    Ube late

For a Saturday morning it was not very busy and there was a huge amount of seating which is honestly great for a cafe as there's typically not enough. Drinks came up quick! Friends got the ube late, dulce de leche, Yemeni late, and the banana bread late. All great! It's really a great space with good tunes and a great hangout spot for any age. There's even a drive thru!

This is mine and my wife's third time here at Al Wadi to have the wonderful Royal Arabic coffee. For $5.50 you get a wonderful cup of coffee that also has Saffron and Cardamon in it, which adds flavors but also health benefits. We were served today by Naveen who provided us excellent service during our first visit. He even gave us extra coffee that he had prepared which The coffee house is beautifully decorated with Yemeni art on the walls showing the process of coffee. There is comfortable seating in the coffeehouse and they offer free WiFi.

I had the most delicious pistachio iced latte with oat milk at Al Wadi - so flavorful! Spacious coffeehouse with a nice array of pastries and baked goods. Beautiful place right by the 80 bus line stop and not too far from the Green line.

I stopped in here for the first time today. I tried the Iced Strawberry Matcha. It honestly tasted better than what I had thought it was going to taste like. The drink itself is a 5/5 stars. The space layout is pretty sweet! There's so many spots for you to sit and enjoy your time here. The service was good, I will definitely have to come back with some friends.

    Wide open clean dining room.

We've been meaning to try this place for a while, and very glad we did! The space is large, open, bright, and beautifully remodeled. Service was superb. And the coffee, desserts, and treats are to die for.

Delicious coffee and pastries, with a ton of space inside! Would be a great place to study or catch up on emails, at least during day time hours, as it wasn't too busy. Lots of great drink options, some adding a touch of middle eastern culture.

Went for a second time in our visit to Milwaukee the chai was some of the best I've everrrr had, the barista was very sweet and asked if I wanted the chai sweetened which I appreciated, good vibes as always I recommend getting the cold foam so so yummy. The mocha is very rich and mixed well with the espresso.

May I bring my computer to study? I was thinking like eating/drinking here, and studying for 2 hours or something.

Yeah, this would be a great place for that. I'd suggest bringing headphones for studying because they do play background music and people have conversations at nearby tables. Can be distracting.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews
