So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

It most definitely won't be my last visit. The decor was so welcoming. As if you were eating in an Italian restaurant in Tuscany or your favorite Nonna's kitchen. The food and drinks were fantastic. From the hot fresh bread with fresh garlic, vinegar and oil, to the perfectly cooked pasta, to the sweet cannolis. Magnificent.

My son's daycare happened to be closed that day, so we linked up with his godmother for lunch. I gave my toddler a few options -- Chipotle, CAVA, honeygrow -- but in true toddler fashion, he wanted pizza. And not just any pizza... VEGAN pizza. As a mom of a child with allergies, finding solid vegan kid-friendly options is no small feat. We initially considered other spots, but nothing hit right until we found BurnBox in Kettering. It's located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, and the minute we walked in, I noticed a sign offering a free Plain Jane pizza when you download their app. You already know I paused entry to grab that deal. The interior is bold and modern -- black, white, and red décor, floor lettering that reads "Good Vibes Only," and an open kitchen where you can watch your pizza being made fresh. The staff was friendly, greeted us immediately, and helped us with our order. We ordered the vegan "Plain Jane" for my son and "The Godfather" pizza for the adults. Total was $23.44 before tax/tip. I appreciated the extra touch -- once the pizzas were ready, we were asked if we wanted additional toppings. I added some Old Bay to ours and oregano to the vegan pizza. My toddler loved his pizza so much he prayed over it mid-bite and almost finished the whole thing. That says a lot! Midway through our meal, I decided to try the wings -- 8 wings for $11.49 (half buffalo, half honey lemon pepper). The buffalo wings were my favorite -- crispy, juicy, oven-baked, and flavorful without being drenched in sauce. The honey lemon pepper was more of a dry rub but still tasty. Final thoughts: Kid-approved (which is tough!) Vegan-friendly options Reasonably priced Clean, fast, and welcoming atmosphere Bonus: For every pizza you purchase, BurnBox donates one to someone in need -- I LOVE a business with a purpose! BurnBox is officially added to our list of go-to spots -- especially when I need a vegan pizza option for my son at parties or gatherings. Definitely worth the visit!

The server was knowledgeable and if he didn't know the answer to one of our questions (as first-timers), he found the answer for us. All of our dishes were on point! The website states "From Farmer's Hands To Ours. It Starts With Local, Fresh Ingredients". Certainly, that statement shined with the execution and taste of our dishes! Our party of 4 ordered Smoked and Brined Chicken Wings, Fried Oysters, Spinach Salad with Blackened Chicken, Greek Salad with Shrimp, Bone-In Pork Chop (blackened, with Korean BBQ Cream, Corn & Pepper Saute, and mashed potatoes), and the Bistro Steak. Every thing was enjoyed by all! Seasonings were well-balanced, Food was tasty, salads were fresh, and portions were very decent. The Harvest Smash dessert is amazing and should be ordered! It's upside down apple pie with pecans and Bourbon Caramel - a la mode. We also ordered chocolate bourbon cake....the cake had the most perfect texture and taste. You can't go wrong with either of those. Hurry and go to this place as soon as you can.

We have celebrated many familial milestones/celebrations and professional accomplishments @ Harvest Thyme. The nostalgia of the servers and ownership has often felt engaging and alluring to me and our family & friends. My dining experience this afternoon was a far departure from the 4 stars standard experience of years clearly in the rearview. Items Ordered - The Bibb & Blue side salad was drenched in bleu dressing; I shared my concerns with our server whom was void of any response and acknowledgement. Items Ordered - 6oz Steak Frites ordered rare; The steak was served beyond the desired temperature. I waited for the server to return to our booth and I cut in the 6oz again to visually demonstrate the temperature of the steak actually arrived was definitely rare minimal/ to no pink was detectable. Our server said she would send the manager over momentarily. Once the manager arrived, he inquired about the entree and I shared and demonstrated for the 2nd time. I returned the steak frites and ordered the Beggars Pasta and added am additional Beef protein. That the conclusion of our meal as we noticed that we were charged for the entree that was returned. I inquired further and was giving a $15.00 gift card (I was charged $25.00 for an entree returned due to overcooking) by the Manager and was told "Thats All YOU get" and that the policy of the restaurant is if you order a dish you have to pay for it. When I inquired, he stated that's all you get!! I was offended as a patron, a human being, and a citizen electing to choose Harvest Thyme in a national wide affordability crisis. $127.00 for lunch is UNACCEPTABLE for lunch especially for an entree I did Not consume. No one communicated the policy beforehand nor does it seem to lineup with industry standards. $15.00 does not cover the cost & tax of the returned entree. I scoured the Harvest Thyme website and the receipt and I did not find such a policy. We were appalled by the lack of professionalism, posse, tack, empathy from the manager. His behavior and demeaner were absolutely inexcusable. Once we departed the restaurant, it was clear and present that I was upset as I retreated to my vehicle. A fellow patron encouraged me to directly communicate with ownership regarding my experience. Further research revealed the drastic decline in glowing reviews related to staffing, dining experiences, and culinary standards. Why were we treated so poorly at 1pm on a Thursday? A Concerned Customer Who paid for an entree we did not consume

The inside is extremely dark, and the old carpet makes the space feel dated. A few upgrades and design tweaks would make a huge difference. The menu is overloaded with too many options. Sometimes less is more, especially for a Caribbean restaurant trying to maintain quality and speed. Service was another issue. The wait for food was way too long, and while most restaurants cook to order, customers still expect communication and efficiency. A strong General Manager could really help tighten up operations and improve the overall experience. The food itself was decent once it arrived. One thing that didn't make sense was offering different spice levels for Caribbean food. Just serve the dishes as intended and offer pepper sauce on the side for customers who want extra heat. Overall, the restaurant has potential because of the location and decent food, but the atmosphere, service, and management side need serious improvement. I will leave a 5 but will be back ownership (address your customers sentiment), previous reviews.
