This record store surely has some well priced hard to find original music in addition to new digital remastered vinyl. Found a few original Kiss, B-52s and Ramones albums. They offer a box of absolutely FREE records with a limit of three per person. The store policy allows customers to test play vinyl on a phonograph before making any purchase - great policy.

Thank god I was close to the front of the line because they only had 2 copies of one of the records I wanted and I managed to get one before anyone in front of me bought them! I really love that they had a one item per person limit for the event. The space is nice and small but they have so many different records around that I could've spent half a day here looking through everything they had to offer! The layout is very easy to have and everything is nicely labeled and easy to search for! The prices for new records are a bit pricey, but equal to other places in the area as well as stores online. We stated we had some vinyl in the car for sale, to which she blurted out "I'm on the phone"....no "hello", or "be with you shortly", or even "hey, we aren't buying albums at this time". She was on speaker, but since no one was talking when we walked in, we were unaware. She continued her long winded call and completely ignored us, and after 20 minutes, we walked out and discovered Technique Records on NE 79th Street, which was an amazing experience, friendly staff, and bought about 50 albums from us. My brother returned to Found Sound on 9/3, thinking he'd give them another try, maybe they had a bad day, etc. He met with the male owner and said he was in the store a week before. The owner proceeded to tell him that "oh yeah, my wife said that we had a bad attitude". What owner says this? Why a bad attitude? Were we breathing too much air in the store? They acted like they were doing us a favor by being open. Do yourself a favor...go to Technique Records instead and skip this shoebox of a store.

AS stated I was looking for vinyl's, in which they had a fairly good amount of newly sealed records. I was hoping to catch a break and pick up some used records in which they did not have. nice and quiet store, location may be hard to get more onlookers to stop in.
