Terrible place for an oil change. Totally ruined my car by blowing all of the gaskets out with their oil flush that I did not order. Took it back the next day be it was leaking oil and they said they did nothing wrong. Spend the money and get someone qualified to do it. They turnover people like hot cakes. read more

Came for an oil change, they "did" the oil change but to drip oil all over everywhere so much that after a 15 minute drive home oil was dripping over my entire paved driveway speaks volumes to the character of their employees. I know changing oil is never a 100% clean job but at least taking a paper towel and wiping off the bulk of the spill would be nice. The entire undercarriage is covered in oil, it's made it's way too my tire and entire side of the truck is greased! Who does this???? Disappointed indeed!!! DO NOT GO HERE! We have been ripped off two times by this joint. Shame on us! We took our truck there and told the guy the AC was not cooling. They charged us $199 to fix it. After we left, the AC stopped cooling within 20 minutes we went back and he told us it had a leak. Why didnt they tell us this in the beginning. We asked for a refund and they told us no. We took it to another shop that charged us $233 dollars for repair and the AC has been working for over a year now and is ice cold. We wrote to customer service, filed a claim, sent documentation they requested and also called - they refused to do anything for us. BAD BAD BAD customer service. Dishonest company. read more

I highly recommended this location (Valvoline on 64). I've been to this location several times now. And each time the service has been professional, and the staff has been very courteous. And they actually perform all of the inspections, refill fluids, and check and adjust tire pressure, etc. without being prompted (all part of the services we pay for, but many other places unfortunately fail to perform). read more

Great team of guys! Great customer service and excellent transparency! Quick and efficient! Super happy and would absolutely recommend and return! My only con is that to put a headlight bulb in for someone the company charges $24.99 which is what the bulb cost itself and is an easy 60sec job. Personally feel that is outrageous. If it was half that I would have been happy to pay for the service but know how to do it myself no problem, I just kept forgetting while the car was cool. I would love to see the company set the employees up for better success for commission opportunities! read more

They don't know how to line cars up outside so that people don't get skipped. Every time I go, it's roughly a 2 hour long process sometimes more. I always end up waiting while 2 or 3 cars after me go through before me. They need a better system and management of which bays to use for quick maintenance to get the quick services through efficiently. read more

Amazing experience this morning at the SR64 location. Branden was so helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I specifically came to this location and avoided the SR70 location based off other yelp reviews. I asked him why they have such bad reviews and he said the SR70 location is much busier and harder to get in and out of. I absolutely was thrilled with my experience. Truly in and out in 15mins. There was a whole team of friendly guys working together to check out my entire vehicle and change the oil. I thought that it was cool to stay in the car during the oil change. It made the experience very transparent. Sometimes you hear stories of shops messing with other things during a routine oil change. Not the case here. Branden gave me recommendations for things to service and watch for, but he was not pushy at all. These guys were honest, fast, and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to this location for my next oil change. read more

I took my car into valvoline on State Road 64 after work for an oil change.. they completed my car and I drove off.. the next morning I am hearing a strange noise going down the interstate when I get to work in Venice I crawled under to find my skid plate had been dragging from Ellenton to Venice it was never put back on properly and missing the push pins that hold it together I ended up duck taping it so I can complete my work day.. in between my jobs I ended up calling them they told me to bring it back and they would fix it by putting it back properly.. I told him that was fine but now I have both corners that had been burnt off by dragging.. he then said ok I understand we will have to take a look at it and probably order you a new one.. so I stopped in all they did was put the push pins in.. I then ask about the holes I now have they said it wasn't their fault they didn't do it.. I told them if my car was put back together the way it came in as this wouldn't have never happened.. he said he understood that..but they tried to convince me it was fine for me to have holes on both sides when I new better.. it's not ok.. now animals can get in..the manager felt they fix my car and wanted no part of replacing the skid plate.. so the next day I called corporate .. all they did was called the manager at the store and the manager tells corporate they are not replacing the skid plate.. then corporate calls and said claim denied so I decided I'm not walking away quietly I feel they took advantage of a single woman.. it's not right. It was their neglect that caused this.. they should be held responsible.. my advice is DO NOT GOT TO Valvoline on State Road 64 and spread the word!! They did me wrong!!! Then they reply saying it's been resolved. Nothing has been resolved. I still have two holes in my skid plate. They leave a phone number to call to tell you everything you already knew. Bad bad company do not stand behind their work I'd advise you to read the reviews and start with one star this is happened multiple times. read more

Everyone else working worked 3 times harder than the manager. Costumer service is obviously not his priority. On 2/23/24 I had my oil changed here. On 2/24/24, I was driving two hours North and my check engine light came on and forced my car into limp mode. I immediately took the next exit and found oil coming out of the bottom of my car. My husband called the shop and was asked to have it towed and they would then repair it and give me 20% off oil changes for life, however, due to my location the tow bill was going to be $1600. They sent a manager from a different location to investigate the issue. After four hours, the manager said she couldn't be sure there wasn't an additional leak from the oil pan gasket but that she had replaced the oil filter (dimple was found in the seal), added oil and sprayed brake clean all under the hood and in my oil pan. In addition, oil had sprayed all over and under my car. I then drove the vehicle home stopping every 20 miles to check my oil levels. I took the car to GMC where it was verified the leak came from the filter, the engine had been starved of oil and recommended a professional cleaning for the underside, engine and exterior from someone with a tilting lift which was done. After spending hours in a parking lot waiting for Valvoline to attempt to fix this issue and hours on the phone trying to reach their area manager, I haven't received so much as a phone call let alone an update on my claim. Parts fail and employees become complacent (filter was not checked for defects) which is understandable, however, the lack of resolution or even communication from Valvoline is appalling. We opened a claim with them immediately and to date have not received a call back from their area manger, Cole. If I could leave zero starts I would but RUN from this place! read more

They stripped my oil plug and had to have my oil pan replaced; Did a claim after being assured they would take care of it, but since it was discovered the next time I had my oil changed at a different company, the claim was denied despite having pictures with their oil filter etc. So $800 later. What a hassle which is exactly the opposite of their whole reason for being. Do yourself a favor and just find a decent mechanic for everything, this was a horrible experience and for what? read more

This store is so easy to get in and out of thanks to the light @ Wawa, the staff is friendly and if I opt for additional services I prefer this location because I can hop over to Wawa for a snack! Stopped in to get an oil change. Before I arrived I just had my bmw 430i washed. Valvoline didn't have my oil filter and said they were going across the street to auto zone to buy one.. ok not the most professional. The person helping me at valvoline goes over everything with me concerning price etc.. according to my invoice all fluid levels were checked, tire pressure was supposed to be good. I get 30 min down the road and my low engine coolant warning light comes on, I never seen this light come on in my car and everything was perfectly fine when I got there. Had to buy engine coolant from an auto parts store, I look over my vehicle and there are greasy finger prints all over my freshly washed car. I decided to then check my tires since things on the invoice from valvoline clearly were not checked, all tires are 3 to 5 lbs low and my oil change service light was never reset as the invoice stated it was. 7/16/23 was when I visited the valvoline location on st rd 64 in Bradenton fl. I have sent several emails to customer service and have gotten no acknowledgment whatsoever. Maybe this review will finally get someone's attention. read more

I had a Groupon for this business. When I pulled in, I was immediately greeted and they started working on my car away. I didn't even have to get out!! Ryan, the manager was very informative and professional. He explained to me that I will need an extra little bit of oil, my Groupon only covered 5 quarts. No problem! I went there for synthetic oil change after the oil change I notice my oil leaking all over my driveway because they put oil filter on loose and they didn't put splash shield on with clip so it dragged until I noticed and had to purchase new clips to fix what they did. Went here after I was treated rudely at a different oil change place. Was greeted and served right away. All lanes were full but all employees seemed happy. Super respectful and helpful. I came here for the first time and will definitely be coming back. I understand that they upsell but if you say your not interested they respect that. I told the guy I just need an oil change today but am interested in other services and he gave me a whole print out and thoroughly explained each one. Went there today to get a tail light fixed. Soon after pulling up to the stalls, a nice lady came out to ask what was our need for the day. I told her I needed the tail light and turn signal fixed and asked if they do that? She was like we certainly do. A few minutes later was directed into a stall. Kayleigh seemed to be directing the place and man, she was good at it. She was kind and respectful to her co-workers, but gave direction which they followed. She was nice to me as a customer. Very relatable as a person. I can't say enough how nice this visit was. Wish there were more people out there that had such a great attitude and work ethic as she did. Do not go here!! I have used Valvoline multiple times for my oil changes so I decided to send my girlfriend in to get hers done. When they discussed pricing it turned out to be much more expensive then where she normally goes so she decided not to proceed and that's when the male chauvinistic manager Ezekiel informed her that it was too late and that her oil had been drained. Your price is your price and that is fine but the way she was treated and basically forced into the oil change is unacceptable. I will never again use this store and my message will be shared through every avenue it can. read more
