Apparently, the door says they close at 6 PM, but Yelp says 7 PM. Silly me for trusting the internet in 2025. I asked the manager about it as he was heading out, and his response was, "Everyone googles it and everyone knows we close at 6." Ah yes, everyone knows--thank you for clearing that up, Nostradamus of business hours. He proudly informed me they haven't closed at 7 "for years" and has absolutely no plans to update the listing. Stellar initiative! Customer service gold star right there. This happens to be the same manager who greets every question with a healthy dose of sarcasm and condescension. As someone who's spent thousands of dollars here, I foolishly thought a simple "Thanks, we'll look into it" wasn't too much to ask. But apparently, that's reserved for customers who don't use Yelp. I get that his job might feel like "watching paint dry," but at least pretend to care. I made the effort to write this review so others don't waste their time. Too bad the manager didn't make the effort to update a few digits on the internet or request for a change since it has been a few years--or show a splash of enthusiasm while the paint dries. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad here. I came in and needed help and Sias was quick to help me pick out the type of paint to go with my color choice. I mentioned that my toddler was kicked out sleep in the car so I couldn't go all the way in and he stood by the door with me and went over options with me. There were many people in the store so I waited in the car. He said to check back in 15 min. I came back in with my toddler (she woke up) on the 15 min mark and my paint was coming out of the spinner. Jimmy also assisted me with a company account I couldn't locate and made sure I got the best price for my paint. Both employees were kind and efficient. I'm very happy with the customer service here. Sias helped me to my car with the paint and everything. Outstanding service. It was so good I had to write this review before I drove off so I wouldn't forget to do it... This is by far the best Sherwin Williams and my absolute favorite place to buy paint and supplies. I've been in here so many times and every single time the manager more than exceeds my expectations. I've also frequented other Sherwin-Williams as well as Kelly Moore, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc., and no other place even comes close to how well I'm taken care of at this Sherwin-Williams. About a year ago I bought paint at the Location on 1431 and I asked them to match a paint chip. After driving all the way there, waiting with subpar customer service, driving all the way home, and putting the paint on the wall, I realize the paint doesn't match at all. Not even close. So I took the gallon of paint I just spent $40 on to this location expecting to have them rematch and she'll put another $40 but the manager not only remade it correctly but without charge. This is just one example of how truly amazing their customer service is at this location. Today I went in to buy a gallon of alabaster paint for the bathrooms at 6 o'clock and the same gentleman asked me if I was going to begin painting today, because tomorrow all paints are 40% off. I'm telling you right now if you don't shop at this Sherman Williams for your painting needs, you're just plain stupid. read more

We've been fixing up our house as we prepare to put it on the market and it's been a wild ride but this Sherwin Williams has been amazing every step of the way. They've answered all of my questions (even the dumb ones) and did a great job helping us find everything we need. The first can of paint we purchased from them didn't match exactly and they helped us find the correct shade and replaced it for us without hesitation. They spent nearly an hour today helping us find the correct shade to match our garage- even lending us their paint sample key to take home to make sure. Their employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help out however they can (including helping us find the best deals on what we were purchasing). Just all around a great experience especially for our first time visiting any Sherwin Williams location. They truly seem to put their customers' best interest and needs first which is very refreshing nowadays! If you need paint/painting supplies, I could not recommend them more! read more

DO NOT come here! I walked in here grabbed a paint brush, the store manager asks if I needed anything else, as I was about to ask if they sold glitter paint he walks away from me to help this other customer. This other customer kept telling the manager that she is working with this other guy and she doesn't need his help. There are 5 guys working and it's only me and this other customer! You have the manager looking but ignoring me and wanting to help out this other lady that clearly doesn't want his help. You have the guy that was helping the lady, originally, getting her paint gallons ready, and then you have 3 guys standing in the corner behind the cashier counter talking about how their buddy is in J A I L !!! I kept telling the workers I just need to pay for this brush. THEY JUST LOOKED AT ME AND IGNORED ME! I finally said fuck it I'm going to Lowes, I put the paint brush back and headed out the door. The store manager tells Michael to stop me and check me out. It literally took longer to get help from these guys than it did for me to actually pay for a damn over priced paint brush!! The guy that works at the 620 location near 2222 - he's probably one of the most energetic, happy, helpful, personable man I've met. He should be promoted and take over this location. read more

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I won't be back. Jimmy at the counter acts like he doesn't want to be there. Walk in and go up to wait behind a customer who was being helped. Both guys working at the counter saw me walk in. No acknowledgement or nothing. One customer leaves and Jimmy proceeds to call the guy who arrived after i did. I stepped in and said i was next. Jimmy got mad and told me, "you're standing in the exit line." Like i knew. He clearly saw me walk in and waited for a good 10 minutes before he finished with the customer. From the start it was bad with him. Asked him if would look up my profile to see if i was purchasing the correct paint for a bedroom and he proceeded to tell me, "we won't have what room it goes in." I quickly told him the last time i was in the gentleman told me they would keep a profile. Well, sure enough. He pulled up my info and there it was. That irritated him i am sure. Just a real jerk! Didn't even put a sticker on the top of my can. Get yourself some friendlier people!!! Worst customer service ever!! read more

Customer service was horrible! Joe was completely unhelpful. I had custom paint made about 2 years ago at this same Sherwin Williams without any issue. Joe wouldn't even take the time to check the system to see if my information was still there and basically just stated that he didn't want to help me find anything comparable. The color I was interested in finding was a basic tan and since I am repainting the entire interior of my home, I was open to any comparable neutral color. I actually got 100% better customer service at Home Depot. read more

I hate to be mean but seriously what happened to customer service?? I usually go to the Round Rock location but this one is way closer to my house. When I walked in 2 people were back in the office doing something (not sure...) I walk up to the counter because I know exactly what I need. I wait. and wait. Finally they both emerge from the office. The guy goes to talk to some older gentlemen who was clearly applying for a job. The retired life isn't working for him so he needs something to keep him busy. How do I know this? Because instead of taking the gentlemen to the office they stood there for 5-10 minutes chatting. Awkward. The girl, after emerging from the office, started doing stuff (i.e. not helping customers) She was moving paint cans and stuff. She was actually doing stuff don't get me wrong but I stood there like an idiot being ignored while one person did stuff and the other interviewed someone. Finally the girls says "someone will be right with you" maybe another 5 minutes later she finally came to help me. I gave her my very simple need (2 gallons of paint) and she got busy. Another gentlemen came from somewhere and he seemed to be the nicest of the bunch. I gave 3 stars because I do like their color selection. IMHO Benjamin Moore is WAYYYY better but the guy I am working with for painting uses Sherwin Williams. Its good enough. But the customer service at this store reeks. We are retouching some areas in our house and the paint we originally used has dried up. We came to Sherwin-Williams after visiting a couple of other home improvement stores. The manager on duty was Matt, and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we had (who knew there was so much to know about paint?!) Horrible service!! Don't waste your time here. There are two guys that work here...one who just sits in the back and rudely ask me "what is it that I needee"...I mean not even in a polite manner. The manager i think his nake is Jimmy. I think the reason these guys can get away with it is because most of there business is from painter contractors. They can care less about the do it yourself customer's who look for that consultative experience. What upsets me is I don't even think there Regional Managers care or even know. BEWARE There are 2 in cedar park. this was about a mile closer, so went here. I was told that they only had gallons of the paint I needed ( this after waiting 15 minutes for him to "locate " it ) He told me that the next nearesty place was in round rock..a half an hour away ( more if traffic) if i wanted only a quart. I didn't believe him. Felt like he was pressuring me to buy an entire gallon for $40 instead of the $15 for a quart. Most people probably would have, but Called the other cedar park store when I got in the parking lot. "Yes, we have 7 quarts right here ". I spent the $25 that I saved on lunch. read more

After reading the reviews about the horrible customer service (for *all* locations), I needed Sherwin Williams paint and chose this store, closest to me. I went at 4PM on a Thursday - there were about 4 employees ready to greet customers. I was VERY well taken care of. The man that helped me was very patient in pulling different colors, putting the paint I brought in on paper to compare, and making recommendations. There were absolutely no issues with customer service during this visit - and I will be back! read more

I'd say 4.5 stars for sure. Five stars would mean they help paint when I need them!!! Been coming to this store for about 7 years...always happy with the service I receive. The staff have saved me time and effort on certain projects, perhaps even saved me some $$$$. I drive past one of the 'big box' stores on the way to SW and I'm happy to do so(although I did just purchase some Rustoleum paint that SW doesn't carry...had to hit the BORG for that). Shop for sales if you are considering a big project as SW paint is a bit spendy. Perhaps it's worth the extra money as I don't recall a single project in which SW paint disappointed me(going back a good 15 years). Tell these folks what you are trying to accomplish and they will help you. They want you to come back as a satisfied customer! read more
