Salem Paint was nearby & had great reviews, so I went by there with my sign. They noticed it had a bit of a black glaze wiped over the top, which was going to make for a tricky match (and it DID! I had thought we'd just match the back but it was a much brighter color... thank goodness they noticed). They asked me to leave my sign & give them a couple of days. So I picked it up today and wow!!! They painted the spot for me while matching!! How cool is that?? It's a perfect match... look at my pic. Bet you can't even tell where the chunk had been gouged out! Salem Paint is the bomb. Love them!!

Store management was of no assistance either. The other Salem location on 4759 Lancaster was able to mix the paint with the old DB formula and it's a perfect match!

I brought in a shade of white (from Sherwin Williams) that the previous owners used and the staff was able to custom make that color so I can continue to use the same shade but with higher quality paint-they even kept the mix recipe in a book in case I need another can in the future! They also keep record of every color sample I buy for future reference. The paint quality is amazing and every can we buy is rich and creamy-never drips. I'm a Benjamin Moore customer for life and this store will continue to get my support and business for as long as I live in the area. Outstanding service. Floyd is the man!

This is one of those stores where I feel like half the time there are more employees than customers; I'm not sure if it ever truly gets busy here. Yes, real samurai swords. And so many knives; it's practically a convention of blades. :: A produce section. Small compared to a supermarket, but vast for stores of this size. :: There are so many different tools here that this place may as well be an actual hardware store. :: They have local alumni memorabilia, ranging from OSU footballs to Univ of Oregon apparel. :: A collection of animal themed clocks, frames, and general home decor. The service dogs get into barking matches with other dogs and it's a disturbance to everyone. Not to mention the pee and poop that occurs. Another unfortunate aspect is the behaviors of some customers, it's astonishing how rude and verbally abusive these folks were to the cashiers. I didn't see any support from management when it came to one lady who was upset with a cashier who was hard of hearing. This woman berated the cashier and got so upset over a simple misunderstanding. Disgusting behavior! The overall selection of items is fun to look at, but a lot of items are clearly overpriced and can be found at other stores for less. I'm not paying 3 or more for a dollar tree item. The cashiers are always nice and helpful, but the management needs to support them more, especially when customers are rude. As a customer, I believe we're not always right, especially when one is acting up with an employee. Employees deserve respect and safety, without them a business can suffer and flounder.

They have people stationed at certain areas of the store. It seems to be that's were their speciality is. The store was clean and easy to find where I was going. Signs are clearly labeled and large so you can see. Both in English and Spanish which I thought was cool. When I went to check out I realized I forgot my card and they said they could look me up in their system which was kind of them to do. It helped me get the discount I was wanting when I went to shop. Don't be afraid to ask how to do something! They love helping when you are trying to start a new project. A couple years back my dad wanted to build a fort for me and my brother. They don't want someone running out with it. However Jole had already asked for my ODL and had it behind the counter. I told him he could also hold my wallet and money if he like but I needed to hold the gun with out the lock on it to see if it fit my hand. nope. No can do. I told him I geld very disrespected ! he treated me like a thief. With the great feeling of disrespect, I just encountered I will be taking my business elsewhere to a completely different store for all of my needs.

She was incredibly immature and has no proper training on how to deal with public. She should stay in the back unloading trucks or something.
