Service - Kayla was amazing! Patient and gave many good suggestions. Including additional options for painters (we asked), which hopefully we will not need. When we got here, there were many employees working. Price - $100 for a paint consultation to have them come out to your property. Free if you speak to a paint consultant in-house. Since we were here, we went with the free in-house service. Our painter includes the cost of the paint and our painter is NOT inexpensive. Look forward to seeing the end results. He received all the help he needed, but my experience was completely different. The moment I picked up an item in the camping aisle and handed it to my husband, who was carrying the basket, I noticed employees watching me. One employee kept their eyes on me for over 10 minutes. It got to the point where I had to make eye contact and stare back because I felt so uneasy. As a brown Asian customer shopping with my Caucasian husband, I couldn't help but feel like I was being singled out. The employees were constantly talking on their radios while watching me. They may have thought they were being subtle, but it was obvious. Whether intentional or not, I was left feeling as though I was being treated like I was stealing, and it completely ruined my shopping experience. No customer should leave a store feeling singled out or uncomfortable. This happened roughly 2-3 weeks ago, and I haven't been back since. Even though the store is only about a minute from my house, I refuse to shop there again. There are plenty of other places that know how to treat customers with respect.

Walls, baseboards, trim, door and ceiling all the same color but in different sheens. We were not looking for craftsmanship we just didn't have the man hours to get the job done. What we got: fantastic work for the price. All doors, trim, baseboards and ceiling were sprayed. We had a large ceiling crack and cracks around the window frames from settling... all were patched and look great. The work was done in three days. We used sherwin williams Greek villa. Company/ Alberto: easy to work with, knowledgable, English and Spanish speaking. Great hardworking guy. Considerations: because this house will be renovated overspray on flooring, cabinets, and fixtures were a non issue. However, we did not experience any over spray or damaged fixtures as other previously reported in older reviews. We checked on the house one evening as saw everything was tarped off great. So I think it may have been an older issue with the company that has been resolved.

She has seen the place, knows my feel for warm colors, and picked a toasty latte tan in about five minutes. Erica says it's a Sherwin-Williams color. Not wanting to go to the south side of Reno, I Yelped Sherwin-Williams and discovered this one north of the airport and much closer to home. I called to make sure they sell to everyone and weren't just for commercial painters. The girl say yes, they just offer different hours. They open at 6:30 am and close st 5 pm. The store has a giant wall of samples to choose from, as well the other supplies you might need to get the painting done. I handed the guy my sample, we discussed the type and quality of paint I wanted and in about 5 minutes I was out the door with latte for my laundry closet and hallway. Yes I will return. It was convenient. The paint had minimal smell, went on easy and covered well. The price- about the same as Home Depot and Lowe's but with polite individual service.

Another "Healthy" plant bites the dust…read more This is a follow up to a previous post of my experience at Rail City, which has a horrible return/exchange policy and does not give veterans discounts. I've purchased several $ thousand of plants at the nursery over the past 8 years. I bought 3 potentilla scrubs in April at Rail City. These are sun loving plants that were kept in the shade at the nursery. They were planted in mild weather and consistent with planting instructions provided by the nursery. All dropped their leaves within the first week. One never recovered and a second one died this week, which on examination had no root development despite beginning kept in moist, well drained soil and in full sun for nearly 4 months. I wonder how long these two deceased plants were kept in a 5 gallon container, crammed together in the shade? Some of branches were the diameter of my little finger. I went to another nursery today and bought a second replacement. I didn't even bother calling Rail City, whose owner was so unhelpful with the first dead plant. The replacement is a beautiful plant that has kept in full sun with plenty of room to thrive. It cost about 2/3 of what I paid at Rail City.
