Sheri, the owner was very rude to customers and her own staff. I've also heard this from other people . The food was undercooked and she got an attitude when we told her about it saying that she'd have to basically charge us for the new food. The salad bar was half empty and nasty . Food was way overpriced and she kept talking to people about how she was evicted from her last place . She's completely pathetic . She even blocked me after posting a review on her Facebook page . She's just a big s##t talker because that's what she did the whole time we were there, just talking bad about owners in the past putting them down . It was annoying listening to her . Our waitress Shannon was great super attentive and very nice! However my boyfriend and I both ordered the BLT because the menu was very confusing so we both ended up getting something simple. I asked for no tomatoes on mine and when it came out it had tomato no big deal can take them off, but the bacon was so undercooked that it looked like almost raw bacon. Our waitress took back my sandwich and brought me a new one, my boyfriend was done eatting at this point,when the new one came out now the bacon was sooooo done that it was dark black and would just crumble into pieces. It's hard to review this establishment since my history is with Mama's Italian who's was our favorite in the North Woods. Since then, this is the second establishment to be at this location. It's a typical local bar in a building not really laid out for the type of business they have set themselves up as. Menu was bar food and although the picture windows a view are special, it's a bar atmosphere. Food was very good. Try the Ruben Potato Kegs if you're looking for a different app. They can be added to as a side for an upcharge. Have had them as both on different occasions. The Portobello Mushroom pieces are very good too. Burgers are decent. I have tried the Black & Blue and the Green Olive burgers. The Green Olive is different from a lot of other places. The B&B was very good. POV the right amount of Bleu Cheese and BBQ sauce on the side. The minor shortcoming is the bun could be a bit more "durable" so to speak. It's toasted and delicious but about half way through you almost need to go to knife and fork eating. Service was very good. First let me say this isn't our first time at Sheri's. We have enjoyed our meals in the past but the last 3 time have not been good. We had the Fish Fry last night and the device was slow, Fish was under cooked and doughy. The coleslaw tasted like the lid from the container was left off and absorbed the smells of the fridge. Macaroni was ok but very dry! The best part of the meal was the potato pancake! Fantastic. Service was slow to the point Sheri was backfilling! Last time we were there was a Saturday night and had prime rib sandwich which we've had before from there and it was very underwhelming. It's heart breaking to post a review like this because we loved it at first when she moved from the Dam bar but unfortunately we won't be back! read more

Stoped there last Saturday night, I had the Prime Rib dinner and my wife had the prime rib sandwich, both specials of the night. Needless to say I am glad I had tums at home. While the service was ok, the food was almost in digestible. Needles to say we will not return for more torture. read more

We ate at Sheri's this past Thursday and had an excellent meal. We had an appetizer of Tater Kegs which were a new treat for us and were quite good. The girls had two different hamburgers (huge) on Brioche Buns and I had possibly the best grilled chicken sandwich ever! Sweet potato fries were great. Cocktails were nicely done. Have been there 3 times, 2 out of 3 we watched take out orders go out before our food came. It was a Friday-our group was there by 4:30 as we live here and know Friday is early dinner. We left because we were told it would be an hour before a table was available and we had young children. The rest of our group waited 1 1/2 hours for table, then waited over an hour for their food as they watched fish fries go out the door. Went on a Monday, very good food, poor waitress was running around crazy as we got up to get refills for our drinks. Went on a Sunday for chicken special. was there by 4:45-quiet got seated right away at a table. Ordered chicken which is their special on Sunday. Waited over an hour for the special. Orders getting picked up going out as we sat that long waiting for ours. Orders by phone should be in order as orders come in,via restaurant and phone. great chicken! They need to work on figuring out the problem with pick up orders/ verses in restaurant orders. I'd be back if they get this figured out. read more

the service was good but that's about all. we had the fish fry which was one of the worst we ever had. There was way too much batter which overpowered the fish. after taking a lot of the batter off the fish wasn't that good. seems like the batter was supposed to help the flavor but it didn't. the tartar sauce was overly sweet. we got like 12 fries which could have been quite a bit crispier. the rye bread pieces were pasted together with butter and you couldn't get them apart so each bite was more like a butter sandwich. could also have been hotter. They weren't that busy so there wasn't an excusewfor that. Definitely won't be going back. read more

We attempted to call ahead however their phones haven't worked, we sat at the bar and was told it was going to be up to 30 minutes for a table of 6, we then received some of the slowest inattentive service even for Northwoods standards. There's an overwhelming oil smell in the air, and the dining room carpet looks like it needs a good cleaning or replacing. It's grungy. After a little less than 1.5 hours at the bar we got pointed to our table while, I believe the owner, announced there was no more cod.. we had asked the bartender before how the supply was and she said they had plenty more. I got the the last order of deep fried cod, let's just say it was for the best they ran out. My only positive was Britney, our service, she was very happy, friendly, and she helped us out a lot it must be a challenge in that environment. Hopefully she takes up employment somewhere else in the area, she's awesome. However, the food was all bland, cold, and had slight very odd flavor. The owner/management didn't seem to give a care not even a blink. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years, served, cooked, and owned, so I would understand a few kinks but holy Shitshow! If you were to ask me I would say steer clear! You can find way better service/food/friendly owners at any other bar in the Northwoods. read more
