Unfortunately, this hotel does not reward loyalty in any fair manner. During check-in, the person in front was a titanium elite member, and the front desk informed them that they upgraded them to a nice suite for their stay. When we came to check in with an ambassador elite member, the front desk did not care and did not even provide any form of an upgrade. This is extremely disappointing as ambassador elite members have stricter requirements and are the top Marriott status you can achieve. The hotel should prioritize their top members rather than just giving it randomly to other members and not even acknowledging it. Second, everything in this spot is outdated. The hotel, the rooms, the fitness center, the elevators, the hallways. Everything looks like it is at least 30 to 40 years old. As noted in the first paragraph, service was not good as staff gave upgrades to lower status members and not the highest status members. I will say that the lounge on the concierge floor is pretty good and better than the other options in the Albuquerque area.

I recently stayed here for four nights while working in Albuquerque. This is an old property that has seen better days. I was on the Club Floor, 8, which presented some challenges for the plumbing. The tub only barely drained, leaving me ankle-deep in my own yuck some days. The water pressure is quite poor, and moves between a large trickle and a regular trickle. Water temperate wildly fluctuated between hot and warm without me touching the handle. I have a feeling that if I had not stayed on the top floor, the plumbing would have worked better. The TV was HUGE, the room quite large, the bed really comfy, and housekeeping was on point, coming every day. I had access to the 8th floor Club which was really nice, including evening appetizers, drinks, liquor, and a server who smiled. I loved the Gilchrist & Soames shampoo/conditioner/body lotion/handsoap/body soap in warm oak which smelled so great. I'm a Bonvoy member, and was very surprised that Sheraton is a part of Marriott, so I get points and accumulate nights stayed. The location of this hotel is really great, only a couple blocks from ABQ Uptown, across the street from Coronado Mall, and within walking distance of Winrock Mall. Food is easy to find around this hotel, with a breakfast place and Chili's in the parking lot. ENJOY, and Sweet Dreams!

This hotel has potential but it needs some work. Yes, it's in a great location close to a popular shopping mall and several restaurants but the hotel itself is very outdated. Hotel rooms supposedly have been remodeled but all I've noticed is a brand new useless 75-inch tv with zero smart tv capabilities. The only channels available to watch are a handful of local channels and that's it. No Netflix or HBO login. That's a huge blow for me. The beds are comfortable and the room itself is very spacious. Gym is available 24 hours/day. There's an onsite hotel restaurant that's alright. I ordered the NY strip steak and it was pretty good. The drinks at the bar were weak. I had a margarita and I had to ask for an extra shot to taste anything. How much was the extra shot? $15. Yeah.. overpriced. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

I enjoy having meetings here. Conference rooms are the right size for a small group. Starbucks is inside, yup SB. Very clean, I see cleaners all the time. If you're a regular they will even bring in special liquor for you. Blueberry vodka is the bomb in the lunge area. They will even make you something to eat. Burgers and fries are actually really good here, I was surprised. Service is great, always checking on you.

Walked some while waiting for our table. There's a small cafe in the lobby area. It's simple and clean inside. The bathroom was super clean too.

Sink gurgled sounds and backed up at night. Gross black gunk in the sink.

We stayed in this gross hotel during a recent road trip (just needed to sleep and we were only there for about 8 hours total.). This hotel is not well run. The room was filthy, I didn't even want to put my bags down anywhere or sit in any of the furniture. The bathroom sink gurgled and backed up while we were sleeping (see the photo). When I told the front desk about it they barely even acknowledged the complaint and just sort of shrugged it off without even apologizing or asking us how they could help mitigate our concern. The coffee shop in the lobby was way overpriced and the people running it seemed more like they were volunteers at a coffee table at an office offsite seminar than they were actually working running a coffee shop in a hotel. Make sure to lock your car and don't leave anything valuable in it because there are stoned out people wandering around; it does not seem like a safe area of town. We saw vagrants hanging around when we arrived and when we left in the morning. One was digging through the trash near the curb in the front of the lobby porte cochere. I would only recommend staying here if you have NO OTHER OPTIONS. You would be better served by a motel like a Holiday Inn Express or Days Inn or something down the Highway for about half the price. Look at the photos.

I guess if you want to sleep in filth and get a disease then this is the place you'd want to go- Price gouging at its finest for Fiesta, staff are a bunch of self righteous facetious kids that can't do their jobs right.....how hard is it to write the correct room number on a card. Get to the room and what do you know.....filth. Look at the pictures and tell me you'd pay $300 to stay here. I've been to $30 HoJo's that were cleaner and had better employees.

I have been staying at this hotel periodically for over 6 years. Pre-Covid it was a pretty nice place but in the past two years it has turned into a dump. I'll start with customer service. Advertised bar hours for Saturday were open until 130am. I rolled in a few minutes before mid night and couldn't order because the bar tender decided to close at midnight. Got to bed about 1am but up early because the housekeeping staff would have to try extra hard if they wanted to make even more noise in the hall. Went down to the Sol Cafe to get some coffee. Supposed to be open until 3p. No one there. Front desk staff is dimissive and boardline rude. Room was third rate. Security latch on the door broken, dirty torn carpet, no hot water at the sink. Terrible property.

Filthy, disgusting and just plain gross. Nice location, but that's about it. I literally wore shoes in my room because the carpet is that filthy. I didn't even want my socks to touch ground.

A comfortable, affordable spot to rest on a short weekend trip to Albuquerque. This hotel worked out great for us since we were out and about most of the weekend. The location is a short drive from the airport and rental cars, taking us about 15 minutes from the Rental Car Facility. We found it to be central to everything we wanted to do in town, never driving more than 20 minutes to get anywhere. Just a few minutes away is ABQ Uptown which is a large, beautiful outdoor shopping center with restaurants as well. There's also a Target on the edge of the shopping center. Everything you could need is within minutes of the hotel. The parking lot in front of the hotel offers plenty of parking in a well-lit lot with minimal walking to the hotel entrance. Major bonus, parking is free. Inside the hotel is a large lobby bar, a full service restaurant, and a limited market/coffee shop offering Starbucks coffee. We must have been some of the last to check in because our room looked like it was designed for a wheelchair. Not a big deal, this just meant the room was more spread out and open. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We never heard noise from outside or surrounding rooms so it was easy to sleep well at night. The room included a small refrigerator and coffee maker which are my major musts. A comfortable hotel at a good price in a central location, I'd stay again when visiting Albuquerque.

When we walked onto the patio and took in those sweeping views of the Sandias, I was ready to love this place. Los Poblanos has all the ingredients of a truly special dining experience: a gorgeous setting, a thoughtful farm-to-table ethos, and a menu that promises something above the ordinary. Which is exactly why the evening's annoying missteps were so disappointing. Service was well intentioned but unpolished. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and, at times, unfamiliar with the menu -- a problem when guests are asking genuine questions about the food and wine. We ordered bread which came before our drinks were served. Wine service was inconsistent. I ordered an Albariño by the glass - 6 oz. My sister ordered the Cabernet listed on the menu as a recommended pairing for her entrée, priced at $11. After we placed our drink orders, the waiter returned to inform her that the menu price was incorrect -- the wine was actually $18. She agreed to proceed. He then asked whether she wanted "a half glass or a full glass," which is an oddly imprecise question at a restaurant whose menu specifies pours in 3, 6, and 9 oz increments. She said half glass. What arrived was 3 oz of wine in a small serving carafe, which the waiter simply poured into her glass -- no bottle presented, no taste offered. My own Albariño, by contrast, was brought to the table in the bottle with a proper taste before pouring. The disparity in service between the two of us was striking. A simple, clear statement -- "3 oz of this wine is $18, not $11; would you still like it?" -- would have resolved everything cleanly. Instead, the vague "half or full glass" framing left my sister without the information she needed to make an informed choice. For what it's worth, the wine itself was extraordinarily tannic -- borderline undrinkable -- and I would have sent it back. My nephew ordered a top shelf whiskey. The waiter told him "we don't have that". My nephew said "it's on your menu" to which the waiter responded "oh, let me check on that". There seemed to be too many instances of the waiter running back to the bar to check on stuff. Anyway, it was available. The waiter apologized. We ordered the bread which was served before our drinks arrived. Food took about an hour which is fine - I don't have an issue with that but during that time we never saw the waiter again. I ordered the soup of the day - potato and leek which was delicious. Followed by the blackberry salad, which was my main course. Both arrived simultaneously, with the salad placed in front of me and the soup set to the side as an afterthought. At a restaurant at this price point, the expectation that soup precedes salad is not an eccentricity -- it is simply correct service. When I expressed my surprise, the servers seemed genuinely puzzled, which suggests this may be a training gap rather than an isolated incident. As for the salad itself -- it was pleasant, but pleasant is not enough here. The blackberry salad was the kind of thing you might enjoy at a well-run casual chain: competently assembled, inoffensive, and forgettable. At a farm-to-table restaurant with access to exceptional local ingredients, I expect the plate to reflect that -- more intentional presentation, more layered flavors, something that is more elevated than what was presented. This one didn't. The gap between the setting and what landed on the table was wider than it should have been. My sister and nephews ordered the filet mignon and rib eye. Both arrived pre-sliced -- a presentation trend that has made its way into fine dining, though one that divides opinion. My concern, beyond personal preference, is practical: sliced meat loses heat faster, and at roughly $80 per entrée, guests should receive their steak in the condition that best showcases it. The quality was good, not exceptional. Los Poblanos is a restaurant with genuine promise and a setting that few can match. The concept is right; the execution needs work. The issues I encountered -- inconsistent wine service, course sequencing, and a discombobulated waiter-- are not kitchen problems. They are fixable. I hope the restaurant takes that seriously, because the bones here are excellent and the experience should be too.
