I ordered a gluten free pizza crust and asked for the toppings that are on their Delux pizza. Everything was perfect. Easy to call in and order for pickup. Pizza was done at the stated time and most importantly. It was super delicious. My husband picked the pizza up on. Thursday evening and said there were two people at a table. Last time he picked up the tables were full and 4 people waiting for pickup. The difference between summer and when the kids are back in school. We stopped in to dine in for pizza tonight at Minocqua Pizza Company, and we were greeted by two very friendly women - a mother daughter duo. They were so nice throughout our whole dining experience. We ordered a standard pizza, and the taco specialty pizza, as well as the Billy Bread as an app. Probablysome of the better pizza we've ever had. The taco pizza had tons of toppings and was a fun twist for us. The crust is what makes these pizzas so good, relatively thick with a great crisp to it. The pizza is traditional hand tossed pizza, the sauce is delicious and they don't skimp on the toppings, at all. We had the supreme, and the sausage was the real deal Italian sausage. My family is up in the north woods and we were looking to do a low key pizza night. It took us a little while to find this place but when we had the pizza in hand we were pleasantly surprised that it was good the stars were the crust and toppings. We totally over ordered we got 4 16in pizzas. 2 pepperoni they put the pepperoni underneath the cheese and cut it in squares. If you like the triangle cut better I'm sure you can request it. 1 taco pizza which sounds super strange but tastes good it even comes with taco sauce and sour cream. 1 sausage and mushroom pizza. So we are finally starting to venture out into this COVID infected world to order some take away from local restaurants. We called in our order and it was ready to be picked up when promised. When we arrived to pick it up we noticed a sign saying that "due to medical conditions some employees might not be masked." From what we could see, no employees were masked. There are virtually no medical conditions that prevent people, especially food handlers, from wearing masks. This alone is why I will never return to the Minocqua Pizza Company. Pizza was okay even though it wasn't what we ordered (we got someone else's pizza). Customer service was horrible! We didn't get our beverages until we were done eating, weren't given plates or utensils and were overcharged. We couldn't get waiters attention because he was so overwhelmed with the approximately 20 customers that he was waiting on all by himself. He was taking orders, bringing out food, taking call in orders, and collected payments. Every order was wrong! I realize that staffing shortages exist everywhere but when things get so bad that people are walking out without paying because they have been there 3 hours already and can't wait any longer for bill (yes we witnessed that), I'd say you're better off closing . We won't give this place a second chance. There are many other places to get a great pizza and great customer service & atmosphere. read more

I tried this place mostly due to limited options on a tuesday in wi, and a lot of good yelp reviews. Everyone which said they were a pizza snob and this was great pizza is wrong. The sausage is i dont know from where but it is not itally. The sauce tastes like they never heard of oregano, or gralic or pepper for that matter you know flavor. The crust was not bad for what it was. Poppa johns style not thin not pan doughy but not terribly thick. It is wi so the cheese was good. Either way try another place next time read more

Walked in at 8:30pm and they were fully staffed and empty. Told us they were closed and were kind of rude about it. Not a way to run a small business. We stopped for dinner four afults and two kids. There was a sign that said they were shorthanded which I get since everyone in northwoods has signs stating this and hiring signs. We were four adults and two kids. The woman who came up to seat us seemed put off by six people and we all felt like she wanted us to leave but we chose to just split our group to two tables. We are definitely not high maintenance and we fet like we were big inconvienence. We are sad to report that although we really like your pizza, we experienced horrific service on Friday, January 29 th. We entered with a toddler in hand expecting to wait a bit so came prepared, however after 1 hour and 40 minutes later, watching everyone else around us receive their pizza-we were still waiting. We visited here while we were on vacation after looking at the reviews, and it's pretty much as we expected. They only have pizza, so it's pretty basic, but the pizza is good. It has hand tossed crust, tons of cheese and toppings, and was pretty solid. We got the all meat and fire in a hole pizza. The fire in a hole was quite spicy. They have pepsi products. The pizza was cut in an odd rectangle shape that combined with the enormous amount of toppings made it difficult to eat. It has a very casual atmosphere. The service was a little disappointing, I was confused at first because the wait staff has no uniform, so it seems a little sloppy. Our waitress seemed a little confused and somewhat short with us, even though we went at 4:30 when we were the only people in the restaurant. Overall, decent food, but bad service. read more

Then we had the Chicken Fajita Pizza. It was good but lacked flavor. Also very affordable. The place itself was nice. Quiet atmosphere which was nice. Nothing really special but nice. Our family order food to go. We ordered 2 pizzas, a large cheese bread, fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and pretzel bites. The first issue we had was they told us it would be just over an hour, when we got there to pick it up is was still another 10-20 minutes. They completely forgot our cheese bread when I called to notify them the girl on the phone had an attitude, never apologized, and said "so are you going to come back and get it once it's made" so we had to wait another 20 minutes to go back and pick that up. Once we got the cheese bread is was basically a box of grease. We understand grease is normal however the amount of grease made it inedible. The pizzas we received were the messiest most soggy pizzas we have ever had. We got 8 mushrooms in our entire order and the cheese for the pretzel bites was ice cold. A group of adults and 2 toddlers drove up from Milwaukee for a nice get away. Our accommodations were not what we expected. That lead us to travel to a little oasis known as the Minocqua Pizza Company. The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable as well as accommodating for the kiddos. It can be hard to tell if places are actually open during covid. Hours are as listed. To say that the taco pizza saved our vacation is an understatement. This 16 inch god send fed our souls and brought us new life. The crust was everything we wanted. Crispy but not burnt. Chewy but not too tough. And my lord the toppings! You love to see it. We will be coming back and highly recommend. Especially Bridget, who befriended our kiddos and made the experience a million percent worth it! 5 stars are not a high enough rating. read more

Nothing to write home about. We got a pizza which contained meat and vegetables like a deluxe or something and a Billy Bread. The mushrooms tasted like they came out of a jar/can. I got the chunky tomato sauce because I was not sure what the sausage sauce really was. The pizza was cut into thin strips and the cheese covered the toppings. All in all it was edible and not bad but not great either. The pizza also seemed a bit spicy. The Billy Bread was just a cheese pizza with a garlic/butter sauce served with cold marinara for dipping. We were starved and ate it. I would say if there were more choices I would not have eaten there but it's Minocqua and very difficult to find places that serve food after 8pm or so. read more
