on the company phone and telling her the story and failed to mention that all this was happening because this girl refused to hang up her cell phone.
