We held a party for almost 300 and stayed one night in this hotel. It was beautiful and comfortable, but I took off one star as the front desk seemed understaffed for the amount of customers, and most of the other nearby hotels offer a pool for the same price as this place. I removed another star because i wished the food was better. The beds, pillows and bedsheets in the room were very comfortable. I wished they had more/better lighting though. Everything else was fairly standard. The ballroom was beautiful and I enjoyed the modern styled chandeliers. The are adjacent to the ballroom was large and handled the pre-dinner crowd very well. The service was hit or miss. Front desk (3/5). Seemed understaffed for the amount of customers. Event Manager (0/5). The first event manager left the company before our event, and failed to take notes or relay any information to their successor before our event. Event staff (4/5). During the event, the entire staff was helpful and most were friendly. Buffet (3/5). Loved the salmon, but the chicken was tough and lacked flavor. The kids loved the pasta but I thought it was bland. The potatoes and veggies were blah.

I have been staying here regularly for the past several years unless there is an event that would create noise at night e.g. wedding events. Most of the time, the club is clean and well stocked but this time, the snacks were limited and the coffee machine stopped working by day 2. Parking is never an issue here and is free. There are nearby places to eat, just in case you choose not to use Lela's. Rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly. The fitness center is small but decent for what my needs are here.

Customer service was excellent. I didn't have any issues from the time I checked in to checking out. Front desk in the photo had an excellent customer service. I was pleased on how he treated me and my family with the most welcoming experience as if we were part of his family. Thank you and I look forward to come back and stay with you guys again. Bartender in the restaurant was awesome as well. Love the hospitality he provided as well.

This was a nice hotel near Minneapolis for a Saturday to Sunday stay. The outside view of the hotel was pretty old looking except the entrance. It is definitely more modern and nicer looking. When we walked into the hotel, it was a little strange since it was encased, kind of looked like the outside with a tent over it. But once we checked in, we got a complimentary suite upgrade which is always a nice thing and access to the club lounge. The room itself was pretty amazing! The suite was about 1,000 square feet with a huge living room and dining table, 1.5 bathrooms, king size bed, huge bathroom with two sinks, a bath rub, and a shower (with two shower heads! Check pictures below). It was pretty fancy and really well kept. The club lounge was pretty good too, no hot foods, just snacks and drinks to snack on. There was a business area to do work on desktops and print things out. Also tons of tv screens to watch whichever channel you wanted. The fitness center was also very impressive! I loved their treadmills since it simulated real life runs and trails around the world so that was pretty nifty. All their equipment were placed in the right order and they had a lot of complimentary towels and waters in the fitness room. Overall, I enjoyed the stay at the Sheraton hotel. They were very accommodating and even brought me contact lens solution since I forgot it. Super awesome! And I was surprised how packed it was considering how old the infrastructure was on the outside, but never judge a book by its cover!

We really enjoyed our stay here, even with this pandemic/riots we felt safe and the room and hotel over all feels very clean. Andrew was also very nice and helpful as well as the rest of the staff. We will definitely plan on staying here again. I recommend getting their coffee machines (they take them out of each room for sanitary purposes after each check out) and getting the Peet's coffee that comes with it. Really good and really strong. My only wish for next time would be if they had better sugar (sugar in the raw, etc) and regular half and half (not the non dairy stuff), but that's small potatoes and I can live with that :) It's also a very beautiful hotel inside!

I did not get any upgrade and I'm titanium elite, so that was unexpected. My room was ok. The towels were over washed and you just dread drying off to that sandpaper. They really need to up their towel game and provide luxuriously soft towels. The shower is great and then the towels just suck. The bed was comfy but the headboard had some serious damage. The coating was rubbing off which became sticky and was trapping my hair and pulling it out. The room would not cool. We arrived at 6pm and the thermostat was set to 72 yet the room was 77?!? We set it to 66. At 3am it was only 72. By 6am it was only 71. The AC kept turning on and off. I don't know why it turned off when it NEVER reached goal temp. We had dinner in the restaurant which will be a separate review. However- the lobby restaurant is what you use when you're dining- and the bathroom was absolutely ATROCIOUS. It was so bad- I went straight to the hotel desk to inform them of my disgust. The women's bathroom had three overflowing trash cans- filled with paper towels and fast food/takeout cups and bags etc. The first stall was in use, so I tried the second one- nope. FULL OF DIARRHEA. The third stall, ALSO FULL OF DIARRHEA. The fourth stall had a toilet seat cover on and was full of used toilet paper. Why are the automatic flushers not flushing? The last stall also had some lingering toilet paper but at least did not have chili corn brown diarrhea in it. I was afraid to touch anything since there's a diarrhea epidemic on the news. So you can see why I ran straight to the desk to let them know their cleaning was non existent. What a complete lack of oversight by the management. Is this the reputation that JW Marriott wants??? I let them know the bathroom was a health hazard and an emergency and needed attention right away. Their apology was weak, saying I could go upstairs to the second floor to use the restroom. I told them I'd rather go up to my room on the 14th floor. Their response was disappointing. They did clean up the bathroom, as I checked while using it after dinner, before going to the mall of America. The concierge lounge was a nice perk with my loyalty status but on Friday and Saturday it is closed other than for a bowl of fresh fruit, a mini fridge of sodas, bottled waters and a fancy coffee/tea machine. They don't even let you in to access the candy. Parking was easy. We self parked which is $27 plus tax and there's an elevator that takes you straight to the lobby. We enjoyed the easy access to mall of America. The gym looked spacious, with lots of equipment. The indoor pool has no hot tub. There were screaming kids running around the pool so we decided to forgo it. The restaurant will be a separate review- it was great. The lobby bar looked good- a little different food menu than the restaurant. The room itself, 1413, had a large spacious barroom and a nice lounge chair. City view was meh. Appreciated the Nespresso machine with the complimentary bottled water. Small mini fridge. Robes appear nice (we didn't use them). The bathroom soaps were great! They didn't smell too manly like most hotels. Pillows were the best thing in the room. Bed was pretty good too. But the room was too hot and the towels were ruined. I did appreciate their QR code where you can order room service or amenities such as champagne, local beer trip? Cheese board, dessert, a teddy bear etc- that's a really nice option for stays more than 1 night (needs 24 hour advance notice). I would not stay here again. This mall area has multiple other hotels and I believe the intercontinental at the airport is the nicest hotel in the area. For a JW Marriott, I was verydisappointed.

On another occasion I brought up to staff that there was dirt being tracked in the stairway and onto the landing area of the carpet and it was taken care of by the time I got back a couple hours later. The room, one bedroom, was nicely laid out. Bath vanity nightlight is a nice touch. Nice, hot water too. It was really cool to have two types of pillows on the bed and the pillowcases actually tell you if they're firm or soft. Bed was very comfortable. I found the room to be quiet other than a little road noise. In the little kitchen, it would be nice to have something other than powdered creamer for coffee (could have the little containers of creamer that are available at the breakfast counter. And the only spoons were large spoons. Breakfast had some nice options with staff constantly refreshing items. The make your own waffles are always a treat. Only a couple of negatives. The Monday-Wednesday "social" is a nice idea, but it's really just one or two little nibbles. Nothing else. And the with bathroom fan is very noisy. I did mention this to staff. Overall a great option in the area.

He kindly guided us to the service elevator and went with us down to the lobby. Awesome service. Thank you. With the hotel only having one elevator working, esp with a home hockey game going on in addition the the American Legion Auxiliary hosting a leadership training course today, it was a doozy trying to get to our rooms. The food was great during the seminar, and the service at the bar was great. Thank you. The final night there, I did go down to order dinner (supper), and ordered "rooted vegetable farrotto", but what I got wasn't was described on the menu because it was supposed to have butternut squash, sweet potatoes, parsnips, red onion, kale, and Italian faro, but there were peas and carrots, no kale or parsnips, and I wasn't sure if the other orange square was the squash or sweet potato in addition to the carrots. The waiter returned it for me and I ordered the roasted rooted vegetables, which was what I originally wanted, but saw the other dish listing faro and Parmesan. The other dish was way better because I could see all the ingredients listed. Thank you, Hyatt. The bed was hard on both nights. I was tossing and turning and could only stay on one side before my hip would hurt. Customer service and food were great/good, but overall stay was not. Sorry Hyatt. Thanks to Hotels.com, where I booked my hotel room at the Hampton Inn Bloomington East. Hampton Inn is a good name hotel brand that's owned by Hilton hotels, I believe. Fast forward when I arrived here via Uber from the Mall of America after a day of shopping and things. I stayed here for a night and it was comfortable and pleasant. I arrived here around 4pm on a Friday afternoon and got checked in. The front desk counter Service here was pretty good and got checked in within five minutes. The check out service was non existent since I left the hotel around 6am and there was a hotel key lockbox, so I just dropped the hotel key in there and checked out the complementary hotel breakfast before I was on my way. It was only one night and enjoyed a few of the hotel's amenities, namely the ice machine and the aforementioned complimentary breakfast. I choose the hotel because of its proximity to Normandale Lake Park, which was around a mile walk from the hotel. I enjoyed the lobby and it was fresh and clean. The hotel room I got was a king bed. I probably paid about $149/night but that was okay, since I wanted to be close to the park. The hotel room itself was good and typical. It was clean and had all the basic amenities most hotels in the industry has. It was a typical hotel room that met expectations and was a good stay. Everything worked in the room, including the TV and the shower. No problems during my stay and it was good. The overall experience here at this Hampton Inn hotel in Bloomington, MN was good and nice. I feel like Hampton Inn is a good place to choose for your hotel needs. The brand is owned by Hilton, I believe, so you'll be in good hands. The room itself had a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Getting else was standard. It is cool to be lounging in the room, eating dinner, while watching TV. Something cool and nice about it while traveling away from home. The room itself was clean and everything worked the way it should be. The complimentary breakfast was hit or miss. It just depends on what you enjoy in a good breakfast. I did enjoy unlimited self service orange juice though. Had about 5 cups of it before I left the hotel to Normandale Lake Park. The king bed was quite nice and very comfortable. Got in a decent amount of sleep and felt moderately Refreshed for the day ahead. Definitely enjoyed the stay here at this Hampton Inn location in Bloomington, MN. Whether your stay in Minneapolis is business or pleasure, consider this Hampton Inn hotel to be your place to stay and thrive. While Hampton Inn does cover the basics of a full service hotel, it doesn't have everything like many of the fancy ones do. Prices here are reasonable per night and the location is in a nice neighborhood away from the downtown area of Minneapolis. This Hampton Inn hotel is located in Minneapolis, MN. It's about a 15 ish minute drive from the Mall of America in Bloomington. Like many hotels in the industry, they accept major credit cards thru direct bookings on their website or through 3rd party websites like Hotels.com. They are physically located at 1234 Main Street, Bloomington, MN. As far as parking goes, they have parking here for hotel guests. Not sure if they do long term parking for other people but probably a money make for certain. Not sure about Minneapolis' public transportation options, but best bet would be to check out what routes are needed to arrive at this hotel, whether it's coming from the airport or wherever your origin destination may be. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood of Minneapolis, so you can be sure that you have a good reason to come to this Hampton Inn and have an enjoyable stay, whenever the need arises. Consider the Hampton Inn hotel as your home away from home when you visit the Hampton Inn. It was a nice stay and hope to return again when my future travels permit me to do so. 5.0 stars for the overall experience, namely the location to Normandale Lake Park. 4.0 stars for the service and 4.5 stars for the room comfort.
