Usually love coming in for their food but last time I came I ordered and my food came out cold. The bar was busy, and it seemed like they didn't have enough staff. Pool tables are almost always full, but it's nice to play when they are open. read more

After our work holiday party, some girls wanted to hit a bar and this place was closest so we gave it a shot. Outside had plenty of parking, as we approached the establishment, a group of heavily drunk men were about to fight. Shoulda been an indication to leave but we did not. Inside is more of a dive bar than pub/restaurant. It doesn't have very much seating as a vast majority of the place bar games. They had 2 pool tables, shuffleboard, and lots of dartboards. Pool sticks were horrible, half had no tip and the ones that did looked like someone chewed on them. We did not order food, only drinks. Coronas were $5.50 I believe, so not too bad. The bartenders were great, very personable and nice. I do give props to the female bartender because she very politely cut off my friend who for sure needed it. Overall, if divey bars are your jam this might be your spot. It's pretty far from me and I only hit up bars to play pool and since their tables/sticks are crappy, this isn't on my list of places to return. read more

Looks uninviting from the outside. By this I mean there are blacked out windows and an open sign. It's tucked behind a Mexican restaurant. You open the doors and feel right at home at a typical bar. There are plenty of tvs with plenty of sports games on. In the way back are dart boards and an electronic pong game. There are pool tables, pinball machine, and golf game. Don't forget the music player near the bathrooms. You can almost take over the bar with your music selected on the player. The bartender was nice and welcoming. While waiting to pick up two propellers for our bass boat, we thought we'd stop and get some lunch. Maddie was our server on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was friendly, efficient and attentive to our needs. My husband had a glass of their premium beer and the Old Fashion Burger. I had a glass of water with the Calamari & Chips. Natalie was an amazing bartender and was really attentive even when it was really busy. A large crowd of people walked in all at the same time and Natalie checked on my friends and I at the bar before taking their order, always made sure our drinks were refilled, and brought me condiments, napkins and utensils without even asking. The service as usual was good and the ambiance has that typical sports bar vibe and up to now the food has been well above average but today I decided to order a burger which I've had before and was more than satisfied but today what I got was a massively overcooked piece of crap. Their 1/2 lb. Patty was reduced to a 1/4 lb piece of shoe leather. If you're being paid as a cook you need to learn the difference between medium rare and well done. read more

We have been coming to Palm Street forever. We normally only go during football season. Recently Palm Street changed ownership due to the passing of John. RIP John We returned recently to try out the new menu and watch some football. It was pretty good - see pics. Ashley was the bartender & server....she is awesome! Great after work stop off - all of the games were on the multiple TV's. Staff was really friendly, and ended up getting a 1/2 order of the Nachos - so happy I got the 1/2 order..it was huge! What should have been a standard staff meeting with lunch provided, turned out to be a "welcome back from maternity leave" gathering. The atmosphere of the Palm was warm and inviting, the food was tasty and plenty of it, the bartender made killer cocktails and t.v.'s galore. When the waitress finally came over, she said , "oh hi, I just finished with all my regulars, so now I can help you"! Seemed counter intuitive to us as we were new and believed they would like to make a good impression on new customers! The flatbread pizza was burned on the bottom and the cheese on top was not fully melted, tomatoes were tasteless. So I have given it many chances. The food is now more bar food, like one expects when you go to a sports bar. Although I had the chicken nachos and came down with what I can only describe as food poisoning. I'm not going to go into details on that one. I also do not understand how you have televisions everywhere and hockey is on, college baseball is on- and we are listening to the jukebox. Why? What a great spot for a night out with friends or just to go watch a game or play trivia! The food is from scratch and on point! We had the chef's special pizza, wings and both were delicious. She ignored us multiple times to help her friends and to take shots with them. I could care less about that but it's just the way she treated us and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her while she was working. You know that scene in movies or TV where the main character goes to a strange bar and when they walk in the music cuts out and the regulars turn to look at them? This happened to my coworkers and I when we went here after our school's graduation. I felt strange for a second, but realized that these are the best places for day drinking! It is dark, just loud enough, has billiards, and the bartender gave me a healthy tequila shot. Came in with a couple of friends. I attempted to order a drink for myself at the bar and was told I could not order at the bar, that I had a server. No one carries cash anymore and just because we were together, they refused to split our check so we had to pay extra ATM fees to settle our bill.
