5/2023 Went here early May. Was looking for a cup of Joe. Went down to Mlwke to see a friend and got turned around. It was raining pretty good. Found this place. Highly recommended. Workers/staff are great. Prices are reasonable. They can make some great drinks and know what they are doing. They have some nice tasty treats. They have games, tv- books. Great place to go inside and chill. Plenty of parking outside, place inside is very clean- bathrooms are clean. Check them out if in the area. Good place and highly recommended! Until the next review Steve-O, out!

You don't have to be a regular or a premium to enjoy great coffee here!

The owner can be rude at times and the coffee is not that great. It's a nice place to relax.

I came here, first time, on a whim since it's close to where I reside and I always walk by it…read more I was out and about earlier in the day and wanted to have a nice sit down meal for myself. I love sandwiches and knew I had to try the pastrami. It was fantastic. I've been trying to cut back on caffeine and I instead went with one of their refreshers on the menu. It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. I got it thinking it would be diluted a bit, SO, if you like grapefruit, I'm sure it's perfect for you. I also got a peanut butter oreo pie and wish I took a picture of it...but I devoured it too quick to even think about it. For me, that dessert was the definite highlight of the cafe. I'll definitely come back on more weekends when I have a craving for pastrami.

First time here. It was a cold morning, so I stopped in for a hot beverage and something to eat…read more Food: For not being a coffee shop, they have an extensive menu of hot and cold beverages. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Otherwise, every single treat was absolutely delicious. I was seriously wowed. The owner (? I think) named everything I pointed to before giving them to me, but I don't remember all the names. I have to go by what they look like. (Please post bakery item names along with the price!) (Oh and sorry for the bad picture - he looks mad in the picture, but he was actually just really nice and smiling most of the time. I didn't realize until way later that he looks mad in the picture lol) The big puffy cinnamon sugary puff - totally the best thing I had here. Super soft inside and kinda crusty outside, perfectly sweet but not too much. The little mini chocolate croissant lookalike but denser looking things - good, but not necessarily what I'd come back here for. Blueberry scone textured rectangular thing - not airy, but dense, packed with flavor, very filling and delicious.

The people behind the counter are hard-working and friendly, and happy to go through what's on the shelves. My brother loved his hot cocoa with their homemade marshmallow fluff! They also sell lotions, soap, and candles from the business/charity next door, Franciscan Peacemakers (closed on weekends). Only comment I can make is it would be nice if the pastries were labeled as well as show the price, but this isn't stopping me from coming back! The prices are reasonable. Accessibility: It isn't wheelchair accessible (a couple steps to get into the bakery), though it is spacious when you get in. For those who are hearing impaired, I didn't have a problem. Parking: free on-street

It's even better in person…read more It seems like it's a place that is continuously added to with the smallest detail that can bring the biggest smile. I don't think that there is a wall that dosnt have some positive affirmation of sorts. It has a very authentic feel, and a maximalism approach. The air condition works just fine on a summer day but I did opt for the outdoor seating. The messages on the window are what the community needs to hear, "You are Loved" and "slow the frick down". This place really seems all inclusive. I was impressed that there IS a baby changing table in the bathroom. We tried the iced mocha, lemonade, and peach parfait that was left, because a lot was sold out. The iced mocha didn't stand out to me, but maybe that because I do like my coffee on the sweater side. The lemonade was wonderful, tasted "home made" without any pulp. We did add some of the simple syrup that was available on the table to sweeten it up just a bit. The peach parfait was great, there were pumpkin seeds in the granola which has inspired me to try and make my own. Their stickers are humorous!

Date of visit: April 29, 2026…read more I struggled to find a decent website prior to visiting to have a good idea of what we were getting into, though I don't know that I would have been less disappointed had I been more informed. I was expecting a bit more than just breakfast sandwiches in terms of food, but that is all the counter staff told us about. Later I saw people with baked goods but those weren't mentioned or visible for us to peruse. Our breakfast sandwiches were pretty average, and the coffee was just okay as well. I tried the Carrot Cake Latte and it had a hint of that flavor, but I definitely wanted a little more. The vibe is very hipster, from the bicycle crowd to the vegan folks and would really only work in a neighborhood like Riverwest!
