Today was no different. Service by Michael was outstanding. They go out of their way to help the little guys, homeowners like me, which is so refreshing for a business like this that usually caters to contractors. A few weeks…read moreback I purchased paint for a project and the customer service rep informed me about the 40% off sale they were having today 24April26. He created an account for me and informed me that as a member of the armed forces I get an additional 15% off, confirming this I ask to verify that in addition to the 40% off sale the 15% can be applied and he said sure can. Now either the rep wasn't sure of it or if it is a store by store case not sure. I arrived at this location and learn that one they can't see my account as its only at the I signed up at, makes no sense how a store this big cannot see my account regardless where it was set up at! Now obviously what was said to me at one store and said here are two different things. And I had to pick between one or the other discounts. No-brainer 40% off would be the right way to go. However, the price tag they came with a 5 gallon and a 1 gallon can of paint is ridiculous at this place for a DY project. I should have went to Home Depot or Lowe's where I've could've gotten the same quality paint and a much cheaper price. In other words what I'm saying is you're paying for the name on the can versus paying for something that's a lot cheaper for the same quality elsewhere. I will say this this is the last time I will shop at Sherman Williams as the price tag is not worth any project I have to do. To put it in perspective the 5 gallon can of paint I bought today was close to $300 and the 1 gallon can after a discount was $60. For the same paint semi gloss I can buy for under $200 for the 5 gallon K and under $50 for the 1 gallon can. You should be ashamed for charging so much money for non-contractor customers.

Came in looking for paint. I showed them the code from a photo of a bucket I took. They only sell…read morethat particular paint in a full bucket versus a sampler size I was looking for. I asked if they sold anything else close to that color and they sold me a smaller quart sized sampler. I took it home and the color is noticeably brighter so the touch up I needed for a room looks off. Next time I should bring a paint chip sample. I can still use their paint for another room if I need a touch up as it looks close in color. But looks like I will need another trip to the paint store in the future to get the right color for the room I need a touch up on.

What do we have here, folks?…read more Drumroll please... A PAINT STORE! Sorry, I attempted to make purchasing paint as exciting as possible, a lofty task indeed. With boredom now top of mind, it poses the question: what do you really want from a paint store? My answer is below. For me, no small talk, no upsell, not too much other than paint on the shelves, that's what I want and that's what I got. After handing over a few paint chips that I peeled from the outside wall of my house, the guys behind the counter were quick to help me out. Before I knew it they had disappeared to the back only to resurface with three gallons of the paint that I needed. In and out, very quickly, very happy. Sherwin-Williams, you have done your part, now let's hope my painter doesn't f#ck the whole job up.

They found it' but getting a gallon of paint from the staff was like pulling teeth. The staff immediately greeted us, however that's when help stopped. The phone was ringing and the call in customers were way more important than the ones in the store to spend money. When we asked if our paint was ready they said they hadn't got to it yet. We were the only ones in the store. We won't be going back to this store and hopefully the Sherwin Williams across the street has nicer employees who care about those stopping into their store.
