He tried to tell me that I brought it in that way. Hmmm.. Nope, I would've had a trail of paint coming into the store.. I just asked for another can and they said they didn't have one. So, he put a piece of tape over it. I should've walked out. But my painter needed it asap. I went to pay and he overcharged me by $50.. I'm not a builder, so I'm usually in there for light bulbs or flowers. I love the garden area, and I especially appreciate the indoor section for houseplants. That's not something every store bothers with. They have some of the friendliest cashiers I've run into, and just as important, no pushy salespeople. Nobody follows you down the aisle. If you need help you can find it, and if you don't, you're left alone to shop. I've bought a few appliances here, and I even signed up for one of their home visits to have my AC checked. That was a pleasant experience too, which isn't something I say often about anyone coming to my house to look at equipment. I also like the 5% discount when you use the Lowe's card. It's not much, but I pretend it covers inflation.

So... I've needed drywall repair for a while in my home. I had ripped off wallpaper and needed…read moresome texture, had some holes in my ceiling from light fixtures, holes in my walls from leaks and so on. Being really nervous about working with contractors, I spent a week getting estimates from a bunch fo different guys. Tim was the one with the best price and he just made it sound so easy. (that's when you know that they know what they are doing) So all my drywall is repaired now, and I am very happy with the results. Someone had actually quoted me 3 x the price and said they would do it in a week, when Tim said it would take a full day. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is because I've never had any drywall repair before. He was on time, he did what he said he was going to do, I was able to trust him in my home, alone. He works fast and gets the job done right. Place is clean. Couldn't be happier and would recommend him to anyone that needs drywall/ random things done in their home. P.s. He was able to fix a baseboard that had leak damage and part of a door frame that nobody else seemed to know what to do with other than rip the whole thing off. I liked him so much that I had him do some painting. At the moment, he's not done yet, but I'll be sure to review his painting in my next review. Need some work around the house, Call Tim! Oh, and he'll be happy to give you his references, just ask. I talked to them and they all love working with him. And.. he always answers his phone/messages. What can I say!? One where you can actually ask for advice on a project you are working on and deepen your perspective on the project. THAT is Ace Westlake. I came here today and really enjoyed my visit and discussing my project with them. They really did add the perspective I reference and that has me taking a step back before moving forward, just to make sure the direction I move is the way I want to go! While there for my project I noticed some "Managers Special'" shelves and yes, I bought a few things I probably don't even need, because the price was so good!
