Celebrated Will's college graduation at Time Out Tavern. We had a good sized group ~ 20 or so. Enjoyed playing pool. The Bloody Mary was particularly spicy. Bartender was quick with the drinks. Picked up food from California Burrito. Great location and ambiance. read more

Good times and local. Billiards tables shuffle board music tvs for sports a pinball machine that will take all over your money. Awesome bartenders. You can order a pizza and wings from the next door neighbor and have it delivered to the bar. Love this place just needs more ppl to frequent it. The have a pool circuit card night trivia night. Bartenders are awesome, chill environment and everything is really clean. What a Pizza is right next door and their pizza is really good.

Ambiance was nice, a lot of locals so it felt comfortable. Place was really clean and bartender was very friendly and attentive. They do NOT serve food, thankfully I live around the corner so it's not a big issue. I did see several people ordering pizza being delivered to the establishment and some people walking across the street for tacos. Overall- experience was nice if you are trying to relax and enjoy a drink. read more

There are pool tables, but for some reason our white ball kept getting stuck in two of them. A fellow player on another table told us that two of the tables do that, and only one really works. Husband had to ask the bartender to turn on games for playoffs week. Decent beer selection, no food- gotta go next door for that. Nice and roomy inside but super loud music. read more

I came to Time Out Tavern for their Tuesday trivia and tacos night. I liked the bar. The ambiance was very cute. I liked that they had three pool tables as well. We got a couple drinks the carmichael sunrise and moscow mule. The moscow mule was great! I loved how limey it was. We also got some delicious beef and chicken quesadillas. The tortilla was crispy and golden and there were a lot of toppings and sauces to add. Very cute little bar! read more

3pm open, closes at 10 pm weeknight. Not really a place conducive for fun. Daytime bartenders are snooty and unfriendly. I think the only good thing in the bar is the jukebox. read more

giving this bar a two because even though I love this bar and the lovely bartenders, today I unfortunately had very negative racial experience here with another individual visiting the establishment. My fiancé and I had to abruptly leave to avoid any further unnecessary confrontation. I was called the N word to my fiancés face by another bar goer and we just made the decision to go leaving behind our pitcher which sucks because we paid for it and didn't get to finish it. This is a great bar but apparently if you're a person of color you should anticipate the possibility to be called a derogatory name. keep in mind i've felt uncomfortable and unwelcome by guests before because of race but today to actually have words said just changed the entire bar experience for us. read more

Terrible establishment, not clean at all, bathrooms were absolutely DISGUSTING, the service was terrible, the works attitudes were horrible, you could see them walk away talking under their breath. Just a shady establishment all around from what I saw. It definitely seemed like a shady place of business. The people that go there and work there seemed off to me for sure. I went here for trivia on a Tuesday. Trivia, tacos, Tuesday... Sounds like a night. Trivia was fun, the bartender was awesome, she definitely hooked up the alcohol. My only complaint is the chick selling tacos. I ordered my tacos(I wanted chicken). There was a sign saying "tacos $3" I ordered 2... However the lady that was making them informed me that "chicken tacos were $4.50 each, not $3" Ummm... Excuse me, where did that say that? Fine... Whatever.. Give me my chicken tacos. Paid my $9 and got my tacos. As I was eating them (we were still doing trivia) she came over to the table I was sitting at and asked me who told me that the tacos were all $3? I pointed to the flyer on the table. She snatched the flyer up and proceeded to get huffy saying " well someone obviously mispriced her tacos" I shrugged it off and was just whatever. However, she got into a very LOUD argument with another patron at the bar who was upset because they waited almost 10 minutes to get their tacos. I mean...name calling and all kinds of insults. She was arguing so loudly that they stopped the trivia questions until she was done with her ranting and raving. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what... But there was no need for her attitude. I haven't been back to trivia since then, which sucks because I truly enjoyed it. read more

When I walked into this place, I felt like Frodo when he found the ring...don't let the facade of this place fool you. This spot has everything you want in a sports bar. Cold beers, noice whiskey, pinball, TVs everywhere, and great bartenders. Only complaint is they need to get some real dart boards in there. read more
