Dr. Perryman took the time to explain my unique situation in terms I understood. He also is very kind and seemed interested in getting to know me personally. The experience reminded me of the small town doctors of the past. The office staff is super friendly and the space is comfortable. They even have free drinks and snacks which is nice. On top of that, he didn't try to hard sell me on purchasing glasses at the office but did explain that what they offer is high quality. I'm grateful to have this practice in town.

My insurance would pay for $180, with stipulations for an additional discount if I got 2 pairs of frames with lenses. The space is very clean and modernized, the Staff were all very professional and friendly, and I didn't get their name but the gentleman who performed my actual eye exam did such a good job! He was patient, taking his time, happily answering all my never-ending questions, re-doing and re-doing different lens strengths when I seemed unsure, going above and beyond to let me make sure my vision exam was as accurate as possible! I truly hope he winds up going far whether at Goswick or having his own Optometry practice, as I couldn't believe how much my vision improved with his help in getting an up to date and accurate new prescription! The selection of glasses is great, however I got the feeling they didn't want customers trying on and browsing the frames without being accompanied by Staff, which is understandable as there were maybe 8 other customers and they are high end designer frames. Although I would have loved being able to see and try on different styles, I didn't mind as the female Staff who was managing the floor was incredibly kind and helpful. I couldn't believe my luck, I went in only knowing I wanted a designer frame that could be both masculine and feminine, something without sharp angles to soften my face, but also professional. Dr. Keamy gave me her professional advice and a plan. I'm Very Glad I chose her for this procedure. I was not nervous her whole office and the hospital were amazing the procedure last a few moments about 15-20 minutes. Had a follow up the next morning my vision was 20/35 a month later 20/20 after doing the one eye it was decided the left Eye was good and did not require surgery as initially thought. Fantastic news for me. My friends all knew how blind I was. Night time driving was like seeing UFOs flying by bright light. Now it's like 4k ultra. You get treated poorly by their staff when asking for assistance to help your care. Messages and phone calls get mixed and ignored. Then you find out later on they just didnt want to do anything nor can give you a reason. Find a provider elsewhere. Laura Sullivan NP and Cody Desouza dont properly take note for your medical care and records. They wasted many years of care for me, I should have left sooner. Find a provider who listens and documents properly so you can have better ease of care when trying to communicate. They mostly want to push useless labs, medications and unnecessary tests to get more billed/money. They dont seem to focus on treatment or what the patient says at all, even after years of expressing and informing them.

He explained everything in detail and was very honest. It felt like he was a good friend that you known forever. The front desk staff was very friendly.
